Ruckus is a tricky one to rate because we are anything like each other we want the full experience. You are going to want a burger, fries and likely a shake. Is that worth $17.50 for one person? Lets break down the meal The burger: I got a double double (pictured here). High points are that everything on it is good. Nice choice for the bun, size of patties was good, and everything felt fresh. At $8.50 for the burger I am ok because the quality of everything that I ate. The Fries: The fries were cooked perfectly (as pictured) but lacked something. The mix of potato and choice of frying oil wasnt good enough to eat alone so I found myself drowning the fries in the specialty ketchup they had. If you arent picky you wont care because carbs. Ive had better fries at a lot of places. The portion was right... it just needs something. The shake: To quote Vincent Vega from Pulp fiction " Can I have a sip of that? Id like to know what a five-dollar shake tastes like." This is the item that will bump your bill up a notch. If you are ordering a shake you likely have had shakes before in your life. You have something to compare them to. That is the ultimate downfall. Every single shake I have had elsewhere is better. You would be right to rush to correct me and say "Taste is subjective!!". Nah. Thats ok. I have had shakes where the flavor (in this case chocolate) is pronounced without being overwhelming. If its a chocolate shake I want to taste decent chocolate. If its a $5 shake I want something that sets it above others. The pricepoint is telling me "Great" but the overall execution is "Subpar". It just tasted like cheap powered chocolate. The service is brief. The cashiers are polite and friendly. The overall aesthetic is nice. Parking isnt really an issue here with street parking, a structure across the street and their own lot. The burger is a great addition to our area but everything else is lacking especially the shake. Burger 8/10 Fries 6/10 Shake 4/10 For one person I am not certain that $17.50 is worth it. If you are charging me a premium than Id ask you bring your A game. Burger is good but the rest needs some honest thought and improvement.

Went opening day and got food to go. The food took a while to come out and it wasnt worth the wait. All the burgers were cold by the time I got home and the buns were clearly toasted ahead of time. The bread tasted like they were strait out of the bag and all the burgers were greasy and soggy. The 1/4 pound patties are just too small and it didnt have a good meat to bun ratio. The Ruckus was missing the grilled pineapple as described and it was just a Rizo with bacon. The Rizo had decent flavor, but nothing memorable. The Classic tasted ok, but nothing worth returning for. The ice cream was pretty good, but I like sundaes not saturdaes. The Churros looked like little turds. They were overly fried and were coated with way too much cinnamon and sugar. Overall, it was a lot of hype and they couldnt execute.

My daughter and I figured we would give this place a try. My daughter tried the classic burger, and I tried the Rizo. Burgers were ok, but I expected more for the price. What I expected would have some spice from the chorizo/beef patty had absolutely none. My daughter enjoyed the shake, and we shared an order of the churros for dessert. The churros reminded us more of funnel cake than actual churros, and the dough was over fried. The place has a nice atmosphere, and will be nice to sit outside once it gets warmer (especially with friends or family). Good spot for a basic burger and fries with slightly different toppings, but stop using the bland chorizo in the patties it defeats the point of using chorizo.

This is a cheery looking place to spend a lot of money on mediocre food and service. The terrible loud music means your cashier likely couldnt hear which of the almost identically named burgers you meant to order so double check your receipt. Friends have had trouble with the management giving them a bad attitude when they try to fix incorrect orders. Shakes are pretty good though if you dont mind occasional long waits. I recommend the peanut butter one.

Went on a Sunday at 2 p.m., it was closed. (Granted the Packers were playing but still makes no sense as a business model) Decided I wanted it for dinner, come to find out it is only open from 10:30 to 4 p.m this week. I dont know why a newly-opened restaurant would have such weird hours to begin with, but now I dont even want to try it. Hopefully anyone else who goes is able to try it out and tell me how it is.

There atmosphere is cool. The staff was nice and the food in general was good. The only thing really holding me back is the whole soft serve ice cream angle of Ruckus. Theres a ton of places to get high quality ice cream or frozen custard in the Milwaukee area, so soft serve isnt all that appealing with all these other superior ice cream type options. Thats just me though, maybe others love it.

Been here twice. Not going back. The staff is uninterested in their job and the food tastes like it. The burgers look great, but are lacking in flavor. I think they forgot to season it. Fries are so so. The place is clean and it looks nice but the food is average. If you want a burger, skip Ruckus and go to some place like Culvers

The burgers are large like a restaurant vs a fast food place. The beef was juicy and the toppings just right. The fries are large enough to share between 2 adults in my opinion. The ice cream is soft serve but well priced at $3 for a large sugar cone with toppings. My husband loves that he can order beer with his burger.

Ordered the classic burger and fries. Both were ok. Fries were crispy but quite a few burnt ones on the bottom. Burger was decent, but for the price there is tastier elsewhere. They only have soft serve ice cream too which is pretty weak, Id expect nothing less than frozen custard for this market. Head over to Kopps.

I got a burger, milkshake, and fries here. The burger was pretty greasy and flavorless and fries tasted like raw potatoes. Maybe it will be better in the future, since I went on opening day. The only good part was the milkshake, I got chocolate. My friend got peanut butter, and it tasted exactly like peanut butter

The atmosphere is very fun and have great outdoor seating that will make it a great summertime destination. The burgers were pretty good but not amazing. The shakes were just soft serve ice cream in a cup, pretty disappointing. Restaurant has potential to be amazing but is still very young.

What a cool new burger shop in Shorewood... granted, I had a chicken sandwich, but still! They have both indoor and outdoor seating, with a fire pit outside! I tried their milkshake with the bit of a spicy kick - give it a second before you decide if you like it (if youre trying a sample).

Trendy spin on burgers. Everything is pricey as burgers joints go. If you want to make it feel worth the price, dont order the classic burger. The other selections are more unique. The fries were very good. They do have nitro cold brew coffee and a few tasty beers on tap.
