Its really frustrating, as a college student, that chain restaurants just presume that we will eat and put up with anything. I have been to close to a dozen different BWWs over the last few years, and I would take any one of them over this place. The service is absolutely terrible. They dont ask you if you want anything like bleu cheese or ranch, and good luck getting a refill. I finally waved down my waiter and he just looked at me and left. A few minutes later he brought me a refill and put it down without even slowing down his pace. It is important to note that this was during the middle of the afternoon, so the place had a total of about ten people in it, definitely not a busy hour. The place itself isnt even set up well, with the usual "layout" of a BWWs pretty much ignored, the place instead being one ugly room. I would put up with this if it meant that the food was good, but amazingly, they screw that up too. Honestly, you could get tricked into thinking you ordered dry-rubs when they bring your wings. Theres about enough sauce on the entire plate to cover one wing. One of the times I was here, they didnt even mark the different plates. As I said, this place survives because college kids dont have a choice. However, as one who drives, the BWWs at East Town Mall is vastly superior to this dump, so anyone who can drive shouldnt waste a second at this one. Id give some advice to the owners, but its so obvious that they dont care at all that its not worth the effort. If youre trying to find food in the area, look elsewhere.

Service was terrible and we were prejudiced because we came to watch the Purdue game. I had on a Purdue shirt (my alma mater) and due to this, our server did not come to our table in the bar until about 10 minutes after we had sat down. Once she finally asked if we had been helped, we were finally able to order. After numerous apologies about it being Boneless Thursday and therefore too busy for her to get to us before she did, we finally ordered. When the food came out, it was marginal at best. My boneless wings were mostly crumbs while the buffalo chips were soggy and not warm at all. After we finished, our waitress brought the bill, we paid, and after she brought the check back, she said, and I quote: "Maybe if you didnt wear a Purdue shirt in the heart of Badger Land you would have gotten better service". This is completely unacceptable. We will never go back to this BW3s location. The Fitchburg location is far superior with immensely better service without the prejudice, as we have gone there during Purdue-Wisconsin bball games and never had a problem. Completely unacceptable.

I love BWs in general, but this one just isnt as good as most. Traditional wings are usually dry and overcooked. Boneless, its about 50/50. They barely put on any sauce, unless you ask for it extra wet, in which case its 50/50 as to whether you get it basically dry or completely soaked. When weve gone there for lunch, Ive actually given up waiting for the waitress and gone and filled my own water; I got to see the waitress just standing at the hostess stand in the front when I went. No, no one was waiting there, she was just standing at it with a blank stare. On take-out, be sure to check that you got everything. Ive had them leave out wedges or sauces (but they do always get the wings). It gets really backed up during big Wisconsin sporting events, which I get because its busy, but when its slow and poor service the rest of the time? In general, this chain gets a huge thumbs up from me, but this particular one is very variable on quality and service.

I love Buffalo Wild Wings. I generally eat at one a few times per month. However, this is the worst BWW that I have ever been to. They have consistently bad service. I work near there and still get suckered into going because I like the food. Examples of bad service: forgetting one persons order in a group and saying it will take 10 minutes for their order to be prepared, taking an hour to bring out an order of wings and a side, taking 20 minutes to prepare a to-go order when quoted 10 minutes, putting the wrong sauce on the wings, barely any sauce on the wings. In addition, even when the food is prepared correctly and not forgotten about, it is always super-slow no matter what time of day you go. You will wait and wait for your food. You have been warned!

everytime I go, the mess up the simple order of a cheeseburger with cheddar cheese and bacon. the fries are always cold. it takes forever to sit down (albeit after football games) the service isnt even good. it once took an hour to get our food once we sat down. then they gave me a bacon cheeseburger without bacon. then they just gave me 2 tiny pieces of bacon. I suggest somewhere else thats better than this place.

I love Buffalo Wild Wings, but this location is lacking what other locations are. I liked it better when it was still on State Street. This location is a large place, with plenty of seating and TVs. Its similar to any other BW3, but the food has been better at other locations. The couple times I have been to this location the staff wasnt very friendly and didnt seem to care much.

This Buffalo Wild Wings relocated to University from State Street. The new building demonstrates how a BWW should be. You have the massive screens to watch your sports games, and you dont have to travel far if youre a student living on campus. The wings are great, and its a nice college hangout even though its a bit pricey ($8-$36).

Honestly it depends what time you eat at this location. My experience has been great before 5 pm. The wings are sauced evenly, food comes quick, and tastes great. However the last few times Ive arrived around 8 pm the food took more then 30 minutes, and it was poorly prepared with barely any sauce on the wings.

Never had a bad experience here through my years of college and even now after graduation. The wait might get long here on game days or during sporting events but thats true of every bdubs. More of a college crowd, but its definitely not unusual to see families either.

Orders have been messed up a few times but my biggest complaint is the value. The service is marginally acceptable and the food is good, but it isnt a place to eat lunch on a regular basis because it costs too much.

Great wings and lots of sporting events to follow on the various screens. The customer care is a plus given the high customer turn over. I will be sure to visit again.

Really great service! I found a foreign object in my food and they did not hesitate to bring out a new order. And yes, I will be back because their wings are amazing.

These guys sure know wings! I just wish they had this restaurant in other cities as well. Oh well, I guess I will just have to visit madison more often.
