I wish I could give 0 stars. I ordered on an icy night, knowing my delivery might take longer than normal. An hour and twenty minutes after I ordered I was able to get them on the phone (after trying for 20 minutes and getting a busy signal). They said the food was out with the driver. 2 hours and 40 minutes after my order was placed I got through again (after trying to call and getting a busy signal for 40 minutes) and they checked on my order, said it was out on deliver, and offered NOTHING for the delay. When I pushed it a little, they said they would offer 25% off my NEXT order. Why would I order again??? The person on the phone also refused to cancel my order and refused to tell me when a manager would be available the following day. The delivery showed up 20 minutes later, making the grand total wait for delivery 3 hours. When I called to speak with the manager, he did not acknowledge that there was a problem and kept saying "but you got your food?" and "well what do you want me to do?" Overall an awful experience.

My first year in Madison I ate here at least weekly. It might not be the healthiest Asian food in town, but its super affordable and very good. I get sweet and sour chicken, beef fried rice, and cashew chicken most often. Huge portions, easily 2 full meals. They dont skimp on the sauce like a lot of places either. Very fast, easy, never a line. Can eat in but I usually take home. Ive never had them forget stuff (they even give utensils and sauce packets reliably, I have a drawer full). I live close so have never tried delivery. That seems to be the source of the most negative reviews. Ive honestly not even noticed, in all those interactions, either good or bad service. I come in, I order, they write it down and repeat it back. I hand over my card, then I wait like 3 minutes and they set my bag on the counter and call it out. Its not even complicated enough to trigger good or bad service. Its like talking to Siri.

HORRIBLE! Ordered our food over the phone and paid with a card at 10:18pm. Did not recieve food until 11:30pm even though food was suppose to arrive at 11:00pm. Once we received the food the order was wrong. Called Asian Kitchen about incorrect food and the women who answered was insane. Screamed at me saying I did not know how to taste food and told me over and over again that all the chicken was the same and that the sauce was different insisting that I should still eat it because it was still chicken. I then asked for a refund and she refused to give me one unless I drove the food to the restaurant ( I had the food delivered to my house) keep in mind by this time it was almost 11:45pm! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! FOOD NOT EVEN GOOD!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.

What a JOKE! We ordered food late night in the ICU where I work. The food arrived having, and one item had OBVIOUSLY spilled rendering all the other items soggy and disgusting. The driver treated the situation with nonchalance, and the follow up call to the restaurant during normal hours was disappointing. After being told that I could not speak to the manager, because he has a language barrier, and an exasperating 30 minute phone conversation with his go-between, Ive written this place off as somewhere to avoid like the plague.

I placed an order through Asian Kitchen and was told it would be delivered in 45 minutes. After 65 minutes, I called the restaurant. I was told they never received my order. Rather than offer to fill my order, give me a free appetizer, anything, they said "bye" and HUNG UP ON ME. I later got the manager on the phone, and learned that the manager was the one who decided to hang up on me. Im waiting to find out whether they charged me for the first order that they "never received." Dont waste your time or energy.

Overall, the food was bad and the staff were rude. The place has different sized containers on the wall labeled so I specified which I wanted, but the woman snapped back that they only had one size. I got the sesame chicken and it came out crunchy, like it was more fried flour than actual chicken. I said thank you when ordering and getting my food and was completely ignored. If this was the only Chinese restaurant open in Madison and I was craving Chinese food, I would still go to Wendys.

Ive eaten here once a week for 18 mo.s and this is by far my fav restaurant. Ive eaten at most asian takeouts in 608 and this is the only place i can taste the love in their cooking. You can tell they really put their heart and soul in every dish. Never once have i had a bad experience here, sure theyre not perfect, but hands down best asian takeout ive ever had. Try the peanut chicken (one of the specials) n pair it w some lo mein.. to die for. Shout out #asiankitchen. On my momma.

I would say that their delivery service hasnt improved. Waited 1 hour to get my food delivered less than a mile away and then was told I had to come down (I work on an upper floor) to meet him at the curb down the block since he didnt want to park and walk.... And if it costs $1 for "a little extra peanuts", but $3 for "A LOT", then I would say youd be better off going and buying your own. Definitely not worth the $14 I just spent on a meal.... :(

Granted, the staff has changed a lot lately, but Asian Kitchen is above par 95% of the time. I havent ordered in person lately, but the staff was super-friendly for the year or two I went in in person. I always get delivery now, and the food comes quickly, freshly cooked and hot. The only negative I have is that for a little while, I was getting more breading in my General Tsos than chicken. No problem lately, though. I love them.

ordered food and realized that my wallet was not with me I called to tell them Im sorry I have to cancel because I dont have the money to pay for the order I did not think it would be a problem as I spend at least $100 a week here the employee yelled at me and then hung up in my face after calling back and talking to who ever answers the phone claiming to be a manager I was told I was absolutely wrong customers are not right!

I dont expect a delivery boy calling me and yelling at me just because i didnt get his call while i was in class and he had to wait for a few minutes. What kind of service is this??! Not only their delivery boys, but also the staff in the restaurant are really rude and irresponsible. Plus they serve average food only, there are many more places that serve better food and have better service than they do at Madison!

Trying to get "the best" Asain food in Madison. First of all, I had to call three times to make sure my food was still on the way. A "new driver" made the order take an hour and thirty minutes before I cancelled. No customer service or apologies were given. After an hour and a half the meal should be compensated back to the customer. Customer is always right. Without us you would be nothing. Remember that.
