I go out to eat at what are called "nice restaurants" 4-5 times a year where you can expect to pay more than $100 for three or four people; places like the Chop House, Black & Tan, Brett Favre Steakhouse. Angelinas is one of those places. Other reviews mentioned how cold it was and when we got there at 5:30 on a Saturday night it was cool. A customer complained and they got the heat going. We ordered the Pappardelle al Gamberi, Rigatoni Rustica, and a stuffed chicken special. We order Bruschetta for appetizer. The bruschetta was unimpressive. The bread brought to the table was unimpressive. Bread was room temp even though wrapped in a cloth napkin, somewhat dry. Bruschetta had no taste but tomatoes on bread. I dipped it into the oil and vinegar that sits at every table to give it some flavor. The Entrees were good. Plenty of shrimp in mine although I dont think I tasted much garlic. My daughter really like her Rigatoni, the sausage in it was very good. My wife enjoyed her chicken. The food was on par with other restaurants i mentioned above. Joel, our waiter, took good care of us throughout the meal although the entrees seemed to take a bit long to arrive; 25-30 minutes with only a handful of customers present. And Joel did not mix a plate of oil and vinegar for us and our bread basket. Maybe he was ashamed of the dry, room temp bread. I had a craving for Italian tonight, Angelinas met it but I dont think I will go back there when that craving comes calling again. I do think its worth trying, however. I did not think it that expensive for the quality. Our bill was $77 which included one glass of Chardonnay.

Obviously we must have dined at a different Angleinas than some of your other reviewers did....funny, same address. No tablecloths, cheap flatware, no prefix menu , noisey, cold, over lit room . We came early to have an adult beverage and soak in the ambiance, only to be greeted with the miniscule bar covered with napkins and silverware. We did manage to get 2 gimlets served at the table, one with no roses lime juice the other with lots, not a bad combination after we mixed them together. The wine list was interesting and offered a good value. I will agree that the bruschetta and pasta putanesca were superb. The secondi: a supposedly kicked up salmon dish that looked nice but had no flavor on a questionably fresh piece of salmon and a carmalized chicken dish with leeks that had over done and uncaramalized chicken in green wine sauce that looke unappealling but had lots of flavor. A unique dish that might had made it if the chicken was done properly. We skipped dessert or an after dinner drink, we were too cold and blinded by the harsh chandelier over our heads. Go for wine and pasta...skip the meal!--oh and one more thing, dress warm if you go in winter months.

We ate at Angelinas on Friday night. Our waitress, Allie (sp?) was terrific. We were seated at a table downstairs, near the bar; I went upstairs to find a beautiful, warmly decorated dining room at which I would have preferred to sit, though we hadnt been asked. We ordered the calamari appetizer (It was okay; a little rubbery, but tasty), two raviolis (very good, but the Butternut Squash at Chives beats this one, hands-down), pesto pasta (not as good as my homemade, insists my husband, though the pasta itself was cooked perfectly) salmon (cooked more than we cook ours at home, but tasty), and tilapia (tasty but not very eye-appealing in presentation). The vegetable sides were gorgeous and delicious! My husband had three cocktails. Our bill came to $100 (before the tip) for the three of us. When spending that kind of money for dinner, I would expect something special, and while we had a decent experience here, we are unlikely to return; it just wasnt anything to write home about, in our opinions.

Good wine, good beer, the friendliest owner in the world, quaint, good lighting, but terribly snotty waitress and my order wasnt as expected. I agree with other reviewers that I found it odd that a salad wasnt offered with the meal. There was not a vegetable in sight. The bread was also unremarkable. Based on how snotty our young, beautiful waitress was who absolutely refused to try and get along well with us (going so fat as to call my mother "honey"), messed up our order and didnt bring enough wine glasses or forks, Id have to say Id skip this place a second time around. If I wanted to be treated like a dog turd, I could stay home and dine with my teenagers. To the owner: youre doing it right sir, and we loved you! To the waitresses: a smile goes s lot further in getting a nice tip than perfect smokey shadow, ladies.

....expand into Appleton! Folks down here dont realize that yours is second only to a meal in Catania! Well worth our :30min drive to Green Bay. Now that you are a family act, its time to grow! First time? Heres how to order... Begin with a couple glasses of wine and split an appetizer. Order one each, from primo and secondi. Add an extra salad. Youre all set for one of the best meals of your life! Take your time. Your host will stop by and check on you - nice touch! No rush, great food, ambiance. What more could you ask for except a closer opportunity! Surely Angelina, you can find an opportunity down the road a piece. Treat Appleton to the secret Green Bay has had for too long. Grazie!

ATTENTION: people that love Olive Garden, dont come here! Angelinas food is SUPER FRESH, DELICIOUS ,VERY CREATIVE WITH ALL THE FLAVORS!! The service is great too, everyone was soo nice and helpful! the ONLY PROBLEM is that we live in Milwaukee and either Angelina needs to open up down here by us or we have to visit GreenBay more often! Angelina, the folks who have left a bad review, the ONLY REASON they have a problem with your food is there used to eating the stale, flavorless, same old food from olive garden, so to all of you who didnt enjoy Angelina Ristorante, either get out of your box or GO BACK TO OLIVE GARDEN! THANK YOU ANGELINA FOR BRINGING SUCH GREAT FOOD TO US! JO :)

This place was very eh. Born and raised in an Italian neighborhood, I thought at first that I had found a gem while on business in Green Bay. I was wrong. The food is overpriced, and the portions are small. The ambiance feels forced, with servers attempting Italian lingo with a extreme northern accent. The service was good, but for 50$ a meal there are better options in the area. Also they are Sicilian, so i should have known not to trust this place. Next time I will control my urges and resist the Italian restaurant.

I took my wife here two days ago and we had a very enjoyable meal. The food and service were excellent. We both had ravioli, she with spinach filling under pesto and tomato sauces and me with lobster under alfredo. Both were wonderful dishes. The alfredo sauce had a wonderful flavor and consistency. The restaurant is small - it can seat perhaps 30 people - and they recommend reservations, though none were needed on the Thursday night we were there. I highly recommend Angelina for a wonderful, Italian meal.
