Went there at 3:30pm, was told there would be a 10 to 15 minute wait !?! They said they were short staffed, well OK. The sample wine was very good. Everything went down hill from there. Server did not get appetizer order in! Then soup and salad came out, OK. Long time for main dishes. Wifes dish looked good but not very hot. Server placed my dish failing to say that plate was very HOT !!! I almost burned my hands. I suggested that the server should tell customer that plate is HOT before setting it in front of you. Her comment was, "That is why I set it in front of you." Then a sarcastic SORRY. My dish had dry pasta, scimpy & dry meat toppings. This was the $18 three meat dish shown on TV. I then asked to speak to the manager. She did comp the whole meal. All we wanted was a nice meal. The server never came back to our table!

My granddaughter had a get together today after her high school graduation at the olive Garden in Tupelo. We had 16 in our party. After 3 hours of waiting on our food and getting our tickets and takeout boxes we finally got out of there. The server at my table was really good and kept apoloziging for it taking so long. My grandson at the other table did not get his order as ordered, another person only ordered pasta so it wouldnt take so long to cook it, and one at my table had his order given to someone not in our party and they had to cook his again. We had one couple so upset they walked out because they had another event they were late for. And I went in search of a manager. Needless to say, even after given $ off coupons for the month of June, we will be taking our $$$ somewhere else in the future.

We had dinner at this restraunt last night. The wait wasnt that long and service was quick, the meal left much to be desired! Salads were amazing, stuffed mushroom app was flat (no seasoning, bland), calamari was overly gummy, crusted zuchini was raw. My husband had the same flavorless mushrooms and he also had motzerella sticks that had busted in the fryer and only 1 actually had cheese inside. The childs meal was great portion wise and the broccoli and meatball were good for him. Definatly wont be returning no matter how good the staff is. 50$ meal wasnt worth it, McDs would have had more flavor!

We usually dont eat here much and today was prime reason why. It was my husband, myself, and our 3 kids. Requested a booth. Waited approximately 20 minutes which the wait wasnt the issue. There was a party of 2 and a party of 5 seated before us in a BOOTH. One we got called we followed the waiter and was going to be seated at a table in the middle of the center dining area. The restaurant was not slam packed might I add and there was booths available. And once my husband said something about the fact we had requested a booth noone tried to correct the issue. Was just very crappy to say the least.

We recently visited Olive Garden which has always been one of favorite places to eat. The time was around 8:00 when we arrived. The greeter told us it would be a 50 minute wait. We agreed and after 1 hour we still had not been seated. Upon asking, I was told that the tables were being moved together and it would be a couple more minutes. Twenty (20) minutes later, we were told they were cleaning the tables. When asked why we were given a different story, we told, "sorry". Granted other people were entering and leaving while we watched! Needless to say, we left and will NOT be back.

The only positive thing I can say about Olive Garden in Tupelo is that the service was good. It took us over 30 minutes to get our salads and bread sticks, which were both average at best. My "Tour of Italy" entree was one to forget. My wifes Chicken and Shrimp Carbonara was tasty but had regrettable results. Both my wife and I were sick for a day almost immediately following our visit. Though the waitress was very nice and attentive, we are likely to never eat at any Olive Garden again after this experience.

My food was amazing. My boyfrined and I came to olive garden on a Saturday night and it was packed. There was about a 35 minute wait. We ordered our food which came with salad. We did not get our salad and breadsticks until after we finished our dinner. We had to remind our server on several occasions. Food was great our sever was really rude. Someone apologized because she is "kinda new." This really sucked for me because it was my boyfriends first experience at Olive Garden and it was NOT a pleasant one!

My server was Hannah. She was absolutely fabulous. Service was great. Now to the food, we had the recommended new appetizer of chicken with some kind of a marinara sauce on it. Then we had the chicken can shrimp carbanaro. We enjoyed the experience when we were in the restaurant. And when we returned home with the to go boxes we got an entire cup full of grease from the leftovers. Will not return, definitely not for the food.

We have visited this Olive Garden about 5 times and every single time (no exaggeration) there has been hardly any people in the restaurant and we have waited at least 30 minutes for someone to just take our drink order. The staff is also not very friendly. It has been an awful experience every time. We have already given this restaurant way to many chances and will NEVER go back. This place is a joke!

Ordered the shrimp scampi and the shrimp was mushy like I had been sitting in water all day plus the past it was overcooked and mushy. Its a restaurant in Mississippi so I assumed that there would be some southern hospitality but the waitress was kind of rude. Although the manager did do a good job of following up and making sure everything was OK the food was not that good

My wife, son, and I were recently at olive garden and although they messed up my wifes order they still took it off the bill. Ive never had anywhere do that before!! The waitress spoke to her manager and he actually came to the table and apologized to us! The new management is awesome! Ive eaten here many times before but this time the food was exceptionally good!!

This seems to be the go-to place to meet up with my old high-school friends every time I come back home. Not entirely sure why that is, but it always works out in a tasty meal. The salad and breadsticks are the stars of the show, but I think you have to get an entree to get them, so... I dunno, get something with sauce and noodles.

The food was delicious and was out in a timely manner. Our waitress, Anissa, was spectacular! She was very nice and had everything ready and waiting for us it seems right before we could ask. My family and I dont go out to sit down restaurants very often so it was very nice to have a nice dinner night in Tupelo. :) Thumbs up.

Our food was delicious....service not so much. We sat at the bar and our waitress/bartender was great. However, manager was hovering and trying to jump in before the waitress could do anything. A group of servers also came behind the bar to talk about another customer (not kindly). Not professional at all.
