If Im able to post a picture I will. Drive from Shepherdstown to get here because of the good ratings about service and quality which took around 20-25 minutes give or take a few. Pulled in and parked at 9:34 and the place was completely dark and locked up right. Online info from Google said their hours were 10:30-10:00 on Saturdays. Heartbreaking lol but, mostly aggravating. Largely because it was obvious that the stickers on the operational hours board on the front door had been changed numerous times. Anyway, if youre wanting good Chinese takeout on arguably the busiest day of the week for takeout, dont waste your time or make sure to call first.

Im only giving the 1 star for their hours. I called in for an order and they said no order closed for lunch. As a business, I would hope they would honor their business hours as printed and advertised. They have a lunch special that is advertised from 1030 pm to 3pm. I called in at 1, so Im just a little perplexed to their response to my call. Just a thought.

The food at China Star is excellent. The quality and the portions are phenomenal. The service is fast and the staff is very welcoming. I recommend asking for white meat chicken, of course thats my personal preference.

Tried this restaurant for the first time since moving to the area. Very hot and fresh! Food was great and I noticed that the kitchen looked very clean. Would go back again.
