Well. The location is convenient, you will not have any of the trouble finding this place or parking. The store has quite a large selection of loose leaf teas, novelty items, health foods, and many other items which I did not fully explore. It is quite possible that they have some products that are worth purchasing, but... truthfully... I ABSOLUTELY DISCOURAGE ENDORSING THIS ESTABLISHMENT. Allow me to explain. The purpose for my visit to this coffee roaster was to purchase a short soy latte. I was looking forward to trying an espresso drink to see if I wanted to purchase some beans so I could take some home. Seems simple right? I drink coffee... I have gone through this simple procedure hundreds of times flawlessly. I ordered two identical drinks. Two 8oz Soy Lattes. After starting the extraction of the coffee, the woman emptied a box of soy milk into the steaming pitcher, here comes the deal breaker... She actually had the audacity to fill the remainder of the pitcher with whole milk. I thought to myself, REALLY!?!? Who does that!?!? She tried to move stealthily and confidently so as not to draw attention to her dishonesty. I didnt not say anything, I know, it is my own fault that I drank the coffee which was not what I ordered. I was too stunned by the fact that she thought she could get away with that. Next to the coffee menu they have a separate sign advertising their abundance of milk options, but she decided for me that I wanted whole milk mixed in with my soy milk. WHOLE MILK?!? REALLY!?!? I just hope this woman recognizes that dishonesty and laziness are never good policy. The coffee was average at best. Foam mediocre. In conclusion: DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY THIS ROASTER, YOU WILL ONLY GET BURNED.

I have never had worse coffee.. I was disappointed that the island its self didnt have more options for coffee but was hopeful when I found this place! They are not your typical coffee shop. So if your wanting what you order everyday at a local stand or even Starbucks be ready! This tasted nothing like coffee, I feel I can still taste the flavor that was left behind by this so called espresso. To my surprise it was also very expensive!! I spent $17 on two 16oz mochas and a chocolate bar.. Ummmmm I am never complaining about the price of Starbucks again! The staff was not friendly and I felt I was causing them trouble even ordering coffee.. Oh well I will never go again!

I didnt have the coffee but had some awesome Earl Grey tea. That wasnt the best part about my visit. I brought my camera for our Vashon visit and we stopped in for some caffeine. I was walking around snapping the cool antiques and was approached by a staff member. I was worried he was going to chastise me for my photography. Instead, he gave me a tour of the shop and told me the story of its inception.

Best hang-out on Vashon. Locals rubbing elbows with the coffee cognoscenti. Roasted hazelnuts, maybe a local craft beer, and excellent coffee and tea choices prepared by super friendly and dedicated baristas. Watch the Islanders roll through the intersection that represents the power vortex of the SSR ofVashon-Maury here!

This place is wonderful. They have a great selection of nondairy products so their delicious lattes and specialty coffees are available to everyone. Everyone was so kind and the atmosphere is welcoming. I will be going again while I am here.

Coffee could use some work. Not sure if it w as the actual coffee or how it was prepared but I wasnt impressed. It was too acidic for me aka starbucks type flavor. However the store spice rack etc is great!!
