This is the one place to go for all your fresh food needs at reasonable prices. The fruits and vegetables are always ripe, and if you have any doubt, the staff will offer you a taste. The store brand milk, eggs and butter are less expensive than comparable items at other chain groceries. The meats and poultry are more expensive, but many are locally sourced, and humanely raised. I know I can count on the fish to be fresh, and I dont buy it anywhere else. They have a huge bulk food selection, an aisle for gluten-free, freezer cases of vegan selections, and sustainable cleaning and paper products. Do I spend more here? Generally yes, but I am willing to pay more to know that my grocer has a conscience.

I shop here regularly for most of my familys groceries needs, especially for those with any for of dietary requirement (gluten free options are especially well catered for). The meat counters are always very well stocked, and on the rare occasion that something is missing they will either butcher a fresh piece of meat or help you select an alternative based upon what youre cooking. The only downside to this location, is because of its size they are limited in some of offerings for staple like chips and cereals. But with both Alberstons and Safeway so close by any gaps are easily filled.

Um, wow. What a STUNNING NS. I could spend hours here, and on my first visit, I really just wanted to walk around and check out everything! They have a great garden/flour area, fun cheeses, good butchery, seafood counter, delicious hot food, and a salad bar. This was recently built and everything is new and clear and the staff is professional and very friendly. Wide selection and lots of fun foods to ogle and to try (blue cheese truffles!). A really great, great, local, organic, healthy grocer! Stop by here!

One of the best grocery stores I have ever used. Things are definitely more expensive for certain basic items, and are best bought elsewhere. However, their fresh food, meats, deli items, salad bar, even coffee is great...The employees are always friendly and willing to help problem solve anything you need. Weekends are lively with samples. They have great fresh breads, and a killer beer selection...Beautiful produce if you can stand the prices!

Wow, what a wine selection. Today was the first time I went to this store and I was blown away by the size and types of wines offered. There is also a little sit down bar, where one can have a glass of wine or two (the limit) and relax a bit before, during, or after shopping. An obviously well-rounded, knowledgeable wine steward works there as well. Great cheese selection too. If only I had found this New Seasons sooner!!

By far the best grocery chain in existence. I one time asked if the pineapple was ripe, and the produce manager actually cut open a fresh pinapple and gave me a chunck to try. It was delicious, he gave me the rest of that pineapple for free aswell. This store is generous. I have also witnessed the managers give homeless people free food who are near the store. The world needs more places like new seasons

+This New Seasons Hot Meal area sucks really really bad compared to other stores. ***Take a tip from the New Seasons in Orenco Station create a better food experience for Progress Ridge! Not the best New Seasons but it is a good one. I like the location and layout of this New Seasons over all of the others. I just wish they had more creativity/freedom when making their food items for sale.

Best one of the best grocery stores ever! All the staff are so welcoming, happy, and knowledgeable. Whether youre into Paleo, Vegan, Baconetarian, etc., they will know about it and can talk all about it. Great place to grab a bite, hang out, learn something, or sample some great food. Best place for local too, almost like a farmers market open everyday!

I have been to several New Seasons and by far, this is the best. Yes they are knowledgeable, yes they have fresh food, but more than anything, they live up to their motto "The friendliest store in town." From the moment I walk in there, they greet me with a smile and often a sample! I am very happy to call this my local New Seasons!

This is indeed the friendliest New Seasons location that exists. They make it comfortable to browse and peruse the interesting foods and products. They have a great cafe area with plenty of tables high ceilings, and warm fireplace. This is one of the biggest New Seasons we have found in all of Portland.

Really nice store in a nice area! Has a good selection of most things in both specialty and general groceries. Their cashiers are always friendly and commonly strike up conversation. And their meat deli folks and extremely courteous as well. My go to market for good organics and specialty products!

Beautiful new store in Progress Ridge. Staff is wonderful and the food is fresh and awesome. We particularly liked the cute little holiday spectacular of various local vendors and love that New Seasons is so much more than just a grocery store!

Service is excellent. Quality seems pretty good for the most part except that some of the food bar items seem to have been sitting out for too long. Price is higher than your typical food store but your paying for the trendy experience.

The staff are knowledgeable and unbelievably friendly. Never any lines and awesome selection of wine, cheese, deli meats, organic beauty products, locally made desserts, etc. Best grocery shopping experience - consistently!

Very friendly when compared to Whole Paycheck. There have been multiple times when they didnt have what we were looking for, but they gave us a comparable product for free as a sample. Its always very clean and a good vibe.

Nice brand new looking building with plenty to offer. The location is perfect for servicing the local neighborhoods. The location is also near many other nice places such as a movie theater and coffee shop.

This New Seasons is huge. I like the inclusion of pre-packaged meats in addition to the meat counter. Selection and service is similar to other New Seasons locations, which is to say good.

Love the organic/grass fed meat department as well as the wild fish selection. The deli is probably the best around (them and Whole Foods). Always extremely helpful and smiles everywhere.

Love this place. I have a problem here. I go in for 1 thing and leave spending a minimum of $50 haha. The people are very nice and they will let you try anything and iv mean anything.

Killer food ($6.50 for a massive plate of food, beer on tap (local breweries of course) and super friendly staff. Give this place a visit anytime you are down/up/over here!

A place to pick up a great wine and rib eye . Wine choices and good steaks are plentiful. No searching required. Easy, nice place to grocery shop.
