Disclaimer: I tried to contact chef few times via a phone before writing my review. I got reply she was busy and cant find time to get a feedback. Good things first: -service personnel is trained and trying to make your dining experience impeccable - music in the terrace creates welcoming atmosphere And now about food: - mussels were done to perfection. Fresh, soft and full of flavor - boiled ribs with BBQ sauce were a ok. - I guess you cant go wrong with French fries except they are seriously overpriced. You could get a portion of regular potatoes at $8 and no, no truffle oil or any fancy is provided to justify these markup. - burrata salad. How could you call a salad one piece of soft cheese with 2 figs? Tavern is charging $13 for this. - farro salad with side of chicken. Salad was fine but chicken itself was impossible to eat. It was tasteless and hard to chew. I had a feeling I am trying to eat shoe sole. - airline chicken aka THE Tasteless Chicken EVER. I guess it was boiled without any salt or pepper and just browned later. No spices, no salt, no pepper It was very awkward dish. They should just throw it away instead of charging $26. I know Tiburon is an expensive town and no point in complaining about price of food there. I dont mind paying a good money for good food. In my experience the quality of food served does not justify the price.

Dinner was lovely, except scallops are literally just three large scallops. No other actual food. The steak at least came with fries. Amazing flavors, but for nearly $70 a person depending on a three course spread I didnt walk away feeling full and my wallet was empty. Our waiter was quite kind even when we made a mess in the middle of our meal. But it is not worth another visit. Even the wine list was nothing short of ridiculous, offering options I later found in grocery stores at almost half the price. Their dining area is also excessively casual for such high prices and fancy food. Like, if Im paying that much for my dinner I dont want to be hearing children yelling and seeing them squirm as a family down the way is eating at their couch dinner thing. I expected a high class dinner, but I got a jumble of fancy food and middle of the road atmosphere and way too high price tags.

Not sure why Tiburon Tavern needs to lure folks in with a Travelzoo deal - if youve ever been to Tiburon youll notice that this place is actually one of the more populated spots out there. And rightfully so - the atmosphere is relaxed, youll have a modern and spacious indoor area with bar and tv screens, and a nice outdoor patio with plenty of seating and heat stands for the cooler time of the year. The setting is beautiful and makes you forget youre just a 25min drive away from the city. Definitely a nice getaway. The food didnt disappoint: both the Ribeye Steak and the Seared Trout were delicious and nicely presented on the plate. The desert was okay: my teeth had to work a little bit too much on the pear tart. I also took the opportunity to break my "going vegetarian" for Lent right here. Good choice.

Cute restaurant/bar in downtown Tiburon, a place sorely lacking in culture or activity. I think thats changing with how the new people at Tiburon Lodge and Tavern are running the place. We went on a busy night, lately its often busy. The bar scene is great, the outdoor seating is comfy and really warm (plus the added benefit of not being in the chaos of Sams). It ends up sort of a hidden gem to the SF weekenders popping over on the ferry, but you get a nice mix of hotel guests, locals, tourists, wedding people, etc at the bar.... I love hotel bars because its not about the place so much as the people. Not to say it isnt beautiful - its a very California Lodge restaurant type feel. Great place. Food is better than ever, too.

As a local I enjoy coming into the Grill bar and have a cold one. And theyre very generous by giving residence a discount. They also have a happy hour with a great menu. The bartenders are always welcoming and inviting. Both Kenny and Gustavo are both excellent bartenders. Great place to relax and enjoy.

They did a great job with the construction of this building. Its spot on! you can take the Ferry from SF and walk 10 mins to the tavern. Food was ok, could be better but we had a very nice brunch there. Mimosas are good.

This is my favorite bar in Tiburon. They have great local beer selection and do environmentally themed specials like Trash Fish Friday. The outdoor seating is great (and has heaters). The main bartender knows his stuff.

Enjoyed a very nice afternoon out in the sun with good beers and appetizers. The wine selection is also fine.

A great happy hour. Choose the margarita two fish tacos option for $12-14. Tacos are good
