Let me first start off by saying this is some of the best soul food Ive had in a very long time. My absolute favorite things on the menu are the oxtails followed by the greens, hush puppies and shrimp and grits. The oxtails are flavored perfectly and so good that I swear that they just melted in my mouth. The hush puppies are to die for and thats big coming from me because I usually dont tend to care for them but let me tell you I LOVE them from the comfort zone. The greens so delicious, I make sure I order them EVERY single time. Last but not least the shrimp and grits. The shrimp has a really nice flavor, and the grits are nice and creamy. If you havent done so yet you must try The Comfort Zone ASAP!

The Comfort Zone has The BEST SOUL FOOD in Seattle hands down. Everything was fresh and had that flavor that make you want to "Slap Ya Momma" I had fried to perfection chicken wings and gizzards, collard greens to scream for, and mac & cheese that I must admit was the best Ive ever tasted outside of my own. The service was great and the chef came out and said hello. With nice music playing the ambiance was warm and inviting I felt like I was at home. To top that all off the prices were right and fair!! I will most certainly be spreading the news about The Comfort Zone to all my family and friends. One thing they need is a sign outside theyre located inside the Royal Esquire Club. I will be back soon.

Havent gotten my food yet, but the service coming in was awesome! The waitress/server was so nice, down to earth, very knowledgeable of the menu, and her smile made me feel welcome. I already trust that the food will be amazing. I ordered the oxtails and the shrimp & grits, will post a review of those once I try them.

The Comfort Zone is more proof that you can find the best food in the most unassuming places. Had a great experience here. The pork chop and shrimp & grits were definitely stand outs. The bar arrangement is a little different but not too difficult. The service was friendly and the owner was even friendlier.

Great food and service, had the oxtails very tender falling off the bone. Rice was cooked perfect and not overdone. Mac & Cheese was perfect and the yams were very tasty. Definitely a keeper!

Food was great! The only problem was, they gave me half of waffle with the chicken & waffles meal. I ordered through Uber eats.
