Mediocre. I know most reviews are written in anger, but heres my best impartial review. Ive been to Skillet a few times now over the years, and usually get the grilled cheese or fried chicken. Tasty food with a great atmosphere. Creative dishes and made to order. But what brings me back is the service. My most recent visit was a total reversal, uptight service from some guy who looked like the owner, smaller portion sizes with the new menu layout and generally a disappointing time from what Id expect. Mediocre service with decent food. Spend your cash here if you want, but I probably will try other places in the Armory from now on.

This is a no-frills restaurant experience where you see the open industrial kitchen and sit at counters or tables in the Center House Armory. Service is minimal but friendly, and their eco-composting-recycling efforts are laudable. I had the special, pulled pork over griddle cakes with beer syrup, and the pie in a bowl dessert. They were great, especially if you like calories. The wine was fine, but the Fresca drink stood out - mint, apple, grapefruit in a frothy icy mix. I will go again. Nice place if youre very hungry.

Heard this place was great but it was a disappointment. Paid $40 for a family of three and it is not worth the money. Burger was hot and cold at the same time and the fries had a fishy taste to them. I like fish, but not on my fries. And you pay $2 for a 12 ounce cup of soda, half of which is ice and no refills. Good enough to eat once, but never eat at again or recommend. The McDonalds across the street sounds better than here. Especially since the kids meal was $7.50 and didnt come with a drink

The food was uneatable, the childs cheese sandwich was greasy and overcooked, you could squeeze the grease out of the bread. The cheeseburger was so overcooked and tough I had one bite and gave up. The fries were soggy, greasy, and tasteless. The help was more interested in talking with each other than seeing how we were doing

This place is awesome! Every time Ive been in the service was great, the food was delicious, and the cocktails always hit the spot! Though the menu changes pretty often, Ive never had a seasonal dish I didnt like. Do yourself a favor and check this spot out! Perfect for a quick bite or a date.

Amazing! I dislike bread, generally. But this was what bread was meant to be. There chicken sammie was effing fantastic. I enjoyed it with a jar of their red blend, and the soup of the day. I highly recommend this place to people looking for high quality taste.

The burger was over cooked and the fries were so salty as to be inedible. Also, when they replaced the fries they put on some kind of herb mix that wasnt very tasty. All in all, not a very satisfying culinary experience.

Found this spot while waiting to ride the Space Needle. Skillet has tasty food and a full service bar. Sneak around to the bar side to get service if you dont want to wait in line.
