Really impressed with this place. The pizza is great—you build your own from a variety of ingredients, or you can select from several well put-together regular menu options. Ive had the Jasper and the Calexico now & would vouch for both. On this most recent occasion, I waited an abnormally long time—by MODs standards I can only assume; it really wasnt that long—to pick up a pizza to-go, and a guy who I assume was a manger was not only proactive in recognizing this but also in doing something about it, including refunding my money. Honestly, there was no reason for him to do so—I wasnt making an issue about the wait in the slightest; he offered it completely out of the blue—so I found it very surprising. Its certainly a way to earn a repeat customer.

We went there twice on our trip. Great pizza and you get to customize. I had to ask what MOD stood for and it is Made On Demand. Thought it was Modern or Modular but oh well. I gave it a 4 because one snickered when I asked to add marinara sauce to my crust when I picked the wrong order and one other staff who seems to angrily slice the pizza. They also slice into 4 pieces so if you want 6 slices, especially for the kids, then ask for 6 slices. Tasty pizza and MOD should consider adding "Meatballs" as a topping.

MOD Pizza is a lot of fun. I love their sales model. Pies are the same cost regardless of how many ingredients you add. You pay before you get your food so no waiting on servers. Parking was great. Vegans take note: they have tons of veggies and Daiya dairy-free cheese. The red sauce used to not be vegan but theyve updated it to remove the dairy so now its good. The barbecue sauce has always been vegan.

Awesome local pizza place.I got the bbq chicken and it was perfect. I even lost my keys and even though they were busy, two staffers helped me look for them. Turns out they were in my pocket the whole time. Which is good, because I was in a rental, and its $150 to replace them. Covered outdoor seating, great for dates AND families--thats not an easy combo to pull off, but somehow they do it.

I wasnt sure that Id like their pizza, since we all know that (at least for New Yorkers or Chicogans) theres nothing better than either a Brooklyn or Chicago Deep Dish pizza. But I have to admit, it was pretty tasty, and there were a lot of selections, as well as a way to make whatever suits you. No matter how you look at it, if youre looking for pizza, this is pretty decent pizza.

First time here. Its kind of like going to subway, only its pizza or salads. Fast service, build your pizza with whatever you want on it, all one price. Food was good. The croutons on salad were rock hard, so I couldnt it them. The restaurant was clean. Was a bit concerned with the gal cleaning the lobby. Same towel used on everything without rinsing. Cross contamination.

Best pizza place for parents with kids. High quality fresh ingredients on everything. Here is the best part: mini pizzas with low price, prefect for kids. Main thing to praise about this place is the high quality and low prices. And the staff are all about making the stuff just the way you like it, quickly. In terms of value this is the best restaurant in Seattle.

My family LOVES this place. Our two boys enjoy the limitless toppings they get to choose on their own, and mom and I get to have our "adult pizza" with more "crazy" ingredients (i.e. not just pepperoni and cheese). Great parking given the area and the price is well worth it. We pass 2 other pizza places to get to this MOD!

I just went here for the first time. Totally lived up to the hype. The pizza was delicious, the staff was super nice, and they had Mannys on tap. Pretty much everything you want in a pizza place. The way you order is really cool too. Kinda like a cafeteria style system! Highly recommend this pizza place!

This location is close to home, and was much loved when it first opened, but service has recently decreased. I think my last pie may have taken a trip to another table - a guy before me returned one and I went home with a cold pizza. :( Didnt realize until I was out the door, but bummed it happened at all.

Mod Pizza, delicious pizza at a decent price. The beer is about $5, which is on par with most places. Seems to be busy every time I go in, but thats a good thing for a restaraunt. They dont do delivery, but you can go in and grab a mini menu to take home so you can call in and place your order next time.

Been here maybe 6 times. Every time, the staff is on it, friendly and attentive. Pizza and salads are made with tasty ingredients. And, I will say it again, the staff in the Ballard location are unbelievably focused on customer satisfaction and fueled by great teamwork.

Remember that time you went to Chuck E. Cheese pizza and you were disappointed? Not here. You have total control over what goes on your pizza. It was awesome tasting! One thing though: I think Picasso topped my pizza because it was asemetrical. Its all good though.

Custom pizza, like custom sandwiches at Subway, is a great idea, but the crust leaves a lot to be desired. This place is clean and hip, and the patio is nice to have in the summer, but its kind of noisy.

Great service, quality fresh ingredients. Load up with extras at no added cost. Plus bottled beer and 4 kinds of local beer on tap. Good place to take the family; its ok to be noisy and a little messy.

Build your thin crust pizza with as many toppings, sauces, cheeses, & condiments as you could ever want. The pizza is baked in less than 10 minutes in a brick oven. Great prices and a great value.

once you understand that MOD means modify, as in, you can modify this pizza with any toppings you like (you dont have to order their named pizzas)...and at a great price you cant go wrong here

We love to make our own pizzas here. The topping are fresh and the turn around on the wood fired pizzas is quick. Great for a fast meal and a good spot to take kids as they have high chairs!!

Tasty food, with a few beers on tap. The pizzas are delicious, desserts are amazing, and the staff is always friendly. Usually fairly busy, but service is reasonably fast.
