My neighborhood "go to Cafe", Ive been coming here since it opened (late 00s), and theyve always been about a quality independent and local experience with friendly staff, great food, good coffee (Zoka I believe), decent prices and a beautiful atmosphere. In the last few years it has definitely garnered a much larger customer base for itself, and while Im thrilled to see a quality small business like this thrive, its almost always packed and noisy these days. Seating may be difficult to come by on rainy or cold days when the outdoor seating isnt a comfortable option, and those seeking a quiet atmosphere will have to look elsewhere. These are very minor "complaints" and the reasons the Jewel Box draws consistent lines and vibrant crowds far outweigh these relatively insignificant issues. Suffice to say, Im willing to risk a wait for a quick bite or sip at reasonable prices, and I cant think of a better place for a treat or a meet up with friends.

This cafe has a really wide array of menu items, food options, in a great location near restaurants and a cinema. The espresso is pretty great, and it is usually easy to get a table. However, they require that you make a purchase to get a WiFi code which expires after 2 hours, at which time you must make another purchase to get back on the WiFi. I didnt enjoy interacting with the staff/baristas at this cafe, but the ambiance here is still worth a visit. P.S.: Do not sit near the door because theyll prop it open for "fresh air" on a freezing, winter day.

Indescribable!!! The best place to be to enjoy company or to just get an alone time in a very relaxing and comfortable environment. EVERYTHING that they have, from drinks to food.... Theyre ALL delicious and worth it. The customer service is excellent. Young ladies and gentlemen working hard to serve you the best. Its interesting because its definitely an active place with a lot of sounds surrounding me, but somehow I find it very relaxing and comfortable. DEFINITELY A MUST VISIT!!!

Use to love this place! It use to be a nice little date night restaurant with my husband but it quickly turned into: A place where one person will occupy an entire booth and surf their computer for 4 hours, A herd of North Seattle Community College kids will spend their entire night texting on their smart phones. The restaurant probably makes money off of coffee than the food items. Its really hard to try to find seating when you have the above patrons taking up wasted space.

I came here primarily for he late night aspect of the cafe. I was surprised to find that they sell boba tea. More surprising, was that their boba was on par with that of ShareTeas down in U-district. Try their Chai Tea or avocado smoothie with boba as they are excellent. Staff is friendly, but sometimes a bit slow when the movie/dinner crowd comes in. Finally, the atmosphere is cozy and good for having a conversation/reading a book when the aforementioned crowds are not in.

I love Jewelbox for its ambiance. There is a cozy area by the gas fireplace, with comfy armchairs and couches surrounding a big low coffee table that can easily fit plates of food and a laptop. There are accessible plugs for said laptop, and side tables for coffee cups. I come here all the time to work because it is so utterly comfortable. The flipside is that a lot of high schoolers like the ambiance as well, so sometimes it gets loud.

The coffee has gotten better in the last year. Less acidic, better flavor. If you order a Cappuccino, be aware they make theirs *very* milky. Its hard to tell the difference from a Latte, and the foam is pretty thin. Food is still fine, but a little shy on flavor, or perhaps just unbalanced. Original review: Good atmosphere. The coffee is really acidic, but their tea is fine. Sandwiches are big, but a bit too much bread.

Great find with a fabulous atmosphere, top-notch coffee and friendly staff. The cafe has worked to solve the problem of freeloading laptop hobos who take over whole tables for hours. A password is issued with purchase, good for two hours. After that, another purchase. A step in the right direction--and, if necessary, I hope they up the ante: minimum purchase of so much per hour or two hours.

Crew is very friendly. Food and drink are delicious. Cost is reasonable. Good location for a bite before or after a flick at the theatre. Youd never know it was there otherwise. We generally go there to avoid high cost movie food. ;) They also have a covered outdoor patio too. The inside is dark wood with a fireplace and plenty of seating. I recommend. :)

It looks good and it is teying so hard to be a cafe. But it is only busy because there is nothing simular in Northgate. Espresso shots were a bit bitter. Savory Crepes were middle of the road. If you are alredy in your car keep driving to at least 3 other creperies south of here. Oh and i agree the WiFi sucks here

A pretty pretty cool coffee shop that you order at the bar and they deliver to your table if you want the food. They serve a lot of Crepes which I found pretty tasty. The crowd seems pretty good, college, business, people that just live in the area. I didnt little bit of work while enjoying the view. Nice look.

We were sitting in front of the Crepe making station, and noticed that they forgot to flip the crepe after they left it for long time, thus making it hard when we eat it. After 2 years of recommending people to come and try the crepes, i might actually change my mind now.

My partner and I go here often. The drinks are delicious and the crepes are fantastic. My favorite thing by far though is actually their meatloaf baggett. They are popular and normally have a short line. Ive had issues finding a seat before but Ive never not found one.

I had a white chocolate mocha from here. While it was like a dollar more expensive than most places it was also the best damn coffee I have had in my life. Made both me and my partner audibly "oh my god" at first taste. I think it made me a happier person. 10/10

I like the vibe and ambience here. I dont drink coffee, but their tea selection is decent and they do a nice London Fog. I really enjoy the back room that is cozier than the main room seating area. Its a great place to get away to do some studying or work.

Very rude. Coming here I expected a little bit more nicer customer service. I wont come back. Why would somebody ask me to clean my own table after we tipped? No offense your hired to work. Not hang out. The ladies are rude. Find new employees please.

A little bit of everything from coffee to loose leaf tea, bubble tea, and even crepes with a gluten free version. The seating is small but cozy with an eclectic collection of armchairs and a couch as well as stool/bar style and booth seating.

A hidden gem in what is an otherwise bland looking set of condos and shops. Nice selection of crepes, sandwiches, coffee, bubble tea and smoothies. Its close to the Thornton Place Cinemas so you can pop in for a bite before or after a show.
