Dont let the outside of this place scare. It is the best Chinese food in Seattle, hands down. First off, the woman who runs the place, Jenny, is the best. She remembers you, and your family after one visit. If youre a regular, like me, she even remembers your order. I HIGHLY recommend the House Special hand pulled noodles. They cost a little extra, but its worth it. I dream about these noodles. I can never finish an order in one sitting, and they reheat beautifully. The honey walnut shrimp is also really good. Im not sure whats in the honey sauce, but its addictive. Ive also enjoyed the beef and broccoli and the sesame chicken, which are great. But order the noodles. No really. Order the noodles. Order them.

Not really much to look at on the outside but more than makes up for it with the food. I called up and ordered the house fried rice and Mongolian beef. It was a take out order and she said the food would be ready in 15 minutes. That was fast, which is a positive. Arrived at the location, it was empty and to be honest didnt really have the greatest decor. But the woman who gave me my order was really really nice. When I got home I sampled the food and it was great. The portion sizes were also more than generous. My total for an order or house fried rice and Mongolian Beef was right at $20 which was awesome considering it was enough to feed 3 people. I will definitely be back.

The service is terrible. We came in one day to dine in an hour before closing and she seated us. Then she came to the table and told us that she wanted us to do a take out since she wanted to leave early. We said that it was all fine and we could do takeout but then she changed her mind and said she wanted us to eat here. We were the only ones in the restaurant and yet it took close to 45 minutes after ordering to make chinese stir food. When the food came out finally it seemed like she was going out of her way to bang the plates on the table and kind of shove the plates around. We were not happy at all.

Portions would differ from time to time. Never consistent. Lady needs to stop saying THANK YOU sooo many times on things normally you wouldnt say thank you. Forgets one of my orders and insist that they were working on it. Hmmm.. After 20 minutes after I get part of my order I take a look and see the cooks just standing... Yeeeeaaaah about that, they are not working on the last part of my order. Did I mention they were just LIGHTLY STIR FRIED STRING BEANS!!!. Never the less, I still go here causer it has been a place over been going to for over a decade since they were at LAKE CITY

Absolutely delicious. Not your average American style Chinese place, these guys are super authentic and the effort shows. Everything tastes lovely, the veggies are crisp and fresh, the fried items arent greasy and nothing is heavy or over breaded. My favorite dish from this visit is the Beef and Snow Pea, where the peas were beautifully crisp and crunchy, the beef nicely cut and tender, and the sauce was a rich garlic-savory delight. Definitely a spot I plan on coming back to in the future.

Fushen is fantastic. Several months ago we ordered takeout and loved it. Today we went there for lunch and had General Tsos chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and egg rolls. They were all very delicious. The service is fantastic, the woman who works there is so kind and friendly. The outside of the building isnt very appealing, but its lovely and cozy inside. This is now my favorite Chinese spot in the Seattle area, and I am looking forward to visiting Fushen regularly.

Probably the friendliest owner Ive met. Jenny is great and the reason we keep coming back. Our favorites: 1. Broccoli beef Very good, the broccoli was fresh and crisp though the beef was a little chewy. 2. Cashew chicken Decent, needed more spice and had a vegetable I didnt recognize but enjoyed. 3. Bbq pork fried rice The BBQ pork is done in house and very tasty. Overall very happy and will come back. Just wish they delivered.

Tried this place on a whim, looking for some decent traditional Chinese food in north Seattle. I ended up trying the Hot and Sour Soup, Orange Chicken, Broccoli Beef, Honey Walnut Prawns, Fried Rice and BBQ Pork. Everything was good - not mushy, not overcooked, flavorful. The soup was a little on the bland side, but everything else was solid. Wont blow you away, but it definitely hit the spot.

I have been coming to fu shen for a long time. It is a family owned restaurant and the family is just as awesome as their food. They have amazing food, great atmosphere, and always make you feel welcomed. I have a big family so we do the family style dishes so a little pricier but worth it. Their lunch and dinner combos are just as good. If your looking for authentic Chinese food come here. :-)

The service was terrible. We waited for 2 hours to get our food, while other tables were getting several plates of food at a time. The kitchen was making takeout orders the entire time and only gave us our food after we had complained 3 times. The food was nothing special, and definitely wasnt worth the wait. Come here if you want to wait 2 hours for mediocre food.

Jenny is THE best hostess/waitress/owner you will ever meet. They take great pride in their food and the proof is in the taste. I love their hot and sour soup and their potstickers are amazing. The general tso chicken is also up there. But my favorite thing to get there is either the spicy bbq pork fried rice or spicy chicken chow mein with the homemade noodles. FTW

This place is SO WONDERFUL!!! I cant even contain my excitement by typing like a normal human being because IT IS SO HECKIN YUMMY!!!! My sister and law love to share their orange chicken (extra crispy) along with their >>>perfect<<<< house made noodles and a side of steamed veggies. All I can say is that if you are on the hunt for delicious food, FU SHEN ROCKS!!!!!

This family restaurant took a last minute order from us on New Years Eve. They were smiley and sweet and served us Chinese when every other place closed. My boyfriend and I will definitely be going back because the food was delicious! The woman who helped us at the front desk was amazing to talk to! Very friendly.

We just had dinner there. The food wasnt even hot. It tasted like they served us left overs. The waitress never came back to ask us how the meal was. Definitely not deserving of the 4.3 stars rating. I would give it a 1. We will not be going back there. Very disappointing!!! :(

Great, plentiful food, service was stellar and very pleasent. I had the shezhaun prawns, which came out delicious. My only complaint was the 4 star I asked for came out as a 2. Thats an easy thing to fix. Overall, one of the best bang for your buck Chinese joints in the city.

Absolutely the best Chinese food Ive had the pleasure of having since Ive moved to Seattle. Nothing in that area has really compared. Ive gone here almost every weekend as a result. Their salt and fish fried rice is absolutely fantastic. And their Mongolian beef.
