I hate trashing on any business but this was not a good experience for us. The location is conveniently in the scariest part of Everett Ive ever seen. I was almost mugged and it was horrifying. Anyway theres stains on the walls and popcorn ceiling, it had an awful smell, and there were FLY TRAPS COVERED in flies hanging above the register. There was an older Asian looking woman sitting in the back who I thought worked there, when we walked in she straight staired at me for 5 minutes without saying anything. Finally the waitress came from the back and pointed us towards a table. We waited 45 minutes for two bowls of won ton and we were charged 40 dollars and refused a recept. I honestly dont know how this place is in business, I found hair in my food as well. After 45 minutes we said sorry but we cant wait anymore were leaving and she yelled for us to wait. So we waited at the front and at that point we got our soup 10 minutes later. Very scary, very dirty, VERY bad customer service. I have worked in customer service since I was 16 so this is not meant to bash their business its just my pure honest opinion, and I was very put off. If heath inspectors inspected this place theyd be shut down for sure... Oh and Im pretty sure they live on the other side of the restaurant...

Not your old Peking Duck. Reviews do not take into account that this place, what used to be "Peking Duck" is now Town Story. The new ownership has redecorated the interior, expanded the menu, closed down the lounge, and improved the food. The remodel make the inside more comfortable and bright (at a budget) for not having any windows beyond the one by the cashier. Closing down the lounge is a good strategy for removing the sketchy characters coming in through the dining room. The menu has more options but pretty much kept all the classics. The food still serves huge portions family style and their lunch menu (M-F only) is still very inexpensive (at less than $7). While so far I have only ordered the brocoli beef and the General Tsos Chicken, I might never have to order anything else again because both were excelently executed. This has become my new favorite in Everett. I really hope they keep up the high quality experience and not fall victim to unflavored food for the sake of the few complainers. I will have to say that I was disappointed with their spice level. At the max 5 stars it felt like a 2.5 star dish but most people dont like spice as I do

I have never dined at Peking Duck. But I went on line and looked at the menu then called in to place an order for delivery. Because they were close to home and had been in the area for many years, I trusted that the food would be good. I ordered for 3-4 people, and replaced a couple of dishes with something everyone liked. When the food was delivered the dishes came in one person containers, definately not enough to feed 3 to 4 people, so I personally drove to Peking Duck and asked them to make the order right or give me my money back. "They Refused both choices" We waited for the manager for over a half hour. My son and I were the only 2 people in the restaurant besides the blond lady and the coughing guy wearing his slippers, both I might add were very rude and hid out in the back room and ignored us completely. We left the containers of food in the white bag they were delivered in by the cash register and I took my receipt and we left. Very poor customer service, and I hope they are happy with that. I cant really comment on the food, because I havent ever tried it. The decor was fair.

Best of both worlds, healthy and fryed choices. We got a flyer on our door and thought the mafia was out to get us :)) since we never saw people going in or out of that restuarant. We ordered delivery and were shocked by how good the food was and have been a fan for over 2 years now. The prices are good and the selection large. Inside its a really small restaurant, nothing fancy just servicable. Took my nephew here for his bday and he loved their sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, etc. There are not many employees or else they are making deliveries, i dont mind keeps the prices low. Try their fried carmel bananas! Then their theses tiny triangle piece of fried chicken that i think is wrapped in a cheese, its like condensed chicken flavor, if i dipped it in Buffalo sauce id be battling with my roomie over them. This place is a delightful surprise and they remember you. Not fancy or arogant just a good variation between authentic and american chinese.

It was OK. I dont know if I caught them at a bad time but their food all tasty very "chickeny". Granted, I ordered two dishes with chicken in them but fish isnt good when it tastes "Fishy" and the same principle applies to chicken. They have pretty good ratings so Ill give them the benefit of the doubt. My parents both really liked their lunch combos and the soup I had would have been really great without the aforementioned overwhelming chicken flavor. The service was good and the server very polite. I do like ice with my drink though and this place was freezing. Even the server was wearing a jacket that looked like she was heading out for a ski trip. The building itself is kind of a cave but they bought it from another Chinese restaurant and its hard to put more windows in a place like this. Ill go back and try it again some time. Hopefully it will live up to the other reviews when I do.

This is the best Chinese food my family and I have ever had! A friend told me to order the black mushroom bok choi, and I had a huge shrimp craving at the time. I asked if I could add shrimp, which they said wouldnt be a problem. When it came, it was absolutely perfect. Ive never been to a restaurant the didnt overcook their seafood, which is a pet peeve of ours. Service is great as well, we were welcomed warmly, attended to just when we needed it, the whole 9 yards. Highly recommend! Also as of last week there is new management, so I find some of the previous reviews irrelevant. It is a beautiful and well kept facility. (Theres even a fish tank!)

Ive tried a number of Chinese places in Everett during the past 15 years and been constantly disappointed. The food around here doesnt hold a candle to my hometown of SF. But Town Story is the wonderful new exception to the disappointing past experiences. This place has classic, perfectly prepared, delicious Chinese food thats been consistent the past three times weve ordered. Theyre friendly and offer good coupons too- free items depending on how much you order if you pick up. So happy especially to see green onion pancakes on the menu and love their take on stir fried broccoli as well as the string beans. YUM.

Worst CRAP Chinese Ive tasted. The person that gave it 5 stars must work there. We ordered for delivery tonite and it took over an hour and 15 minutes to show, Mongolian Beef medium Hot. How about BLAND BLAND BLAH. Like it came out of the package. Worst Ive ever had. Orange chicken. Hard Crunchy small bits of chicken deep fried to a crisp. Sauce was NOT orange sauce. Pot stickers YUCK. Greasy and nasty. Broccoli Beef. Over done beef and Broccoli over cooked to mush. Fried Rice tasted 4 or 5 days old. Avoid at all costs.
