We had a wonderful time there. The cocktails ranged from simple to layered and complex in taste, the staff was incredibly helpful, and the food all arrived without much waiting. Both the lamb and the stuffed trout were extremely flavorful as well as beautifully presented, and the desserts were of the perfect size and incredibly rich. Were already planning on going back to try the fried chicken which looked amazing when we saw them walk by with it. In addition to the food, the interior is both minimal and beautiful with so much history behind the bar pieces and the paintings. My only complaint is that the seats along the wall arent very comfortable and seemed a bit stuffed in (were both quite tall); well try not to sit in that area again.

I liked B & H. Located at 70th, east of 15th ave. on a side street in Ballard. I thought the staff was young, helpful & pleasant. We sat at the bar and had the garbanzo flour bread appetizer with olive tapenade, feta & tomato on it. It was tasty. We shared a dungeness crab salad with a spicy edge to it that was a little too spicy but still really good. We finished it all. The bartender seemed to know his liquors and how to mix them creatively. He was nice to customers. I had the Pachuca, a short, stiff tequila & bitters drink w/ pineapple and grapefruit. It was delicious. My husband had a prosecco and negroni that he enjoyed. Nice environment & I will order an entree next time.

Id stopped in there to get some good local grub while I was apartment hunting and ran into this treasure of a place. They have a less than conventional menu but they were there to explain everything in great detail (doing it great justice). I received my beer and my bacon and eggs on steroids and smiled with every bite I took. They take an incredible amount of pride in their cooking, rightfully so. Best thing was the guy taking my order, Avery. He made the experience personal, answered every question I had and even gave me hefty advice on the best way to find a place to live around here. Good genuine staff, and exceptional eats. Solid 10/10.

Something so simple.. yet incredible. We heard of this place through friends for breakfast/brunch and they had really hyped it up. Upon waking in, very cool dining area. This huge painting and a cool wine rack, so far so great. Looking at the menu, everything seemed very simple. Things you think you could make, but no, not a chance. The potatoes were cooked to perfection, the eggs were so fluffy and the corridor chorizo added a great touch. Even the toast and Apple butter were out of this world. If you are in the neighborhood, give it a go.

We went for brunch and found this place to be very charming and comfortable. If you like to watch the kitchen work then sit at the chef counter and enjoy the show. We found that the service was very good. Attentive but not overbearing. The food was good and very filling. A stick to the ribs kind of food. We found the potatoes good with a good season on the outside but with good potato flavor on the inside. All in all we will go back to eat here so we can find out what else is good to eat.

Another great farm-to-table restaurant with a creative, delicious (if a little expensive menu). The staff are amazingly friendly, and knowledgeable about both food and spirits. The chefs let the food speak for itself, allowing natural flavors of local fair to come forward, making it a delicious experience. A must visit place for a special occasion or a date night treat!

The menu is fantastic, but not so vast that you can decide. The food is out of this world, I have been multiple times and never been disappointed. Always save a little room for dessert too. When friends and family come to town its one of the first places I take them to! The staff is very friendly and a blast to chat with :)

Stopped in on a Friday night without a reso, and were seated at the kitchen table (really a bar overlooking the kitchen.) Expert advice on selecting a wine, great meal, attentive but not overbearing service. At the kitchen table you can watch the plates being prepared and order what looks good!

This is by far our favorite neighborhood establishment. The food and the service are fantastic. I would highly suggest going to dinner with a group of friends and trying as much as you possibly can. Then head for brunch the next day. The braised boar is to die for! Go!!

Ive had dinner and brunch here, and Ive been blown away on both occasions. The food is prepared expertly, and the staff here are as good as it gets in the area. The restaurant has a great vibe, and the drink menu is killer to boot. Highly, highly recommend you make a visit.

Waters were refilled before we received our mediocre "specialty" cocktails. The baked bread appetizer was dry and boring. One entree the potatoes werent cooked all the way. The other entrees au jois was extremely salty. Not a very good showing for a new establishment.

Best brunch Ive had in Seattle hands down. The service is impeccable and the menu is straight forward. The potatoes are to die for and they accommodated our group who added members after reservations without hesitation. Wonderful restaurant and well worth the price

Great food and fun wait staff. He really took care of us and gave us recommendations we loved. I had the Roasted Banana Brunswick Biscuit and the flavors were amazing, Id recommend it to anyone. Sit at the Chefs Bar!

Brunch here is amazing. Hands-down some of the best bacon and potatoes Ive had. Bloody Mary was just the right amount of spicy. Great atmosphere. Would be a perfect place to go for a first drink on a date.

Excellent, unpretentious food and cocktails. Spend but worth it. Service was attentive but not overbearing. And the space is inviting and comfortable. Our best dining experience in months.

Exceptional food and well-crafted cocktails. The air conditioning doesnt keep up when it gets hot (90°F) outside, so its not the best place to escape the heat.

Walked in on Mothers Day. Sat in 5 mins to exceptional service, a killer Bloody Mary and a delicious, artisan meal. So good!

The steak frites was more like steak shoe string fries. If youre gonna call it frites, give me frites. Steak was "meh".

Food was great. Waiting to be served was pretty horrible. Luckily I was with good company otherwise I wouldve left.

Good food and for the price of paying the directness of "farm to face" then worth a dinner with family and friends.

Flying under the radar, the food, drinks and service at this neighborhood bistro is some of the best in Seattle!
