I have fallen in love with this place. Its a nice cozy restaurant and bar located in downtown Puyallup, but the food seems straight out of Oaxaca. The customer service is terrific with the entire staff working together to take care of customers. Waitress busy with food orders? Then the bartender will come take your order. They make you feel as if youre an honored guest in their home. Food dishes are expertly prepared and plated very well. Im a big fan of their Mole Oaxaca, but all of their food has been wonderful. The salsa bar is nice too with a decent variety of salsas, from mild to "thermonuclear". Ok, maybe not that hot, but I would not recommend it for the inexperienced. They also have a wonderful bar with a great selection of tequilas and the staff is knowledgeable about the subtleties of each which means they can offer the perfect one for your tastes, even which one makes the best margaritas. This is a great Mexican restaurant and fun place to grab dinner. You wont be disappointed.

We went to celebrate our grand daughters birthday. I had called earlier to see if they had Queso dip. They did. But - it was nowhere near the $6.50 they charged for it. We all had a taste and left it there. One of us ordered tacos with no beans - rice only. The tacos arrived with no rice - beans only. But, other than the queso, the food tasted good. The service was okay - but not spectacular. I would not recommend this to my friends. And I would not go there again. I consider it to be adequate.

The food was great, but seating arrangements are lousy & not kid friendly. With limited seating expect to wait forever on busy nights, and once you finally get seated, theyll rush you on making a decision, if your not ready your put to the end of the line. Towards the end of dinner we had a large plate of nachos the whole family was sharing, they picked up all our empty plates along with all our fresh napkins, utensils & left us with nothing! Ill give it another try without the kids at a slower time.

The food was great. I had the Pechuga de Pollo Asado. The grilled chicken had good flavor; it was moist and tender. It was topped with grilled & caramelized onions and diced tomatoes. Kim had a quesadilla with carnitas which was enough for a meal. The portions are definitely worth it. Only slight knock was their drinks. Kims strawberry margarita was made with a generic off the shelf mix. The staff were friendly and responsive.

Best Mexican food in the Puget Sound Area! I have never done a review before, but this restaurant is worth it! My family comes here once sometimes even twice a month! The street tacos are the best thing on the menu! My husband loves the super Fiesta burrito! My kids love whatever we order! Also, the staff is so friendly and kind!! I recommend this place to everyone!

Took forever to even get menus and a basket of chips, drinks another forever. Thinking food was never coming, we asked for a refill on chips--that never came! The check arrived at the table faster than any other item. Fortunately the street tacos were awesome. Maybe a little more help in the dining room, guys?

Two stars for the music; the only authentic part of this experience. Anyone saying this is the most authentic Mexican food theyve had, either has never truly had authentic Mexican food or is lying. This coming from a Mexican born individual who knows what authentic Mexican food really is. Spare yourself.

Service was rushed, even though it was completely dead. Didnt ask if we wanted soft drinks. The two servers spent more time chatting at the bar than actually servicing my family. This is NOT authentic Mexican. Taco Bell tastes better... spent $50 on dinner for 3 people. Waste of time and money.

Wow, finally a restaurant in downtown with great food and excellent salsas. They have a salsa bar so you can choose your intensity and tastes. The bar is well stocked and it is very comfortable. Prices are the best in town. So glad the changed managers and revamped the old restaurant.

This place claims to have new ownership, but Im quite certain it is the same. They still continue to get your order wrong, you have to ask several times for drink, for refills, and the food is mediocre at best. My food was lukewarm and the hard taco was soggy. Avoid this place!

The food here is amazing. I moved to Puyallup about a year ago and it was absolutely the best place to eat ive found in this area. Service is quick and friendly, and their menu has many great options. Definitely worth trying and going back to.

Great and authentic Mexican food. Wonderful and attentive service. The only reason I didnt give them a 5 star is at the of the night they turned off the music and turned up all the lights rather than just politely telling us they were closed.

My husband and I were in town for Christmas and decided to go out for a date night on Christmas eve. This place has delicious food, the server was kind and attentive, and the general energy of the place was fun. I highly recommend this place!

I called in to make an order, and asked that burrito have no sauce or cheese on it. The guy on the phone said "it was too much work for the cooks"... it was too much work to add less sauce/toppings? Good food, horrible customer service.

Tiny food for big price. i ordered a Chimichanga and the guy brought out a chimi the size of my f-ing thumb. i thought i was on that hidden camera show "Blow ur Lid". Never spending so much as a dime there again.

Best Mexican food in Washington! Amazing salsa bar, endless chips to go with it, and bean dip to boot. The street tacos are amazing, especially the grilled chicken. The staff is super friendly, food for everyone.

Great mole. Best I have had outside of Oaxaca. Service is great and they even have mezcal tequila. The only downside was the carne asada wasnt cooked very well and had a lot of gristle. Would eat here again.

Best in Puyallup, the salsa bar is good, pitchers of margaritas for $20 are awesome, great prices on street tacos. Also the fajitas are yummy! Service is good, we definitely stop in often.

The People, the Food & the prices....all are great. Love that we can use the Salsa bar to conjure up different combos to try which includes 4 salsas & a bowl of onion & cilantro.

Great food, excellent service but can get a little stuffy when its hot out. Need some air flow or some fans. The food is authentic and delicious and the staff is always so nice.
