It was... ok. My guests food was good they told me. We shared a Chicken wonton app that was very good, the white rice was very good. My food was awful. I got a chicken and vegetable dish. The chicken tasted as if it has been boiled to death and placed in the dish at the last minute. The veggies and sauce tasted and smelled like propane. My guest tried it and winced at the flavor. I would have given it a one, for that dish, BUT the waitress took it off my bill immediately and offer to cook me a new one (I declined as I was in a rush). And again all the rest of the dishes were ok... to very good. It is a great little spot for people watching as well. You sit right on the busy corner and watch the cars and people bustle buy. I usually give a place 2 tries before I write a review, but Im not sure I will be back.

Ive been eating at Mekong for years. Its one of those place you take someone when you want to be sure theyll enjoy their meal. On my most recent visit I had the #2 combination dish. It consisted of an egg roll, Chicken Phud Thai and curry chicken with rice. I shared a huge fresh spring roll with a friend as an appetizer. Because of that I was able to bring the curry chicken to work for lunch today. Our waitress was amazing. Dont expect upscale dining, just real good food.

The curry I ordered tasted good but was three dollars over the price of the menu and would not be corrected by them. We ordered fried scallops which is also on the menu and ordered it to go didnt check the bag drive to the hotel realize there are no scallops. Horrible customer service when I called back saying they dont have that on the menu and that my $22 is for two items. Bullshit . Contacting the Better Business Bureau

My favorite thing about Mekong is that its the perfect place to eat either alone or with a group of friends or family. The employees are kind and brief not constantly hovering over you. They let you enjoy your meal and the food is always great. The portions are large excellent for sharing and theres almost always leftovers! The prices are fair considering how much food you get. I recommend #36 and a Thai tea!

Always great food and service! The BEST peanut sauce I have ever had...hands down. The only place to go in Olympia for good Thai food. Have been going there for years and have always had a great experience. Family owned makes it even better :)

Not sure why this is called a Vietnamese restaurant. Its a Thai place....and a pretty good one. Not the best Thai place, but it gets the job done if you are in Olympia and crave some good ole Pad Thai noodles!

I tried this place because Lemon Grass was closed and it turned out to be very good. It wasnt quite as good as Lemon grass, but their lunch specials were good and their service as well.
