We got there and it wasnt very busy except for a couple groups, but were told that the kitchen was very backed up. They brought our drinks quickly, but when they took our food order we were told that they were out of almost every Scottish dish. If we had known this before we got our drinks, we would have gone somewhere else. They also let us know that they were out of knives, but would try to find some for us. We never got any knives. After we ordered, we waited about an hour before we got our food. The waitress brought each plate out one at a time with the appetizer at the end. They also forgot part of my order. Meanwhile, the table next to us ordered one of the dishes we were told was out, and they received it all within about 20 minutes. At the end, it took a super long time to get our checks. And finally, my drink had way too much lime in it.

The service was slow, that would be okay but it didnt stop there. We were told they were out of every Scottish dish, and about 20 minutes later the table next to us ordered the food we had wanted but were told they didnt have anymore. Then they ran out of knives and I had to cut my enchilada with a fork. The table next to us also got their food twice as fast as us and were offered free cake, we werent even asked if we wanted dessert. I feel like if just one of these things had happened I could forgive it but it was one thing after another, and we clearly were not as important as some of the other tables.

Took absolutely forever to get our food to us. For a while we werent even sure if our waitress remembered we were there because we didnt see her for probably 40 minutes. And then started getting our food 20 after that. When we got our food it came out one plate at a time. There was a long period of time before each person got their plate so by the time the last person got their food the rest of us were almost done. Then when we asked for our checks our waitress dissappeared, so after 15 minutes I asked what appeared to be the owner and got our checks 5 minutes later.

I always love Georges (the Scotsman from Scotland) recommendations for Scotch, and if you dont know what you are doing, thats okay, just ask George the correct way to taste. The bacon wrapped dates are amazing. My favorite slider is the home made jabanero slider. (Its not that spicy.) And if you have 25 minutes to wait, you can try a baked Scotch Egg, which is the only place Ive ever heard of one, and it is delicious if you love eggs and sausage. Great place for wine and Scotch!

A little slice of lovely right next door! Try the bacon wrapped dates (you will need two orders)... the magherita pizza...or Fridays - enjoy wonderful chicken curry. Soup is home made, staff is always friendly and there is live music Friday and Saturday nights. Outside seating (even with heaters for those chilly evenings) and a plethora of tasty nibbles or libations to satisfy everyone!

Work lunch, so no drinking, but menu offerings looked great. I ordered the BBQ pork and my boss had the Chicken Stilti(?) salad. Perfect lunch serving size, quick service and very flavorful. We both felt satisfied until the bill came; then we were ecstatic. 2 great meals for $16.55! Give them a try.

I called the restaurant after they were closed because we live next to it and there was s lot of noise outside in the parking area. it was after the Mukilteo curfew of ten oclock. I was surprised but the owner answered and was very nice and listened to what I had to say.

Some slow . Many times they came and asked if we are enoying the food, that sometimes I feel is annoying, not salt in my steak pie at all so I didnt care much about the taste, but my man food was chicken enchilada which was pretty yummy. Overall not a bad experience.

My fiancé and I had lunch here. It was amazing food!! First time we tried haggis and it was delicious! George is a wonderful host/owner. He taught us the proper way to drink scotch. We cant wait to go back and try the dinner menu. I highly recommend this fine bistro.

Absolutely love this bistro! Very fantastic and most authentic Scottish food I have found! The owners and staff are so helpful and nice every time we go! Definitely recommend this place! I come from an hour and a half away and go here every time Im in the area!

Just got an email chain at work about credit card numbers being stolen from this restaurant. Multiple confirmed instances such as the whole party having to get new cards and this being the only location that a card was used at for the month. BEWARE.
