For starters, this is not an authentic style Thai place. Limited popularized menu items appealing to the American pallet. No Whole fish items. No fresh menu items except the green papaya salad was quite good but lacking in items to add at table except the slab of cabbage which you have to cut yourself with a steak knife of all things. I searched for literately 40 min for something on the menu to order because I wanted authentic style cooking. They bring you a house clear soup when you sit down and is ice cold by the time you get to eat it. Should be brought to you after you order. I told them to take it away I did not order it. No traditional condiments available, nothing at the table, only served flatware which was a red flag from the start. Pad Thai is the tomato ketchup style not the authentic tamarind paste, vinegar, sugar, and fish sauce mixture. They actually said it is ketchup. I know there is authentic tomato base pad thai, but not made with ketchup. When I asked about this 1st thing when I sat down was the next red flag. The Wide flat noodle dishes, noodles were overly greasy and gummy and not pleasurable as they are when cooked correctly. I would say it rates lie the Panda Express of Thai food as a good analogy. The third red flag is they had no paper towels in the restrooms and was not very clean. The person waiting the table was not helpful as to make accommodations for things people wanted. I also over heard the people two tables over complaining everything was too sweet and having to order and reorder 3 times saying dont use the sweet. Like me I guess they wanted the sour more than overwhelming sweet. Other people have rated the place had way too much fish sauce and could smell it walking in. There were maybe 6 tables with people eating and with that much food on tables when I walked in did not smell fish sauce. Also the amount of fish sauce on the green papaya salad, was the correct mix. Lots of sauce but balanced with vinegar. Mild refreshing and fish saucy but not overwhelming. I would not recommend this place if you are looking for anything remotely close to what you would find at the sit down lunch places on the streets of Thailand. But then I have not found any place in the Mill Creek or 3 mile area around this place which is better.

My wife and I had a urge for good Thai. When I say good I mean its a challenge to find really good restaurants in Everett. There are a handful, but still hard. After reading the reviews, we decided to try Thai Bistro.. and were pleasantly surprised. We had two dishes. Chicken Red Curry and Seafood Passion Sizzle. Theyre served in dishes for sharing. It was a perfect amount for two, but I wish I had a third dish to try and maybe take something home. The curry was outstanding. We ordered 3 star which wasnt as hot as we thought, just remember not to be afraid witht he stars. truly amazing. we wanted to lick the plate but too many people were looking :) The Seafood Passion Sizzle came out as expected...sizzling. Although we were disappointed because this dish didnt have a sauce, it was prepared perfectly as described, so dont shy away from it if you like meat and veggies with some spice but no sauce. We just like thai sauces. ok.. down side. The place has a romantic, mellow atmosphere and very warm. Excellent date place. The only things was we were seated near the door and it slammed close throughout the evening, which took away from my wife and my romantic evening. 2nd.. there was some kids in the far corner that were loud. Im leaving this as 5 star as it was no fault of theirs and if there was more stars, i;d be rating higher based on that curry .. mmmmmm This will a staple restaurant for our nights out. --Ken

I almost wanted to give them 5 stars... This place is a hidden gem tucked away in a Mill Creek strip mall next to a QFC. Thanks to Yelp for helping us discover it. The food was tasty, price was good, decor was done well and service was fair. We can late on a weeknight and the place was about half full. They seated everyone near the windows which showed me their restaurant savvy. The place was clean but dimly lit. We were greeted and seated promptly. They had an expansive menu which included a modern twist to traditional thai. Prices are in the lower to mid teens but you get your moneys worth as the dishes are slightly larger than standard. We had the massaman curry, pineapple fried rice and pad thai. Their food has clean taste and cooked just right. It is easy to over cook thai food. The fried rice was a little on the oily side but still tasted good. I would recommend all. Service seemed to be good but we were not checked on very much so we had to ask for water refills. It seemed like the regulars had more attention. Overall, I would recommend giving this place a try. You might even end up being a regular and give them 5 stars. Oh...and remember to print out the $3 off coupon from Valu-pak before you go.

I cant say enough about this place... I live down the street from the restaurant and Im thrilled to have found such a great place... Im a HUGE fan of Thai food and Thai Bistro is the first Thai restaurant I tried after moving here recently. I will likely not go anywhere else for Thai food after eating here. The staff was friendly, helpful, efficient... they seemed to predict your every request. Not to mention the food... DELICIOUS! We had the Beef panang, chicken pad thai, a couple of Red Hook beers, and a fried dish that was very tasty. Give this place a try... youll love it!

A friend of mine had their fried rice recently, and recommended the food highly, so I decided to cave in and give the place a shot. I got the lunch combination, Chickens with Cashews. Turns out, not a good choice. The soup and rice were decent, but I imagine those to be hard to mess up. The chicken as extremely bland, the veggies tasted like flowers to me, and even the cashews barely had flavor. The pad thai was so-so, but nothing to bring me back in. I wouldnt recommend the Thai Bistro, prices are too high and the food is not good enough.

Waaaaay toooooo much fish sauce. I know its standard, but I bought some of my guys a few entrees for dinner tonight. Overkill on the fish sauce. When I walked in I smelled fish and figured it was some other patrons dish. Got back to base, stank, stank, stank. Went out to truck to get phone charger.....stank,stank, stank. Tried the food.....fish,fish,fish,.......if you know fish sauce it certainly isnt a "fresh" flavor. Too bad, this place was good the last time I went.

I recommend going here for lunch over dinner. For lunch, they provide you with a complementary soup and ice cream sample on top of whatever you order. The lunch specials are not the best but priced right (Note: Their lunch combo Pad Thai is sub par in my opinion). However, their menu items are very good and worth spending extra on. Good Tom Yum soup, larb, rolls, dumplings, and duck. Their curries and Thai Tea are what bring people there. Try them for sure.
