I am transferring this over from another review site where I used to be active..this is my own review. After having come here for years today was disappointing. They charged us for two drinks when we inquired the manager/owner lady rudely informed us this is "This is a restaurant not a fast food place" . The same woman goes over to another employee and we can hear her laughing and insulting us. Let me say I have worked in many restaurants, free refills are industry standard. This includes five star restaurants. I also happen to work with many a chef and the behavior we experienced today was atrocious. Needless to say we ended up throwing out our left overs, because if you have the guts to insult us and let us hear it, then how can I trust you not to do something rude to my food. Once upon a time this place used to be awesome, now its not, portions have shrunk and the taste has slowly gone down. Generally we like to support family type businesses but when you insult myself,my husband in front of my seven year old child you loose my business.

Warning! I was skeptical about getting food from this place, due to the mix reviews. However, I do not like to judge a book by the cover. So, I ordered pot stickers, chicken & broccoli, Seaweed soup and egg rolls, followed by sweet and sour chicken. 1. Pot stickers (soggy) yet some what tasty inside. 2. Chicken and Broccoli (bland and slimy chicken,broccoli okay). 3. Seaweed soup. Color and decent looking. Taste...no flavor and way over cooked. So disappointing! since Im a soup lover. 4.Egg rolls. Very oily, generous portion of cabbage inside. Too bad the smothers the flavor. 5. Sweet and Sour chicken, should be renamed to extra extra soggy sauce chicken with extra sauce. Here is your friendly warning NOT to get food from this place. I should have taken heed. I wasted $45.00 and unknowingly put horrible food in my palate. Never again!

Best pot stickers in town. We searched for some time to find our new local Chinese when we moved to the peninsula - that was 6 years ago now, and were still regulars here. They will occasionally have an off night, but overall the food remains great. The staff are fantastic. As locals now, we walk in and they basically know our favorites - they also look after our kids really well - true family environment. Dont expect the decor to be five star - but then again, you come for the food, and not necessarily the ambiance. We love this place, and continue to frequent every week or so. Thoroughly recommend.

Was there last night with family. The lamb we had was tough and grisly. I ordered stir fry duck and it was mostly all bone with not even a mouth full of duck. The fried shrimp wasnt spectacular either. I live in Grand Forks North Dakota where the Chinese food is really poor, and I was hoping that Yat Sing would be much better than back home but I was extremely disappointed by what was served.

The food is ok but they are scammers. They will bring you the bill with the total to be paid only (Not per item). The bill has an extra line for adding tip but they already added a 15% tip to the total without telling you or specifying it on the bill to trick you to pay them double tip.

My favorite Chinese restaurant. They do special orders without a problem and are always very friendly. Including the other Yat Sing by the freeway, Ive been eating at Yat Sing for 28 years with no complaints. Oh, and the food rocks!

Delicious potstickers and hot and sour soup- pretty average Mongolian beef and snow peas, although I will note that the ingredients were nice and fresh. Overall, a great neighborhood spot
