first off we have been ordering food from here for years and before that it was our parents. over the past couple years it was got worse and worse. last night though was the last straw. we ordered food at around 3pm before the dinner rush, so i figured we would be getting really fresh food. i was mistaken, it was the worse chinese food i have ever ate. worse than day old safeway chinese food. the food tasted like it was made 2 days ago and had been re-heated a couple times before we even got it. not to mention the food got to us in like 20 minutes and we live about 10 mintues away. but somehow the food was cold when we got. it was all rubbery and chewy and just disgusting. my wife called and spent like 20 minutes argueing with them which they ended up blaming eat24 the online ordering and delivery service they used. we contacted eat24 and they were awesome and gave us a full refund. avoid this place at all cost.

My husband and I have ate here quite often for over 6 years, and prior to that his family ate there since the place opened. My husband was very close with the previous owner Jason but ever since he left, this place has gone down hill. Weve been on the fence about still ordering from here due to the quality in food dropping, but weve continued to do so because its what we know and the food isnt necessarily terrible, its just not what we used to get. The service is absolutely horrible now. The new owner actually dissed Jason (who is his cousin) and told me if I mentioned his name again he wouldnt deliver to me. This was the last straw and we will not be coming back. Its unfortunate because we used to love this place. Its amazing what new ownership can do to a once fabulous restaurant...

It depends though. If you like more meat, go to China Garden. If you like a really unique style of chinese food; with more vegetables and a lighter sense to it, try Golden Dynasty, just a mile or two West of China Garden, on the NE corner of the Meeker/Washington intersection (in the strip mall with Baskin Robbins). China Garden does have a lot of meat, but they also seem to cook their fried rice in some fairly old oil. By constrast, all of the stuff from Golden Dynasty has a fresh, light flavour to it. China Garden is traditionally americanized, overly greasy chinese food. Golden Dynasty is something new; and better.

The food was delivered early however the guy at the door literally shoved the bags into my hands and walked away..... When I opened my food I had no hot mustard or sesame seeds for my BBQ pork... Whats the point of the BBQ pork then???? Also I ordered a combo lo main and all I got was noodles, no meat at all. I will never order from here again. All the food was very bland. I ordered medium spice on my food and nothing had any spice! Or flavor for that matter.... I wished I had spent my $60 on pizza instead of this disappointing meal...

I dont know what has happened to this place over the years but last night was the last time I will ever order from this restaurant. It used to be the best Chinese food at a very affordable price. They must have changed owners. The nice Asian family who used to own it must have sold because the Almond chicken is now the worst I have ever tasted. Same goes for the flavorless, dried out pork fried rice. The service was marginal too. I picked up a take out order and could not have felt less welcome by the two Caucasian girls working there.

These guys just edged out Tasters Wok to become my favorite Chinese food in the North End. The prices are very reasonable, they deliver and the service is excellent. My family and I love all the food. Weve had the Almond Fried Chicken, Egg Fu Yung, Chow Mein Noodles, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Mu Shu Pork, Won Ton Soup, Egg Rolls, Broccoli Beef, Egg Drop Soup, fried rice and BBQ Pork and its all been top notch. I cant believe how many years I drove by this place and didnt try it. What a great find! All the food is fresh and tasty.

New to the area and have been a few times now and was pleased overall. Last night went in there and the place was freezing cold as if the air conditioner was running on high. When mentioned to the young lady that owns / manages, she giggled and did nothing about it. Heavy coats stayed on to finish dinner and others as well had on coats and hoods..........no lie! Shame they think nothing about their customers comfort while trying to enjoy a "hot" meal. Very displeased!

Im not quite sure how they have less than 4 stars. Excellent food, excellent service, excellent delivery. Now I understand. Their staff has gotten deplorable. Their food is constantly under cooked. And youre definitely not interested in spending the effort of Telling them they messed up because they dont listen. Also, charging extra to replace a little bit of one vegetable over the other on chow mein is just stupid.

They ripped my friend off for 400 dollars and wont do whats right to get it back to her account! They hit too many digits on the debit machine but wont take the time to write a letter to her bank so they can replace to money! Awful way to treat customers, if you ask me, when they make mistakes they wont help return 400 dollars!!!!!!

This restaurant overcharged my friend $400 and has refused to help straighten out the issue with the bank. In this economy, its sad that a company would take so a huge sum from someone in error, hold onto it for so long, and not help resolve it. I will never eat here again. Bad business, bad ownership, and horrible morals....

We stopped here on a whim one day and if it were closer to my house I am pretty sure I would visit again. The service was quick and the food was very good. We had lunch specials which come with soup, egg roll, entree. It was very filling, had wonderful prices and was very tasty. My toddler ate his whole plate which he rarely does.

Absolute Slop !!! I made the mistake of ordering delivery, jeez it was awful. The chow mien was greasy with a few wisps of cabbage and nothing else not even flavor. The Kao poa chicken was a watery black mess with 10 peanuts, very little meat,celery and no flavor.

I ordered about 50 dollars worth of food from this place, half of the order was incorrect. When i called them to tell them about it, the lady on the phone called me a lair and was screaming at me. Very unprofessional, kinda sad i used to go to this place offten.

A good ol neighborhood local Chinese restaurant. The food is on par with Americanized Chinese food. They do have vegetarian entrees and will accommodate vegetarian requests. Food 3.5 Service 3 Decor and Ambience 3.5 Cleanliness 3.5

I ordered general tso and it was an ooey gooey mess of overpowering sauce and spongy chicken. Based on the off-texture and flavors, Im fairly sure it was microwaved leftovers... Ive had better at safeway or really terrible Chinese buffets

Food was OK. Noticed from menu that they do put MSG. It was too late for as to ask NOT to put MSG. It would gave been better if they have a bigger warning font or they would do away with MSG like other restaurants.
