Just stop by and come experience actual Pizza. SAHARA PIZZA makes their Dough in back everyday. NOW THIS IS AWESOME! Pizza crust comes in Handtoss, Thin or Thick crust. Thr Dough choices are now Original dough, Cheddar Cheese dough, Garlic dough and Garlic Salt diugh. The Ingredient is literally in the dough ball that they make. Even though the Dough comes Only in 12" or 8" pizzas, I got all 3 and they gave discounts with out me asking. I ask why a discount and the staff just said we love our customers and would love for you come back and try more. The Best pizza on Mercer Island and Seattle Area. Also, The Gluten Free 12" crust is my favorite. In addition, why choose just one type of pizza, Sahara Pizza serves half and half pizzas, even quarter pizzas so the whole family is well satisfied. Go daring and try quarters of different kinds of Gourmet Style Pizzas which is called a Sampler Pizza. Furthermore, the pasta is amazing with any style of sauce and toppings you desire. Serving great appetizers, my favorite Garlic Breadsticks, Cheesy Bread add pepperoni or real Bacon if desired. The Dessert Sticks are addicting. The salads are made right in front of you which are the Garden salad, Caesar Salad (add chicken if wanted), and my favorite Greek Salad with Tzatziki Sauce. Cant forget the Firewalker Wings, Smoked BBQ Wings, even Honey Bourbun, Teriyaki, even just Plain Wings. Grab a menu and everytime Sahara Pizza makes aware there is no waste of time or effort, save the coupons, Everyday value! The staff is always moving, service is fast and friendly. This is a family owned shop on the Southend of Mercer Island. It would seem that they would need more employees seeing the images on the Northend Resturaunts and Businesses. Not this staff, Sahara Pizza knows how to make Perfect Pizzas while multi tasking and working as a team together. Just come watch! THIS This is my favorite place to be and watch workers work. It might seem far, not at all because it is so close it only takes 10 minutes to Carryout. Sahara Pizza always looking for motivated Local individuals to serve their community. Sahara Pizza has always Donated to the Mercer Island Community including schools, chruches, public events, private events, PTA, to all the community. The Manager is always welcoming feedback by calling the store line, email, text, and even able to always reach him on his cell phone. Very pleasant and great experiences knowing that anything that is needed for our occasions, Sahara Pizza is always there. The Best thing... try a personal for Lunch, 8" Personal 6 slices pizza for $5.99 What ever you want on the menu or build your own. $4.99 1 toppings. DISGUSTING AND FILTHY.They wipe the counter tops with DISGUSTING FILTHY rags that have been used for days, for FACT I know this. Then they prepare your food on those countertops. The manager smokes and handles your food without washing hands, other employees too. They talk to customers like they are "idiots" when all the customer wants to know what the specials are. Ive found a hair in my cheesey bread. A semi-long curly black hair. I notice there are never any female workers there? Id imagine it can make a woman uncomfortable, especially when you see one of the guys working there checking out your Girlfriend. I have a friend who works there and he told me how the dishes dont get washed? only Sprayed off with hot water. Same for the trays that they make their dough in. They are disgusting and filthy. The General manager broke a glass jar of jalapeno chips and still saved the jalapenos, Later that night my Friend that works there made a pizza with jalapeno and ended up eating "glass crumbs". All they are about is "saving/making" money. Customer service is Crap so is the manager! He didnt give my churchgroup any discounts when they ordered over $300+ worth of food. And I know they have a "25% off" deal. I know they made batches of dough with Buttermilk that sat out unrefrigerated for at LEAST 3 hours. The makeline that holds the food barely works. You can see the cheese curdling together from it being too warm. The General Manager named ANTHONY also yells at his employees. I have witnessed a lot of these things happen.

My brother in law recommended this place after he came through Cle Elum. We were in town so we stopped by. It was 100f outside and we were a little off put by there no being air conditioning. We were told there would be a 30 minute wait because he had a big order. We didnt have anywhere else to be and despite the heat, liked that it was in the middle of a small charming part of town, so we ordered and waited. The pizzas were really good and it was worth the wait in the heat. There were plenty of toppings, plenty of cheese, and you can tell that a lot of care went into our pizza. No spots without cheese covering them, and they dont cheat on your pizza by putting it in the oven half way then pulling it out before its cooked all the way through (like just about every chain place does). You can tell the crust is hand made by the great texture and flavor, and the sauce is perfectly tangy. There are some other places in town that have pizza, but I doubt we will even bother trying them with a place like this in town. We will be back, this place is easily one of my favorite non-gourmet pizza joints.

Everybody likes their pizza a different way. If you like your pizza a little undercooked, haphazardly thrown together, and with way too much cheese, this is your place. Our usual order is a 1/2 veggie, 1/2 cheese pizza. It would be nice if they would just store this in their computer as our preference. Last time we ordered, the cheese half ended up with pepperoni on it. And most times there are vegetables thrown onto the cheese half, which my daughter hates. What ever you do, avoid the nights when they have fundraisers for the schools. Its a nice gesture, but youll wait forever for your pizza and it will barely pass through the oven. Youre better off just giving a buck to the school.

This place sucks. I worked here for awhile with my cousin and its terribly run. The pizza is mediocre and they dont even chop up the artichoke hearts when they put them on pizzas. Personally I would take my $ to Pagliaccis instead for some good pizza rather than hump down to the south end of the island. Oh yeah and Anthony yells at everybody for the dumbest reasons and is one of the cheapest people Ive ever met. He held my tips from me for 3 months. Oh and he threatens to fire everybody but he doesnt have the guts to do it.

Staff is friendly and always fast at getting your order done and done right. best pizza on the island especially the chicken bacon ranch (my personal favorite) but they also do costume and gourmet pizzas. all of the appetizers are delicious also the garlic bread sticks are addicting as well as the wings offered here. recommend anyone to go and try delivery or carry out the staff always makes sure your experience is there is fast and easy.
