Well where do I begin?! Driving past Renton, pizza was suggested...I gladly obliged. Upon reaching the shop; I noticed the monkey smoking...I on the inside prayed it wasnt what I assumed it may be. NOPE! It has such an awesome Sci-fi comics/adventures throughout as decor, cozy funky little joint. I didnt really know what to expect. I ordered my own slice with my likings [Provolone, Argula, Cherry peppers, Jalapeños, and sun-dried tomatoes]...it was AMAZING!!! We also the Buffalo wings for appetizers AND fried cauliflower [which is the best Ive had thus far]. I ordered Sprite but they had something better made with cane sugar. It is safe to say I am HOOKED and will definitely return soon. Staff was awesome as well. They do have a bar and lots of different unique flavors of drinks. I use to always stick to name brand chains if you will, but as of lately, these hidden gems in our neighborhoods have turned to be jackpot. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed!

We went there on a Saturday afternoon before the dinner rush. The only seats available was a 6 person booth. It was just my wife and I so we sat down. 5 minutes later a group of seven people come in and later they asked us to move to a different spot. So we moved to a different spot that opened up. We ordered a Pizza and a blended drink. I got the drink and they ran out of whipped cream so it looked a Lil sad when they gave it to me. It was a PB&J flavor and it was pretty good. I was expecting a milkshake but it was more like a smothie with ice chunks in it. 15-20 minutes later we got our Pizza it was kinda greasy for a cheese pizza. The crust was burnt and Rock hard. They offered ranch and real parmasian which was nice. They at least took 10% off of our bill for moving seats. Cons: Greasy, burnt, average pizza. Blended drink with ice chunks. Pros: good atmosphere with sci-fI themed artwork and decor, friendly staff.

Do try the Fried Cauliflower and do get the Pear Salad. The cauliflower is made fresh, and its noticeable in the taste and texture. The Pear salad is far more gourmet with a contrasting sweet from the julienned pear slices and the salty from pieces of toasted cashews, basil, for the perfect amount of tang from the gorgonzola, pecorino, and lemon vinaigrette. This is one tasty salad. Ive heard so much about both the salad and the fried cauliflower, and Im glad I tried them both. Its not just incredibly tasty but filling, too. I had my usual Ginger Beer that I have with all my meals, as it is a favorite, but their version of the Moscow Mule is great, too. Also, if you check-in on Yelp, while in the restaurant, youll get a 10% discount off your order. The food is so very delicious, and the gentleman who brought us our lunch is very professional and made sure we were all satisfied with everything. Great experience and great place.

This is a kitchy little joint with class and energy to match a locally inspired pizza and pasta menu. The beverage selection, though limited, also reflected the "step above the rest" ambiance. But wait for it... Order the pizza and be prepared for a taste sensation you would have sworn was a lost art! Hand crafted thin crust with artesian toppings all baked in a brick fired oven. Spectacular!!! (...and reasonably priced). Setting is appropriate for special family dinners or intimate nights out with that special someone who you want to impress with your taste for taste. Beware, however. I predict this place will soon lose its "best kept secret" status before too long.

3.69 Stars....What a cool pizza place, creative good food and nice people. The Art on the walls was the kick for me. The pace is decorated in Sci-Fi not the largest selection but done with love and placed well. They are truly trying to be amazing. They also throw down a good pie. I had Nova Supreme quietly ingredients and proof the Spice does rule the known Galaxy. This place is populated with sci-fi nerds and artist after my own heart. The topper for me was the homemade Ghost Pepper Italian Gelato it was the perfect amount of heat and a great flavor. Keep up the good work. Ill be back.

The first time my buddy and I went to Smoking Monkey I really didnt know what to think of the pizza I got..it wasnt bad it was just different...since then we have gone back twice driving from South auburn because their pizza is just great...its definitely your "normal" pie...the staff is awesome and obviously take pride in the pizza they make...they also have gelato "ice cream" to me..my buddy was the tough guy and tried the ghost pepper gelato and he loved it..,my advice is give The Smoking Monkey a try..you wont be disappointed.....

I just moved to renton and pizza is my favorite food so always looking for a new regular place to visit. Ive been to a few places around town and this is by far the best tasting Pizza Ive had in such a long time. The slices are decent sized for an inexpensive prize. Innovative new flavors, interesting choices for desert and beer, an all around awesome place to eat. The decor is nerdy and super cute. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I definitely found my new home away from home.

Absolutely terrible pizza if you want a hawiian pizza with cinnamon and almonds this is your place..i honestly dont know how this place is sooo highly rated the crust is doughy and burnt on the bottom and the cheese smelled rancid and the entire pizza in general was terrible ..worst 40 dollars ive ever spent..i never write reviews but this was so bad i had to..if you are a hipster and you like wierd food that no one normal person will ever eat this is your place

Best Pizza since Rome! I havent had pizza this good since I was on vacation in Rome. Seriously. This place blows the common pizza places (Dominos etc) out of the water and even handily beats the better pizza places (Pagliacci etc) in my opinion. The Quatro Stagioni and Norton are fantastic. I also highly recommend the muffaletta if youre in the area for lunch. The prices are very reasonable for the quality.

This place was great! They serve pizza by the slice and you can pick your own toppings for individual slice. I had pepperoni and a slice with chicken and roasted garlic. the garlic itself was a bit dry and appeared to be flakes of some mix, so this was a bit disappointing. The dessert option here is fantastic too, with homemade gelato served in 3 scoops. I had two mango and one marshmallow scoop, very tasty.

Food was delicious. Price was reasonable for the amount you get. The appetizers were larger then expected and we were pretty much full by the time the pizza came. The pizza we very good we got the Nova something it was supposed to be hot or spicy. I would rate it around a 2 in hotness. It was very good. Staff was nice and helpful Atmosphere is pretty cool Price is average Will eat here again

I was told this place was the best in Seattle, I havent had warde pizza. If this is the best Seattle can do it needs to stop trying. It only get 2 stars because the staff is friendly and it has a cool vibe going. I cant give it more then that cause the pizza was just subpar. Go to the grocery store and buy your favorite frozen one and youll be fine.
