I found this place thru this listing when I needed a place near my friends work for a quick bite during her lunch hour. It is a small, cozy place and we were greeted by a lovely woman who took our order from the chalkboard menu and actually brought our order to us at our table when it was ready! My grilled cheese on 9-grain bread was yummy and it came with a free bag of Lays potato chips, and my friends ham and cheese on twisted bread (based on the reviews recommendation) looked good as well. When we were sitting enjoying our meal, the same person who took our order came up and gave us 2 homemade cookies! I told that she just became my new best friend! This positive review is my way of thanking her! :) My only gripe is that they didnt seem to have any lights in the rest rooms!

As in a restaurant, the only sound that should be noticeable are sounds made by crowds of happy customers, not blasting music from their speakers, to makes things worst, blasting music that are not in English ... Honestly, how many people would enjoy & appreciate that ? I understand thiss a small family own restaurant, I am not asking for an atmosphere (relax and amazing) like Canlis. When a restaurants playing music so loud thats giving you a headache and you cant wait to leave, most people dont bother to complain but just simply stop going to the place.

I grew up in Miami and my family is Cuban so I was very excited to have a Cuban restaurant so close to where I live. The service was excellent our waitress was very attentive but the food was disappointing. I had the Cuban sandwich and it was fine, the pork was bland and definitely needed more garlic or citrus, or both. The yuca fries were delicious as was the aioli. However I would have preferred to dip the fries in mojo which would have been much more authentic. I had very high hopes for this place so it is possible that I was expecting too much.

Weve been going here since Mr. Ortiz bought the place, and it has just gotten better over time. He is a typically loud and friendly Cuban, and he brings his bigger than life personality into this unique gathering place. Between the great authentic food, custom rolled cigars, frequent Salsa lessons, one never wants to leave. Ive taken his special Monster Cuban sandwiches out to friends and family, and they always ask where they can get more. This place is not only homey, but a home run.

The food here is always incredible. From the sandwiches to the entrees have never had a bad dish. And no matter what the soup of the day is make sure you get some because it is delicious! Its always more food than you need and the flavors are indescribably DEEELICIOUS. I came to this place once for lunch and now I am hooked! The Twisted Cuban Cafe is definitely a gem of Washington let alone Woodinville. And the owner, Julio, is very nice, always friendly, and there is a top-notch guy!

Love/love the food from the Twisted Cuban Café! I met the owner and his wife at a wine tasting festival Woodinville---and so loved his food...that I never left his booth! Then, we got to speaking about cigars...he told me about the cigars he sells on his website---then went over to his truck and he gave me as a gift...a beautiful smoke! Sooo...amazinggg Cuban food in my right hand, a great cigar in my left hand...and my glass of wine on the table---it was a perfect moment!

This is one of the great places the Woodinville hides so well. Fantastic meals and reasonable prices coupled with super friendly service, on my first trip with my kids they were hooked too (rave reviews of the Italian sodas). The Twisted Cuban is super tasty, but I have to give the fried pork with rice and beans the gold star. The entire place has a great, unrushed atmosphere, inside or outside, with families, couples, solo eaters and bikers all chowing in convivial food bliss.

The service was really slow and chaotic, but that was nothing compared to the disastrous Cuban sandwich. The meat seemed to have been cooked several times. It was dry, grey, and unseasoned, with a really terrible flavor to it. Like an old wet sock or something. I tried this place because Id heard wonderful things. I wonder now if these people just dont know what food is supposed to taste like. I wont be back.

Place and food good! The older man the server that works there he has been working there for a while I beleive, but he is rude and feels as if he doesnt like his job or just plain bad customer service. And this not only comes from me but other co-workers who have gone here before. This place could really be better with a person who knows about making people feel welcome.

Oh man, this is a dangerous restaurant for me. I was raised in a Latino/Filipino neighborhood and got a lovely surge of nostalgia eating here. The maduros and yuca are just like I remember, and the staff is so friendly. The regular menu is already very affordable and the happy hour deals are even better! Now that I know its here, Im probably going to gain a few pounds!

Twisted Cafe has really good food. The place is new and remodeled. Its a good atmosphere, confortable, clean, layback and of course with wifi. The food is good and well done and cooked. I"m satisfied and glad I came and check it out. I highly recommend it and its one of those things where you will come back to try the rest of the menu. COME AND CHECK IT OUT!

The food at Twisted Café is pretty good. The main problem I have with it is the value. For what you get you are better off going some place else. The sandwiches are small and you get nothing else for the price. I go to other sandwich places in Seattle and I get a lot more food for the same money and just as good. Dont get me wrong. The food is good.

Twisted Cuban Cafe is a hidden gem in Woodinville. Authentic Cuban food is difficult to find even in Seattle, so twisted in Woodinville was a very pleasant surprise. The food is delicious and flavorful. The staff is warm and welcoming. Seriously, come here eat delicious food and dance salsa every other Saturday.

Having a Cuban mother and being raised in Latin America, I was raised on authentic Cuban food. So I can tell you that this is the real deal. I love this place. I can get authentic Cuban food, an incredible mojito, and a hand rolled cigar. The price is good, the food is great, and the staff is super friendly

Coming from South Florida to WA, I never expected to enjoy quality Cuban food again. I was wrong however once I discovered Twisted Cuban. Their food is not only delicious but comparable to the same Authentic Cuban food Id enjoy in South Florida! They also have a Cigar Lounge for any of you tobacco fans.

Stopped in with a friend on a Monday around 2pm for lunch. The owner (Julio, I believe) was working the tables. Sandwiches and bean salad were really good, and once the other guests left he took time to talk with us for a while about the cafe and about Woodinville. Great experience, well be back soon.
