Its not DONs anything for about a year now. Its the Portside Cafe. Oh, and its blue instead of yellow if youre looking for it. The Portside is everything I expect in a good small town cafe. Its spotless, with very friendly service and a menu very big on breakfast, with a lunch menu holding a nice selection of sandwiches, burgers and baskets. What I didnt expect was fresh house-baked French bread for the sandwiches. I opted for the grilled BLT and loved every bite. Crisp delicious bread from the grilling and good bacon. It hit the spot.

The food here is quite delicious, and the servers are friendly and helpful. The prices are just so-so, but still make it worth a visit. The portion sizes are plentiful, and the pigs-in-a-blanket were great; I cant recommend them enough. As a side note, expect the pancakes here to be more like crepes. Theyre extremely good, but might not be what some would expect.

A humble fishermans diner with good prices and portions, early hours, and all-day breakfast. When they saw I had a dog waiting outside, they gave him a sausage and water for free. The ladies are friendly too and I was able to charge my phone and get on WiFi. Theyre "WY FI Available" signs are a little humorous, but as a quaint diner lover, Id gladly come back.

We visited based on other reviews. Breakfast was ok but not great. Not much atmosphere. Prices were a little high for what we got. Even the coke I ordered didnt have the amount of carbonation Im used to. A MUCH better choice in the area 5 min away is Lauries Homestead in Long Beach. You may have to wait in line but its worth it.

Paid for the sea food scramble breakfast, had smoked salmon, oysters, cod, shrimp and was by far the worst pile of dog crap I ever eat. I wouldnt recommend this place for a dog to eat at. Gave me horrible gas.
