I think I gave this place four stars, just because it is local and I have to represent the community. Overall, I think my personal experience with it is more a 3-star variety, as in the food here has typically been nothing special for me, but In fairness, that may be because I have an alternative diet (no grains, no dairy) and that limits my choices. I had to mix and match to get something I wanted. I am pretty sure that I would have appreciated an inventive salad option, but that is not why most people go to Mountain View in the first place. Their breakfast and diner food is definitely 4-star: graciously-sized, rich portions, not exceptionally greasy comfort food. I was not disappointed by their multiple types of Benedict or their cheeseburger. I dont particularly favor their fruit pies, but their cream pies (banana, coconut, chocolate) are mouthwatering.

Dinner portions are enormous and pretty tasty. The soup is good but didnt really have the homemade taste to them and actually tasted premade. Beer prices are very good (3.75 a bottle). I didnt have room for desert though they looked tasty as well. Overall, I would recommend stopping by here after a day on slopes or trails with an appetite. Wait staff was also very friendly and attentive, though it probably helped that the place was only half full when we stopped by.

We picked the right day to go, Wednessday at 1 30pm. They were running a special buy one burger, get the next burger half off. Excellent food, excellent service and a very clean establishment. My husband and I will be making the mountain view dinner a frequent stop on our way over to Chelan. I was really disappointed in myself, because of being full, I couldnt try their decadent peanut butter chocolate mouse pie, next time.

My friend and I have stopped here for breakfast several times and are always stoked about it. The food is always really good and the waitress (who always seems to be the only one in the place in the early mornings) is very friendly and gives excellent service. If youre headed up or over the pass then definitely stop here for breakfast.

Service was ok, the food was edible but mostly tasteless. However, it did sustain me until I found ice cream to eat. We didnt bother trying any pie after we had the food, even though the pie did look pretty good. I should note that none of us suffered any ill effects, it just wasnt very flavorful.

Ordered the fried chicken, got served the chicken fried chicken so I told them it was supposed be the fried chicken fried chicken not the chicken fried chicken fried chicken, got half off the chicken fried chicken and bought some fried chicken. I really like chicken so it worked out.

Its a very clean establishment they have good food work staff is pushing people to have radar so its just all out right now but itll taste even stop in and have a good clean decent meal and that was a great place to stop and eat

We showed up 10 minutes before close if that and they let us eat. Steaks were excellent. The waitress entertained our 3 year old though he was super hyper. Everyone there was great. Definitely go back if Im that way again.

It took forever to get seated. Honestly I was getting ready to walk about just as some one finally acknowledge us and got us seated. The food was pretty good though. They are just overly busy and understaffed.

We were traveling through and stopped by for dinner. The service was very bad. The servers took care of locals first, even though we were there before them. I wouldnt recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Big burger for cheap, fresh food. The drink price is a tiny bit higher than the average diner at 2.75, but the refills are free. Its very clean inside, and the staff is nice.
