The flavors of all the food was too strong and not to my liking. My salad appetizer was drenched in a very sweet dressing that was loaded with vinegar. "The FourLittle Pigs" pizza had rich meats, with an abundance of sauce (both below the toppings, and drizzled on top) that was just too much for my liking on such a thin crust. The added heat from the peppers just made it even worse. Finally, the bottom cake layer of the "Chocolate Decadence" was the one of the driest, most tart and unappetizing cakes I have ever had. In all, I though the meal had very unbalanced flavors, and the only part I truly enjoyed was the bread and butter I was served as I was seated. I will not be returning.

Me & the wife have been coming to Bella Bru since we bought our house in Natomas in 08. We lament the fact that theres only one original waitress left over from when we 1st went there. Id say the quality of food and desserts is still high. But service is a bit more inconsistent. Especially if were seated in the patio. I seemed to have to have the bus person fetch the wait staff to fill waters, take our initial order, or have them just follow up re if we need anything else. I would say our recent experience was not horrible, just our bar was raised by our 1st few yrs of going there. Recent Waffle Experience service remind me how Bella Bru service use to be

Waited an hour for our food, only for my fries to be cold. The waitress, Taylor wasnt friendly or helpful. I asked for the sauce not to be on my burger, it was. When the lady brought our food she asked if we needed anything else, I asked about my refill since I had be been waiting 20 mins on it and she said Id have to ask my server. She flopped the bill onto the table and my sisters drink refill. Our food wasnt all that, it had no taste, even with the sauce tgat was left on the burger. The soup was delicious and hot. The silverware was dirty and it wasnt just water spots. I will not be returning here nor telling people good things about this restraunt.

A Spacious and comfortably shaded patio welcomes you to this delightful experience. The open and very comfortable seating inside (while still fairly private) makes you feel right at home. The menu offers a broad range of familiar items with an upscale influence. There is a great beer selection--my Newcastle was served with a frosty pint glass. I have had breakfast and lunch selections. Breakfast never disappoints and can get real espresso drinks (real good too). Today I had the chicken roulade. It was extraordinary and tasted like I was eating at a five star private restaurant. Dont miss this place! Moderate prices and fantastic fare.

Loved (past tense) Bella Bru for years until management changed. Their wine list most definitely changed(cheap, subpar selection) The waiters/waitress attitudes towards customer has changed, service is closer to borderline bipolar, somedays servers are nice, somedays servers are not and Im treated like Im bothering the servers. Question, whatever happened to consistency. One last thing, the bar area is bigger than the kitchen..This is Bella Bru not Oshima Sushi! 7 years Bella had my loyalty, not anymore. Im done!

Few options in Natomas. So they really see themselves as fancy and above the costomer. So when you have a bad expirience, its really bad. They couldnt be bothered to give us menus let alone take our order. When we got menus, they came with dirty looks from the bar tender. Who needs that?Another time, they charged us a cover fee for a band, even though we ordered food and drinks! Ludacris. Please someone open more options in Natomas so that places like this will have to shape up or ship oit

I really like bella bru and the food is usually really good for breakfast, lunch and dinner but I feel the service is ALWAYS slow. I just waited over 15 minutes on the patio until I saw a server, and its been about an hour and I havent seen her since I ordered. If I wasnt catching up on work and saw 15 minutes had passed, I would have left after 10. Sadly, this isnt unusual for this place, its always a wait to see a server or to be greeted by one, especially when you sit on the patio.

Best of the very local options for breakfast - breakfast menu is excellent and well-priced, but lunch and dinner are dead mediocre from a menu POV (tuk tuk the white-person-Thai place in the same mall is a better choice). However service at Bellas is truly bad - so casual it almost doesnt exist. Ive been about six times over two weeks, gotten ignored on entering, hustled on the bill, etc etc. Inside the TVs are too present, air con is super cold, generally loud, etc etc.

Lets see: missed item on order, manager didnt even come to say anything, the waitress had to. Overcooked the prime rib on my prime rib Benedict. Didnt fill up water, yet filled up everyone around us. Didnt get gf a requested plate for tea. Menu prices kinda high for what you get. But Im giving them two stars cause when we said we were in a hurry to leave they took the check and card right away. Dont order their prime rib unless you love to chew.

Very busy place for a good reason. Food, service and management are amazing. I dont usually write reviews but this is a hidden gem. We recently visited Saturday evening July 15th on a very hot, very busy, live music night. Although it was extremely busy evening the staff and manager on duty still made us feel at home. Food is consistently delicious, staff is attentive, and it is always hard to decide which dessert to have.

They have an open kitchen, yeah! I recommend that you sit at the bar, order the veggie omelette with the homemade pesto and enjoy their coffee while you watch the cooks prepare everything to order using fresh ingredients. We went for Sunday breakfast, the place was absolutely jammed but the servers were keeping the orders moving. We didnt have to wait long and everything was perfect. They bake their own bread too.

Service was excellent! Its not mentioned on the menu, but they offer gluten-free bread for your toast. Their jam/jelly/preserves options could be expanded to include more than grape jelly. It would also help if they placed expiration or preparation dates on their to-go baked goods. They dont know if their giving you yesterdays or last weeks rice krispy treat. Sadly I was given last weeks.

Bella Bru is an interesting restaurant. While the food, drinks, and desserts are all excellent, the service leaves a lot to be desired. This is one of those restaurants where you need to be prepared to spend some time not seeing your waiter or waitress for a while, but is still worth the visit because the quality of dishes is fantastic.

Walked into Bella Bru for breakfast/brunch on a whim, on the drive up to Tahoe. Wasnt expecting much, but wow, this place blew me away. The portions were fair for the prices, service was prompt, and the food was excellent. The steak and spinach omelette was good, and the hollandaise sauce on their egg benedict is stellar!

Enjoyed the buck wheat pancake with my Morning Breakfast"! Surprised but very happy that country potatoes was included! Yvo loved the crab omelette & cranberry toasts! Jessica our waitress was excellent - listened and address our concerns or curiosity (this is our first visit in the cafe and 3rd time "take out desserts).
