Three people should not cost sixty dollars. Especially for subpar food. The orange chicken was spicy, which my friend didnt realize as it was stated NO WHERE on the menu, which meant she couldnt eat it. So we instead ordered sweet and sour chicken. We ended up having to just pay and leave as my other friend wasnt feeling well(not connected to the food.) We realized this morning that our food should not have come up to sixt dollars! We all did the math, and it should have been around $30. So once they opened we went in, and found out we actually OWED three more dollars!!! The orange chicken SHOULD have been comped since my friend wasnt able to eat it. Also, I was told that a manager wasnt present, and then suddenly a manager showed up as soon as I started talking about money! The entire staff hovered around us while we spoke with the waitress who had served us the night before. Its no wonder they have had to drastically change their prices (online prices are radically different from the in house prices, and the menu had white out literally everywhere). The food was barely edible, their menu is misleading (my shanghai dumplings looked MUCH larger in the picture. They were bitesized, more like an appetizer than a meal.), and the rudeness we got when we went back was unbelievable. I was extremely respectful until the waitress told us we owed them money! I even pulled the menu next to us to double make sure we were correct! I did the calculations on my phone in front of them, and each time SOMETHING was wrong so we kept getting the wrong numbers. She claimed that she calculated wrong last night. But we also found out that when my friend got the dinner combo with the sweet and sour pork, they charged us for both the combo AND the pork instead of EXPLAINING that thats what was going to happen. All around ridiculous experience and all three of us are PISSED. Never going there again. If I could give no stars I would.

We usually only order when the kids are gone as it is a little spendy, but worth it. I usually always order the Honey Walnut Prawns but tonight ordered the Honey Walnut Fish. My husband usually orders the General Tsos, and it is incredible. I have also loved the Deep Fried Almond Chicken. The Kung Pao Prawns were so good I couldnt quit eating it even though I was stuffed. Lots of good veges in this dish, and also the Hot and Sour soup is delish. I do wish they would substitute the rice for a salad or even a small amount of veges as we do not really care for rice. Weve had great service when dining in for lunch. My little granddaughter was being very willful and bored and the hostess was so gracious to us and tried to help calm her and was very forgiving of her being so naughty at the time. We did end up leaving early so as to not disturb the other customers, but our hostess even gave my granddaughter a few little candies on our way out. I would recommend, and would take friends and family there.

The last time I ate here I ordered take-out, and was told that it would be ready in 15 minutes. I waited 15 minutes, and then left my house, which is 7-10 minutes away. When I arrived, my food wasnt ready, but the cashier wanted me to pay immediately. This is pretty standard at a lot of places, but it seemed like she was rushing me, so I asked when my food would be ready before I gave her my credit card. She replied soon, but I decided to wait to pay. . . My food took an additional twenty-five minutes to be ready. The cashier knew that I normally tip pretty well, even for take-out, so I think she was wanting me to pay (and tip) before finding out that my food was going to be incredibly late. Who knows. Anyway, the chicken in the broccoli-chicken that I ordered tasted like fish. And I dont mean that it tasted like fish sauce. It tasted like it was straight up bad. So, Im probably not going back here. Too salty, too expensive, not high enough quality.

Would give a zero star if that was a choice! Today we had lunch here as we have for the last 15 years and needless to say when i got home this evening apparently my waitress didnt feel her tip was sufficient and added an additional $5.00 to the tip amount on my bill. I was in disbelief when i saw this tonight on my online banking. Shame on them! Isnt this illegal? Of course stupid me left all copies of the receipts on the table so i guess i was an easy target. They have lost my business forever as this is not ok to do and is so very wrong and dishonest. I do not recommend paying with a credit or debit card for this very reason if you decide to still dine here. If you do watch your statements. Very upset and disappointed in Imperial Palace today!!

At the end of a busy day I decided to treat myself to Chinese food. Imperial Palace offers free delivery and I remember that these guys serve excellent chow mein. So I ordered delivery to my house which is not more than 1 mile from the restaurant. My order totaled $27. As I was thanking the order taker/cashier and getting ready to hang up she stated, "You live too far away, next time I hope you order more food." When I asked for clarification, she said"Oh, its ok this time but next time you should order more food." Not only is this uncalled for behavior but if you have a delivery minimum that is above the normal $10-15 expectation please state it clearly. Good chow mein, tacky behavior my wait staff.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR $. We went to this restaurant with high hopes.... Was very disappointed with the food quality. The chow mein had a burnt taste to it. Each chicken dish truely did not taste like chicken. The Sweet and sour chicken and egg rolls were fried in grease probably from last year. One child put a peice of sweet and sour chicken in his mouth and literally threw up. The only edible part of the $70 meal was the brocolli in the beef brocolli. The non picky children I brought here wouldnt touch even the fried rice. If your looking for good chinese food this place is NOT it.

This was the worst Chinese food I have had. I used to love this place but the cooking has gone way down hill. I was so disappointed. I had the chicken and broccoli, it was bland w/soggy chicken; the fried rice was yellow w/ few peas or carrots; the egg rolls were overcooked; the almond chicken was tasteless; the fried wontons were cold; and the fortune cookies were stale. The worst $40, I ever spent on a meal and will never eat here again.

I thought this place would be good. I ordered a meal that cost about $12 The portion size would have been good If i had less of the noodle crap they called chow mein covering my plate. I had a small serving of beef w/ brocc at first i thought wow this is not much meat but once i tasted it i knew i wouldnt eat it all it was horrible. I wont be getting something for $12 next time. But there may be a next time.
