I decided to check this bar out when I was looking for live music one night. A band called the Naked Gypsies was playing (solid band). Being new to the area, I asked the bartender what hard cider he recommended, and I immediately entered into cosmic vortex of awesomeness that only an experienced shaman who has many years of ayahuasca under her belt could understand. After a few hard ciders and dancing for a few hours, I decided to make this my bar. Since that night, I have become a frequent patron and have experienced an amazing variety of incredibly danceable live music. I even played guitar one night at open mic. The food is amazing, the drinks are amazing, the live music is amazing, and the people that this place attracts are all amazing!! Its hands down the best bar in Everett. You will be incredibly sorry if you happen to be in the PNW and miss out on immersing your soul into this bar. Its a bar that could very well be the child of twilight zone and cheers (that is, if a tv show and a bar could procreate).

hi came in to hear some live music on Halloween weekend 2016. i have wondered about this place; seems like a historical ; llandmark in the old part of everett, the seaport, the crowd was very friendly if young; the bartenders were eager to please; in fact the female bartender worked extra hard to make me a properly sugar rimmed side car, I did not order food, but noticed the burgers looked like they were well worth the "cheat". That is, they looked so yummy i would probably have an orgasm eating one, especially the "anchor burger" i will be back and will keep an eye on the live bands"schedule, oh yeeah and the dancing was fun too!!

The Anchor Pub reopened under new management in August after closing in 2013 (and briefly reopening in January 2014). The $1 "train beers" are still there, as are new custom infused vodkas with some interesting flavors - fresh fruit... even Bacon(!). But the best addition is a kitchen - now the Anchor serves food - great seafood available especially during the day. I thought they were closed, but theyre not only open, but revamped in really good ways.

There is NO WAY that the pictures here are of the dive bar that we walked into. We were traveling and seeing the pictures it looked like a great place to stop. I called ahead and asked if there was outdoor seating and was told "yes". When we arrived we found that "outdoor seating" meant a 4"x10" strip of concrete with no tables or chairs that was next to active railroad tracks. ***Refering to the pictures: There is NO seafood counter***

The Anchor Pub has very reasonable prices and bartenders that are always incredibly nice. This bar is very attractive to younger people but their calendar includes events that are fun for all adults and sometimes even kids! Tuesdays are always $2.50 for well drinks so this could become a regular for a cheap night out during the week.

I really wanted to like this place. its a cool location r ifht near the train tracks so its fun when a train goes by. The building is really cool and they have different things going on on different nights. The bartender that we had was kind of a jerk and that is why I tested this lower. He made our experience less fun.

Est: 1934. Great service. Good food. Wheelchair access at lower door. Clean bathrooms. Old 1907 bldng. Great locals for talk and camaraderie. IWW historic memorial (1916 Everett Massacre) plaque by sidewalk, and a few steps from pub. Live music.

We came here for the Fishermans Village Festival. This is an awesome little spot down near the waterfront. The doors roll up, on a nice day, to let in some sunshine and open up to the patio. There is a little performance area in the back.

Really enjoyed the location. Quiet end of the road in downtown Everett. Not sure about live music but the building is awesome. Love the lower seating and the train track behind it. Great beer selection too.

The most chronic mac & cheese Ive ever found. It eclipses Beachers...no exaggeration. Get it with the pulled pork brisket. The best part is smashing pennies on the train tracks after youre done.

Fries are decent, the rest of the bar food is average. Younger atmosphere than other bars in everett, live music/open mic, bartenders are quick, nothing craft about the bar but not a bad spot.

Fantastic dive bar in Everett, great nautical theme with eclectic music paraphenallia. Good beer selection with modest prices. Without a doubt, the fried zucchini appetizers are a must get.

Great music, great atmosphere, great people. They bring in regular weekly and monthly local jazz artists. Tip: $1 beer when the train passes behind the bar. Highly recommended

Weird little bar in everett. Had a massive appetizer quesadilla and it was $3.50 for olys, so good for price. Good pushed out at 8 oclock by the loud dance music that started.

Burgers were excellent. Service was good but got a little busy for one bartender as the night went on. I would definitely go back.
