I purchased wings here about 8 months ago and they were pretty good. I ordered them fried extra crispy and thats how they came out. Sauce had a good taste. A couple months later I ordered wings fried extra crispy. They were soggy, and the sauce lacked any of the flavor from the first time. Very disappointing. I gave this place the benefit of the doubt hoping they just had an off day, and ordered wings earlier today for the Super Bowl. Again, soggy with no flavor. I dont know if the dark green, soggy lettuce at the bottom of the box had anything to do with it, but these were undoubtably the worst wings Ive had in Seattle. Im giving 2 stars instead of 1 only because the first time the wings were pretty good. Best 2 out of 3, this place loses in the chicken wing department. Ill order from Buffalo Wild Wings next time, not taking another chance on this spot.

Solid neighborhood bar that fits the family-centric neighborhood perfectly with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Rotating taps represent a thorough blend of local brews and well-selected foreign and domestic beers along with a cider two. Full meals are available but are definitely not the reason to come to the Barking Dog. The items that are standard pub fare do much better. The waffle fries in particular exceed any reasonable expectations if youre looking for something warm and salty to go with that beer.

My husband and I returned to the Barking Dog after a 2 year hiatus. Wed previously been turned off by the poor service and lackluster food. However, hearing that there was new management (or something like that), we returned recently and were pleasantly surprised by the kind and efficient waitstaff, and left satisfied with both the drinks and food wed ordered. Thank goodness things are going in the right direction.

The atmosphere at Barking Dog is very friendly and welcoming. The service is prompt and helpful. The menu combines alehouse standards, like burgers, salads and pizza, with creative rotating specials. Weekend brunch is excellent. The rotating tap selection features an ever-changing whos-who of local micro brews. Definitely one of my favorite spots!

Im visiting from Texas and wanted a fun place, good food and a neighborhood vibe. Received all of that. The menu had some different items and a good selection of local beers. Lots of locals there so you know its good. Glad we took a chance on a slightly out of the way place. The Aloha Bowl was fantastic and for sure try the Salmon Bruschetta!

Pleasant atmosphere and good service. Ordered a gluten free pizza. It took a bit because they "broke" the first one but comped it without us having to request it. It is a great neighborhood pub (as in public house, a place for people to gather) a little noisy as business picks up but not bad. I will be returning when I am back this way.

We Googled "dog friendly, good Bloody Marys" and found this little neighborhood jewel. My wife and I enjoyed delicious , spicy Bloody Marys made from scratch and excellent nachos; the kind where almost every chip had toppings on it. Super dog friendly establishment. ...our server, Nicole, was wonderful.

I love having the barking dog in my neighborhood. The food is consistently good, the service is great, and I love the beer selection. I hardly ever order cocktails anymore, but I watched the bartenders tonight and they are top notch. Thanks for a great evening.

Great local bar/restaurant. Good happy hour AND they have excellent mozzarella sticks! Its tucked away in a neighborhood, away from other retail offerings but definitely worth checking out. The wait staff has been lovely every time Ive been there!

Without a doubt one of our all time favorite restaurants to take the whole family. Great food, super friendly wait staff, consistent favorites and yummy specials. The kids love the food & the good chance to run into a puppy.

Overall the food is good, the beer list is better than average, but the service can leave something to be desired. There have been multiple times where I have sat for 5 minutes without even being acknowledged .

Nice neighborhood pub with good food. Off the main road so it feels private. There is a patio, bar seating and I believe dogs are allowed. Lots of tvs too.
