I had been a loyal customer for a long time. One day my friend was visiting. As a local, I tried to take her to all the great places around. I was excited to show her Sushi Ring. We ordered the all you can eat deal. Since it was my friends first time there, she wanted to try a variety of sushi. Obviously you could do that with all you can eat. There was one order that she didnt like that much, so she left 3 pieces of sushi there. Then the lady who seems to be in charge there came up and told her that she wont get any more sushi unless she finishes all the pieces. My friend insisted that she didnt like those, and that lady stared at her with a nasty, disrespectful facial expression and said something like "this is the rule and you have to eat them...or we cant make you any more food..." What?! That was just ridiculous! We paid for the food and now they cant serve any more food?? Ive never seen any restaurant that treats their customers like that! I cant believe someone that rude could work there, unless shes the owner. If thats the case, its even worse, because that place wont ever get better. I was disappointed and felt sorry that my friend had a bad experience. I will NEVER take or recommend anyone there ever. And I wouldnt even get any close to that place from that time on.

We just moved to the area, and we love sushi. We have visited the place twice for take out, and both times, the service has been not as friendly as pleasant as we would expect. The last time we ordered around 8:30pm, and when we got home and began eating, we discovered that we were missing a roll. I called back to talk with someone, but they were closed. I left a message. The next time we called to place an order, the lady we spoke with was literally RUDE and wouldnt acknowledge receiving the message, and outright argued with my husband over the phone over ONE roll that we didnt receive. We didnt get it, and we wanted her to acknowledge it. She wouldnt and continued to be RUDE and not believe that we were missing a roll. Its ONE roll, lady!! We just wanted to be compensated for what we didnt get, but instead, we got an earful of HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Really?! There was NO reason for her to behave that way (I know from experience- I am a manager of a BUSY restaurant). Unbelievable! We liked the food, but will NEVER GO BACK AGAIN to be TREATED SO POORLY!!!

We dine out often. We tired this place first time on 12/3 had several rolls. They were really warm not great but figured the rice was just made I am not a expert at making them. The salad I was given had started to freeze no biggie, at the end we ate almost all and I just ate the bit of shrimp in the roll and noticed it didnt taste right. To late. Right away we started feeling strange. Few hours later praying to God that I do not die vomiting every 20 minutes for 3 hours. 2 days later still havent eaten and my throat feels like it was torn out of my body. My husband didnt get sick but hasnt felt right for a couple of days. Very poor service I would be reluctant to serve you too if I thought I might make you sick. Go to Journey East for Sushi but it comes with a side of gambling at Tulalip Resort. Dont EVEN risk going to Sushi Ring.

first thing we noticed was the nasty smell as their storage and restrooms were directly in front of the sitting area. Next, after we indicated our interest in buffet and started to order, we were told that we had to order every thing if we wanted to use the buffet option. Not sure what "everything" meant, I was tempted to now leave and cut my losses short, but my 7 yr old was already mixing his wasabi with soy. As we proceeded to order, it became abundantly clear, the help knew nothing of sushi, and even less of proper etiquette. The sushi was so so bad. I have had better sushi from a vending machine at zurich train station. They would not take our order unless everything else was cleared off our table. But the worst was when I actually found a hair on the hamachi. That pretty much did it. Dont waste your time or money.

Wow was I disappointed. I was nervous going back to my favorite sushi place because of the recent reviews (it had been awhile since I had been in) I loved this place, the old chief and man that managed the place but I decided to try anyways. The decor has changed it feels more sport bar than sushi bar but that doesnt matter too much. The kicker for me was when I got home and started eating my dragon roll. The menu on their website says nothing about eel being on it. I hate eel. But the crab, or correction. Krab. It is fake! I couldnt believe I just paid $10 for fake crab meat. Major disapppintment. I still gave 3 stars because the goyza is still good. But I wont be back unfortunately.

Great place. Good sushi, good prices, clean environment, mostly friendly staff. Service can be good and bad at times... depends on their mood :) Yes, the "boss lady" can be abrasive... if youre not too thin-skinned, youll enjoy your meal. Food is great. Their version of Calimari is great, Upside-down shrimp is delicious, Sake Sashimi is fan-freakin-tastic. They love to use Sirachi sauce in all their "spicy" dishes and have no problem making it extra spicy if you desire. Miso soup (which is great) used to be free with your meal but recently they started charging for it :( For a hole in the wall, its fab and relatively easy on the wallet.

I came today alone. The waitress appeared annoyed and put out to be serving everyone. Rolls were delicious, but a bit sloppy. They were difficult to eat without falling apart. At the tail end of my meal the waitress asked me to move over to make way for her friends. I had to move my entire meal, water, napkin etc. She didnt even smile when I politely moved over and no thank you when I paid. The two "chefs" behind the counter, although busy both smiled and thanked me. I will not return again. Your waitstaff is the face of your business and clearly this gal needs a little more training.

I worked their for 3 months in 2013 and the service is bad to tell you the truth. The 2 ladies that work their are the owners they dont need description coz u will recognize them immediately by their bad attitudes. The food is good the style is different the service is bad. And the reason i quit that job was the daughter insisted that i eat one of raw fish has gone bad or spoiled that was in the front glass case by the sushi bar. I forgot what fish it was because customers dont order it that much. One of the chefs seems like a child molester Plus they didnt give me my last paycheck.

I have eating at the Sushi Ring for almost 5 years now. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Do not be deceived by this place being located in a strip mall, this is some of the best sushi I have had, period. The only places that competes with it is in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The quality of the food is outstanding. I highly recommend the sashimi! The tune, mackerel, and salmon are some of the best I have ever had. Get the "all-you-can-eat", it is a fantastic deal; I usual walk out of there with that plus 2 large beers for about $40.
