I am a co-owner at Cottage Bakery & Cafe. In regards the review below, my Mother ( the person mentioned) was off that day and popped in to do her weekly inventory. We all noticed the lady walk out as quickly as she walked in. There was a decent line, we had a girl out sick and we were training a new employee. It was a crazy Friday and things were definitely "busy" to say the least. We feel awful about this person feeling like they were ignored or treated rudely. We strive to provide outstanding customer service and quality product. We have contacted the customer to try to make it right. As for the religious and racial discrimination comment below, we did inform a regular customer that was doing Tarot card readings in our VERY small establishment to please discontinue doing them here. We had SEVERAL customers complain to us that it was making them very uncomfortable. Im not sure what this has to do with religious or racial discrimination. Our customers are from all different religions and ethnicities as well as our immediate family and friends! We will continue to provide the best customer service that we can and look forward to seeing all of our regular customers as well as our annual tourists on their way to beautiful Mt. Rainier! Thank you for supporting us as we head into 4th year at Cottage Bakery & Cafe!

I really like coming to this little bakery that seems to be out in the middle of nowhere... no offense Eatonville. When I think of Washington coffee shops, Cottage Bakery fits the image in my head to a tee. Take my word for it, when youre on a road trip and you realize that you need some sort of a caffeine charge that doesnt come in a cold aluminum can, this is the place you hope that you will come across. There are gluten-free options here, the pastries always seem to be fresh, the cookies are incredible, and they have Nanaimo bars; theyre pretty much the most delicious Canadian cookie ever made!!! The shop is always very clean, the location is adorable, and its a real nice place to get out and stretch your legs. My only slight complaint is that the employees here usually seem too busy to really stop what theyre doing and focus on the customer, but I can see past that as long as the food and the environment are warm and inviting. Check this place out. Youll be glad you did once you bite into your snack.

Hey Melida, I was there the day the manager asked you to stop practicing your religion on the premises. Other customers were having issue with the fact you were reading tarrot cards and had complained. She told you straight that she didnt have issue with your religion and said you were very welcome to stay, just asked you not to practice on the premises. I just wanted to clear that up because I was there that day and she was very polite and professional.

Amazing paninis. We had a turkey bacon cheddar which was top-notch, fresh, and homemade. Cozy atmosphere operating from an older home with seating outside, and on both floors. Service was friendly and food came quick. If I could give 6 stars I would. Keep doing what youre doing Cottage Bakery folks! Visited: 8/23/2017 @ 12:30p Busy but quick service. Maybe 15 mins from order to table. FRESH!

It really is too bad that I wont be going back to this place because I was discriminated against because of my religious preferences. I was asked to not discuss my religion in detail because I was offending the other customers when they were overhearing our private conversation. They have nice food and atmosphere, as long as you are white and Christian.

When I pass through Eatonville again. I will stop at the Cottage Bakery. I came through in July 2014. What a surprise. Great service from the lady at the counter. Big selection of quality baked goods. My mocha on ice turned out just right. Thanks again. I will be back.

Great place to have made-to-order coffee and tasty treats with friends! I walked out with an armload of breads and pastries too. Terrific variety of textures and flavors, friendly personnel, inviting atmosphere ~ whats not to like?!

Great coffee and donuts. Their lunch sandwiches are very delicious as well! Best place in town to sit down with a team or group of friends. This is the local hangout spot to meet with people and talk.
