I really want to like this place and have been here frequently but the last several tries have been nothing but disappointing. With the new bar opening I was very excited except they have a silly rule that you cant order any food off the restaurant menu. Ya I understand you want to keep the bar to drinking customers and the restaurant to people eating but when your restaurant is packed and there is zero people in your bar then you have issues. People are waiting or leaving versus you letting them sit in the bar and eat. Im referring to adults. None of the other restaurants in Camas have this rule. I guess pleasing customers is not your number one goal. With this said I opted to go to bar anyways since they do play sports on TV, have a beer, and maybe I can find something on there limited bar menu to eat for lunch. After sitting alone for 10 min and watching the help just walk by, I decided my business wasnt worth their time. Maybe this was why I was the only person in the bar. I have previously been to the bar before and had to not eat for the same reason and just have drinks. My initial impression was Vegas prices for cocktails. It could just be what I ordered but definitely more expensive than other places locally including Portland. I want to like this place but have opted to leave and eat elsewhere downtown Camas for my last three attempts. I love downtown Camas and want to see businesses thrive but Im not seeing this happen with Mill Citys new bar. Hey Im only one person, perhaps others will have better experiences.

I like Mill City and have always had good experiences here. Whenever we come out to Camas we usually stop in to see whats on tap (also only brewery in downtown Camas). Beer - 3 - The beer is pretty decent with a palette ranging selection. The hoppier stuff is probably my favorite Food - 3.5 - The food has always been very solid, although I find it to be on the slightly pricey side. Sandwiches are in the 11-15 dollar range. I find this particularly true for the buffalo chicken sandwich which is just tenders on a bun...and like 13 bucks. I would give it a 4 but knock a half star because I find it to be a little pricy with no value options. Atmosphere - 4 - I love that they have the mash tun and boiling kettle right there and you can see them brewing. It fills the place with a wonderful grainy smell as well, like an actual brewpub should be. The service is usually good and friendly, and the owner is very nice. There is usually a range of groups from families, to older couples, to younger groups. What you would expect in Camas. Overall - 3.5 rounded up to 4. Worth a visit if you like brewpubs and expect a higher class of grub.

We were sitting at the table for one hour and fifteen minutes. I asked the water to check on our meal twice. I told the waiter other people were seated way after us and were eating their meals. He argued the point. When I pointed them out he said, well they have another server. Really? The third time I checked on the order we have been there an hour and forty five minutes. I told the waiter if he could not explain why our order was so late and when it would be done we were leaving. He checked came back and said our order wasnt even started yet, it seems our ticket fell on the floor. I said ask the kitchen if they can start now and we will wait. He came back and said they would start our order in one half hour. I said okay we are leaving. His attitude continued as he inform me everyone in town was busy. We went to the Thai place nearby. We were seated immediatly, appetizers and drinks in five minutes, dinner in15 more minutes. Food and service was outstanding. There are plenty of choices for brewerys and restaurants in Camas Washougal restaurant. I reccommend you walk by this one.

came in this lunch day with 3 other folks. Took forever to receive meals after ordering(30 MIN) nothing that should have taken sooooo long. Fish was way over priced @ $16.00 4 little chunks of over deep fried fish with so much batter, was not good. A $ 7.00 Pretzel... was ridiculous. The Panini had so much mayo/grease..uck! not edible!!! Burger... add ons way over priced ..each one is another $1...makes any burger $12-14...for a normal burger ???????? this isnt some swanky place, its just a overpriced beer bar...nothing great about it..Never going back... what a rip off!!Also, service was very poor. Had to ask 3 times for additional napkins and extra condiments..only one server. The female server( there were 2 servers when we came in) left and went somewhere and came back well after we were ready to leave.

Fantastic beer, amazing food. Ignore the negative reviews, this place is great. Husband and I dropped in for dinner and drinks. He had Ace Cider while I tried two beers on tap. All three were on point. We had the bavarian pretzel and the pork crackling for appetizers. Both excellent. Great beer cheese dip. My husbands portabello sandwich was the best either of us have ever had. My buffalo chicken salad was great (though Id personally prefer the sweet and spicy sauce less sweet and more spicy). On top of everything else, the outside patio is very dog friendly. The food here is on the pricy side, but well worth it. We look forward to future trips to Camas.

The service sucks.. Went in on a Friday evening, with someone who was a long time employee in the service industry by the way, they werent that busy two bartenders one with a beard just kept chumming with his friends, the other never acknowldged us. We SAT right at the center of the bar for over 10 minutes... Then left, went over to Caps and Taps and another person mentioned they have the same experience! Guess the reputation is getting around? Maybe its decent, maybe its not but, theres at least a couple people that cant get service there!

We enjoyed their Albacore Fish & Chips... My husband says they make good beer... Downtown Camas is an adorable location... The staff was very friendly... ~ The only downside was that even though business was slow at the time (there were 7 or 8 people working and only that many customers), service was slow. Most of the staff were just hanging around talking with each other. We had a good time in spite of the slow service and we will be returning... Hopefully they will pay a little better attention to the customers in the future!

I really wanted to like this place. The location is nice, the building looked decent. But the service and food was subpar. There were a total of 8 groups at the bar with 2 servers. We were approached for our order, dropping off food and our tab. Our burgers took 40 minutes to come out and when they did the outsides were charred while the insides were bright pink. At least the beer served was enjoyable.

Wow! Found this place when we were in the area shopping, and what a surprise this place turned out to be. The Cuban panini and the salmon chowder were excellent! Great decor and good vibe and would not hesitate to recommend to friends and others. The smokey ale was quite tasty. The dry stack stone architecture touches throughout the restaurant was well done. Keep up the great service! Thank you
