I feel lucky to be within walking distance of my favorite coffee shop. When at Ladro, dont bother getting a corporate-franchise-style coffee-flavored milkshake to disguise the repulsive bite of burnt, poor coffee; get coffee. Here its rich, smooth, and pulled right every time. Their coffee is never burnt/dark roast, but medium or light, and if you do venture to a soy latte, know that the first sip tastes like a marshmallow. Dont get me started on the staff, who are both knowledgeable and friendly. The space they have is relaxed, yet constantly moving, a good place to get work done. If you can spare 30 seconds of your day to get a fantastic coffee over getting rushed out the door with mediocrity, choose Ladro. The good day is made better by a sip of quality.

A piece of Seattle coffee culture in the suburbs. The quality isnt as consistent as their downtown Seattle location, and in Seattle this would only be a 4-star cafe. But you wont find much of this quality outside the Seattle City limits, so its become a go-to for my husband and I whenever we find ourselves in the Bothell area. Definitely beats Starbucks, and I appreciate the drive-thru convenience. Having said that, the customer service and ambiance inside are nice and its well worth stopping in for a more leisurely visit from time to time. They can do both whipped cream and sugary syrup drinks, and micro-foam coffee art with decent shots of espresso. Good beans, Ill occasionally buy some to grind at home, but not my favorite.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops, and I would give it 5 stars if the place werent so cold. I love the coffee, and in fact I even buy beans from these guys for my home espresso machine. Pastries are ok and there is free wifi. Great location and in the summer the doors are open and there is patio seating. In the winter it is difficult to find seating that isnt close to one of the two entrances, so you constantly get blasts of cold as people go in and out. Staff is great, 5 stars if they just turned on the heat or put a fireplace in or something!

Cafe Ladro is an awesome cafe with excellent happy and helpful employees, who really care how you feel, and who work hard to make sure you have an enjoyable experience! The manager Chris is always ready to greet you with a great big smile, and makes you feel like a part of the family! Weve been going there for many years now, and plan to continue to go there as often as possible! If youre ever in Bothell, stop in and get the best cup of coffee around, along with with thier many wonderful sweet treats, and other goodies! A GREAT PLACE TO GO!

The staffs forgot my order of quiche. I reminded them after working at a table for about 20 minutes, and the filled my order quickly. I asked for a shake espresso, not realizing that it is alcoholic. I wish there is an explanation on the sign for a newbie like me. Other than that the staffs were polite and helpful; wifi works great, without time or speed limit like a chain store.

Good tasting apple pastry and coffee but the fact that a 16oz Americano is $3.35 b4 tax and only has 2 shots in it is kind of silly. I still cant get away from SBucks for my Americano fix 3 shots in a 16oz and $3.25 after tax. Barista tried to tell me lots of people order the 16oz and are happy with it, I dont believe it or the people ordering it like reallllllly weak coffee.

Love the frozen mochas, I get them with an extra espresso shot. Usually about $5 a cup. Cheaper (& in my opinion) better than Starbucks. If you want a cross between a coffee slushy & a chocolate milk shake, a frozen drink is awesome on a hot day. ^-^ just ask for a "frozen" & whatever drink on the menu (like; mocha, latte, Americano, cappuccino, etc.)

Sometimes you get a great latte but you cant count on it. For every really good lattle, you get one thats mediocre, and the service is generally slow. There seems to be a quality control issue here, so mostly I stick with Starbucks. The vegan oat bars are excellent, though. So, while the Bothell store may be the best, it sometimes is the worst.

The staff are cheerful and pleasant. They make great coffee and are very adept at making that bizarre combination of ingredients you ask for taste and look great. The location is a bit tight for parking but there is lots more space if you park on 186th rather than Reder. In some ways this is the coffee equivalent of the bar in Cheers.

Snob coffee...overpriced...wrong the only 2x I went there! Coffee isnt actually as good as the reviews I see here....maybe those arent real? Frankly not many of these places make great coffee....coffee here was sour once..burnt the second time and neither time was it what I ordered.

The barista was unbelievably rude. He didnt even acknowledge I was there for about 5 minutes when there was no one else in line. And I thought he was finally talking to me but he was on his headset! Wouldnt recommend.. Pastries look amazing though!!

Wonderful coffee and tasty treats. The lounge area seems a bit crammed with all the tables, more chairs rather than big tables taking up all the room would be nice, but thats my only complaint. Friendly staff and quick service.

Great coffee spot in Bothell! I like most things on the menu but not a big fan of their quiche. If you order it be sure to ask for it to be extra hot. After having it re-heated twice it still was cold in the middle.

Im from out of state and happened upon this place. Wonderful coffee, good enough to drink black (beat that Sbux w/ your burnt nastiness). Had a slice of pumpkin bread, delicious and the perfect fall treat!

Great coffee, and one of the nicest café staffs ever. Ironic, as most Ladro locations have snobby staff, but not this one. Genuinely sweet people making tasty coffee in a comfortable, inviting space.

Nice cozy location. Very decently sized. Large selection of teas and tasty espresso beverages. There were a few people studying, others were chatting. Overall a very low key, quiet place to chill.

Incredibly good coffee. The atmosphere is also pretty cool. Most of the employees Ive encountered here seemed pretty pissed or just plain disinterested. That deducted a star for me.

Their house roast beans is perfectly balanced, not burnt, not acidic. When I feel like getting a treat I get their specialty drink Medici. Its a mocha with orange flavor.

This used to be my favorite coffee place but it is hit or miss. Coffee is expensive and sometimes it is amazing, othertimes you wish you woud have made it yourself.

I stop by here regularly and the service is awesome. Coffee is always hot and their pastries are good too. I especially love the spinach and feta quiche.

The coffee is amazing, my favorite is the Medici. No one else has anything like it. The baked goods taste fabulous. And the staff is top-notch!
