This is going to be a long review but please read all of it. I was visiting Bainbridge and wanted ice cream I asked a few people were to go and they directed me to MORA. I went in on Monday this week around 5. As soon as the door opened I was greeted with smiles and in a very welcoming manor. I had just missed a rush because people were walking away from the store with ice cream so I figured it was a good time to go. I said "ok so Ive never been here and I want to try everything haha" Megan said "absolutely, tastes are encouraged here. Im just going to give you our little spiel super fast. Once you do get a chance to look around, Im going to start you up at the register with me first, just paying for a size or a dessert option, once that is selected you can slide down the counter and sample as many flavours as you would like" I thought that made sense, I took a few minutes to browse, asked a few questions about sizes and desserts and then selected a double cup. Megan rang me up, went over and washed her hands and proceeded to help with samples and flavour info. Told her I was gluten free and if there were any ones to avoid. Megan responds with "thank you for telling me, we only have a few that contain gluten; our chocolate PB moreo, cheesecake with brownies, lemon bar and the McGinnis. But everything else is safe, and we do have individual scoops for everything so there wont be cross contamination." I thought it was great to find an ice cream shop that didnt use the same scoop and just put it in a tub of water to clean it. I went ahead and tasted several, had a few questions on a couple flavours and Megan clearly answered them. I ended up getting the dark chocolate mint and thoroughly enjoyed it. I can honestly say that I had one of the best customer service experiences Ive had in quite awhile. It was lovely. There was such a good atmosphere as soon as you walk in. It was clean, another employee was cleaning. Making sure tables werent sticky etc. I definitely recommend.

I was so determined not to have too many sweets today. But then we came to Bainbridge and I realized I was near Mora. I cant leave Seattle and not give them a try! I was mostly drawn in my the Chocolate PB Moreo - chocolate ice cream with swirls of PB and chunks of Oreo. I sampled first, as I always do, and it did not disappoint! However, I needed to do just a little more investigating before choosing the one and only flavor meant for me!! I have to say that the Cheesecake Brownie and the Banana Split flavors were both quite impressive. But at the end of the day, that PB was calling out to me! I got one scoop and it was pretty sizeable. This ice cream is UBER creamy and smooth! The chocolate was rich, the PB was plentiful and salty and the Oreos were in softened and decent- sized chunks! And I have to say that I havent seen this flavor offered anywhere else, so its definitely going down in the books for me! Give them a visit!!

Ice cream is one of my favorites, so Ive tried many brands & places all around the country. This place is the best Ive ever had, EVER! Quality is just the best! Premium ingredients & no skimping on things like nuts, chocolate chips or berries that might be part of the recipes While I heard about the well-deserved crowds at this place, I went shortly after opening on a Saturday morning & it had absolutely no line. I paid first, as others noted, then a very nice, helpful staff really did let me to try any and nearly all flavors, probably close to 10, before I picked the double scoops I paid for earlier . Note-theyll allow the splitting of a single scoop into 2 , so by getting a double scoop, you can actually get 4 different flavors & the split portions are close to a full scoop! Will visit this place every time I am in Bainbridge! Go earlier in the day to avoid the crowds to make for much more enjoyable visit!

When we were checking out Bainbridge we had to see what all the hype was about for this place. Very long line outside for their ice cream. I feel they kind of have the counter set up backwards because you pay first then pick your ice cream. They were out of so many flavors (more than half). My boyfriend ordered a vanilla milkshake she rang it up and then we mentioned that there was a dot for vanilla ice cream and asked if we can still get a shake. She then realized that they were out and we had to change our order. What would have happened if she rang up a vanilla milkshake, charged us then we went to order it and were told after paying that they were out of the only flavor we wanted? Seems backwards. And how can you be out of vanilla?! We got a scoop of orangcicle ice cream instead. It was good but not sure the 45 minute wait in 90 degree weather was worth it.

Wow - all I can say is wow! This is a place that needs to come set up shop outside our house! Located just a little off the main drag, you have to be looking for it, but when you find it, its like you found your pot of gold! We shared a small Swiss chocolate and it was an amazing experience! The flavors were incredible and with the chocolate liquor dancing throughout, it was great! Little on the pricey side, but well worth the extra dollar vs. Baskin Robbins! They have 20 something flavors including a good number of chocolates, vanillas, and stuff youre not so used to - like marsala wine and egg custard. Try this place out - youll leave happy!

I originally wrote about a negative experience I had at Mora but after being in contact with Mora’s Chief Brand Officer in regards to the review and our experience, I must admit our negative experience must have been in isolated experience. Mora completely turned around our negative night at the Bainbridge location and have earned another very happy customer. I even have gone to their website about ordering their product and having it sent to us half way across the US as their ice cream – is that good! I can’t give enough kudos to this location for turning around the bad experience and making it a good one. This place is great – thanks again!

Very strange. I asked for a sample and the clerk told me I needed to order a size first. I told her that I would like to sample the ice cream before I chose a size. She then seemed to get angry and asked me if I planned to buy anything. I said, well, it depends on if I like the sample. She also lectured me on waiting in line for my turn. Strange because there really wasnt a line, just a couple of bored clerks and a family doing something other than ordering ice cream. I was touring with my Mom who was visiting me from the Midwest. Well, whats the point in going back when we received such service?

Its kind of a strange business template. You pay for a size first and then sample, after done sampling the people who are handling the Ice cream (separate from the cashier that you have already visited) ask what size you brought.... Theres nothing stopping you from saying something different to the scooper compared to the cashier... Its kind of confusing if its a double or single scoop bowl because either way you can get two different kinds of Ive cream. But either way their product is unmatched. Delish ice cream!
