This place could use some improvement. I remember Roy Rogers being a place I could take my family and occasionally I would take my lunch break here. I would not take my family anywhere near this particular establishment. Im almost set on never going back to this place again. Its not because of the food or because of the service but it just seems so un-american. As I arrived on my last visit, I was greeted by a very friendly cashier. She was able to assist my with my questions and I was ready to order. However I noticed a lot of the other staff seemed to be seated or talking on their phones. After my order was taken, I waited. I watched as the cashier then took over the duty of retrieving my meal by herself. This was very off-putting. I was confused why this worker had to work so hard without assistance from her co-workers? The other workers looked confused and it looked like a tall man and a very hefty woman were ignoring everything as they giggled to each other in some backroom. The food was good and the service that lone worker was great. But that management was appalling. Almost like a sweat shop! They barely make anymore than their workers yet they seem to have a superiority complex. Ive seen other Roy Rogers run very smoothly with everyone helping as equals. Everyone has a value and no one should offload their own work on to another because of rank or position. Im sure this particular place has a revolving door for employees. I wouldnt want to work there and if youre American I wouldnt suggest being here over a truck stop bathroom. I will not eat here or suggest it to anyone I know. I will go to Front Royal or elsewhere before going here again. That is unless this place gets better management. Then I will reconsider. My hats off to you lone cashier. Stopping at Roy Rogers on the road through Virginia and the Northeast is one of my favorite things about the trip. I always plan to stop there for the best fried chicken that Ive had anywhere. Their biscuits, sandwiches, and shakes are also good, and its the only place where Ive found Fanta Birch Beer. It would be great to see this chain expand into more markets.

Ordered 2 pc dark chicken both leg and thigh were dry. Way over cooked. The biscuit was hard as well. Im wondering if it just sat to long. Its was order number 3089 at 357pm. Mashed potatos were great thank God because the point of coming there was to eat something.
