We eat here often and travel from Martinsburg WV ( 26 miles away ) to get to them. This location is fairly clean despite being usually full to the brim with people. By that I mean, not too much "fallen of the table" food crumbs on the floor. The food buffet area ( a really nice variety.., something for everyone ) is kept clean and is restocked with fresh food on a regular basis. Unlike other all you can eat buffet places, the food is tasty and actually is spiced. Salad bar is complete and offers a wide variety. Seafood and Chinese food is available and is varied.Kids stuff is also varied and diverse. Steaks served are good cuts and generous portions on first serve. Service staff are affable and usually check back to see if you need refills on drinks ,but they could be more diligent at time. Wait time to be seated on peak hours and days can be improved but this is because LOTS of people line up to eat at this Winchester location and you have to wait for an opening. Bathrooms were clean and not smelly. We like this location and love the consistency of the quality and taste of the food offered and the really great variety they offer. Come hungry!

We went for dinner tonight. Yes, I know we got there close to closing (35 min before they closed). However, $54 for 3 of us to feel like they were closed already was a little shocking and disappointing. The food was mediocre, the dessert was non existent, and when someone gets sweet tea and it is refilled with what tastes like water, it make you a little dissatisfied. Not to mention, when youre trying to eat and theyre sweeping around you, it puts a bad taste in your mouth. We just paid full price to have a less than OK experience... I wouldnt even be writing this if we had an OK experience. Oh, and another thing, I guess we were there during "premium dinner", but we didnt get the "premium" anything. Do yourself a favor and get there by 7 if theyre closing at 9... or just go somewhere with better quality everything, like Red Lobster or Texas Roadhouse and pay less too...

Manager, Scott Callahan is truly a class Act. Having owned a mechanical contracting company in charlotte & having the opportunity to meet some of the top execs of Golden Corral... I know the culture it should embody. Golden Corral & the customers of the Golden Corral in Winchester, VA are all lucky to have such a selfless & warm person handling that business. Thanks for your courteous demeanor, friendly greeting & your warm heart. You single-handedly have helped to show Rachel & I that humanity & humility is still part of some peoples daily lives. Good food too!

As a business man I travel a lot. I have been to dozens of Golden Corrals and in my opinion this one is one of the best. I appreciate that the selection of food is far greater than the cost. I read other posts and sometimes dont understand. The G C does not claim to be fine dining, it is a buffet and that is why I give it 5 star. You pay for what you get and in the case of G Cs they are a great value as long as they are clean and the service is good. I applaud the Winchester store for having good management and a dedicated staff.

My last visit here was shocking cause the place looked different as for the food bars it didnt have everything on the bar as im use to getting on a regular from other golden corrals being i havent ate there in a long time just wasnt the same and some items like mac and cheese was a long wait on serving frim the kitchen and after waiting so long for it when it did come out it was so runny we got up and left and said the next time we are in the area no more of this place until we return home

I used to like this buffet more but like Ive said before Ive been around this town for a while and this place got real old real soon...the way I used to eat yea sure Id come back for more but, heck no! I wouldnt come here to eat anymore, but it has a great atmosphere for gatherings and meetings and for families and youll bet youll end up running into someone you know there or meet someone new..

This is my second time here and I love the place. The food is always fresh, anything that can be made from scratch is made from scratch. All you can eat buffet has a wide variety of foods for people of all diets. Fruits, veggies, salad bar. The desert bar could have more on it but I was so full all I could fit into me was choc/vanilla ice cream mix. If your in winchester and hungry, come here.

Im usually not a fan of large buffets, but this one is very good! Its always going to be busy with children running around the chocolate fountain unattended, but the food was hot, fresh and tasty. There was no wait for empty food pans to be replaced and there were at least 2 carvers at the meat station at all times. They seem to run a tight ship here!

Service and food quality were awful. Halfway through dinner we had to ask the manager to clear our table. Server kept bringing drinks. Did not take a single plate or cup off the table. Finally we asked a manager if he could clear the table. He thought it was funny. Server spent more time talking to another employee than taking care of her tables.

Was extremely dirty. The manager didnt care about our concerns. My husband was sick in the bathroom after eating here. The pizza was not cooked through. Someone dropped tongs on the floor and put them back in the chaffing dish. My MIL stepped on taco shells. The bathrooms were gross. Family fail.

With the wonderful salad bar options, I rarely eat a whole lot else, but it is certainly available. Only issue I have is with the meats, with the chicken a bit dry & other options just not that appealing. Desserts are crazy fun & in portions that allow you to sample a few.

The food is pretty decent but Ive always felt it was slightly overpriced for the quality. The yeast rolls with honey butter are INCREDIBLE! Pretty good selection of desserts and employees are always kind and personable. Weekends get too crowded for my personal tastes.

it is the most Awesome Food you would have, steaks, salads, tacos, pizzas, all the other things that they serve is great, this is why you have to go to Winchester to eat this food, everytime I come here for lunch and dinner, its an amazing experience to be here.

The reason i dont put 5 stars is because i believe two of the people who work there are racist and since i am a mexican people treat me differently also the last time i went there the women that was attending our table didnt come until 10 minutes before we left.

Dirty. Chicken and other meats were raw under cooked. Salad bar was ok. But customers had mixed all the spoons up. So food I didnt and or couldnt eat was on the serving spoons. Will drive to martinsburg and go to Ryans from now on.

Usually very good, not too good today. Everything was way over salted and most things were just empty during the whole visit. Bad enough that a customer actually got into an argument with one of the emplyees about it.
