Several people in line including myself had to go back to the counter after getting our food because our orders were wrong. I ordered a sixteen peice family meal. They only put wings and breast and I enjoy dark meat. Two other customers went back for the same thing. Even asking if they were out of dark meat. They said it was about eight minutes until they had some more dark meat. First thing I thought of was why not tell the customer that instead of giving incorrect orders and hoping we leave before we noticed. The air conditioner must have been broken because they had four large stand up fans set up and running throughout the store. Unfortunately the fans were not helping and it was very very hot inside. The parking lot was littered with trash and had feral cats and kittens everywhere. Unclean lobby and restroom. Lastly most of the staff was very rude and bad attitude. I honestly think it is partly due to the temperature. It was extremely hot in the store so I can imagine it was even hotter and uncomfortable on the other side of the counter. Very poor work environment. Its the only Popeyes around here so it looks like I wont be eating Popeyes Chicken again.

I love Popeyes in general as a restaurant chain! Even my two little picky eaters will eat their entire plate! That being said DO NOT waste your time on this location. Unless you have an extra 30-45 minutes to wait for your food (every time we go, even on week nights) and have the patience to deal with a rude, badly dressed staff. Ive given this location 5, yes 5 attempts to win me over. Every time were there our wait time is absurd and they cant blame being understaffed because they is always at least 8-10 of them there, the staff never apologized for our wait, our order comes out wrong half of the time, and part of the management staff wears pants that are below their butts!!! And they are female!!!! Gross. Pull your pants up! And for goodness sake learn to apologize for your short comings. The food is meh compared to other locations. Fries are always soggy, biscuits taste like they were rolled in flour after their done baking and they dont sell Mac n cheese here. I will be trying different locations in the VB area from now on even though I will have to drive further, it has to be better than this location!!!!!

Just terrible. My first time at a Popeyes, and Ill never go back. I went through the drive through and they told me I had to wait 6 minutes for an order of 5 chicken tenders. There was no one there, in the parking lot or in the store. I waited for 20+ minutes and watched other people go inside, then leave with food. When the guy finally brought my order out, he gave me the wrong order. There were no other cars that went through the drive through after me...so how he messed that up is beyond me...anyway...I gave him my receipt and then ten minutes later a different girl brought my my order. By that point I was considering asking for my 7+ dollars I paid for this food. Then I get to see the product, and wow that was the weakest fried chicken Ive ever had. I could make better at home. Hardees is better. Food Lion deli fried chicken is better, and in both cases I would get way more food for my buck. I didnt feel full afterword, just disappointed that I wasted my money on this poor excuse for fried chicken.

.I drove through the drivethru and ordered a family pack with a few sides. The main concern is image and appearance of the employees.. The manager on duty in the button down shirt was missing the last few bottom buttons of the shirt, which caused her large belly to be exposed. All the other associates on duty were poorly dressed. Hats slanted to the side, shirts untucked.. a mess! I was told that I had to pull up because my order was not ready yet. I waited from 7:50pm to 8:06 pm for my food. I had to call my wife just to tell her the shock that I was in. She was quite concerned that our food would be of the same poor quality that the staff resembled. We normally shop at the Virginia Beach Blvd location... But noticed that this store was closer.. I guess now, we will still be driving to other store. Our impression of the Lynnhaven store has been disgusted!

We stop going to this restaurant many years ago because of the absolutely horrid customer service by one of their managers. A few months ago we decided to give them another try and everything went well. However the last time we went I went through the drive thru and brought home a wrong order. I called the store they took my name and said next time that we came in we could get another of that same item we were supposed to get. Fast forward to today, we go to the restaurant, my husband walks in and orders our lunches, cashing in on the one the already owe us. We get home and MY order is now wrong. I have been trying to call them for the last 2 hours and nobody answers the phone.

Love their chicken. When you can get it. This location is always running out of something. Chicken tenders, ranch dressing, ice tea just to name a few. Ordered dinner thru grub hub and had to cancel it due to them not having over half of what we ordered. Then we had to wait 5 days for reimbursement. So dinner that night cost twice as much. One night we went thru the drive thru and we were told that they were out of chicken and wouldnt have any more for the next half hour. Also, seems that in the lobby they can only wait on 1 customer at a time. They will not start the next customers order until the one in front of you has their order.

The Kitchen area is filthy. The manager is to busy socializing and not managing. There were 2 people in front of me and it took them 15-20 mins to get to me. Mean while the drive thru is helping 10 or so cars. The manager was talking to a lady while the cashier was struggling. They ran out of tenders by the time I got to order because the kitchen staff werent paying any attention to what was being ordered to make sure they didnt run out of things. The place is a mess and I now wish I would have checked the reviews ahead of time but it is a chain fast food restaurant didnt think I needed too!

It seems like every time I use the drive-thru Im unsatisfied. First off the guy says, "Hello?" like were on the phone. I ordered popcorn shrimp and they didnt put any cocktail sauce. I ordered a chicken strip combo meal and they forgot to put in the fries. I ordered a sweet tea and I got unsweetened instead. Also, they are super stingy with their sauce. Dinning inside isnt always a treat either. There are never any napkins out, you always have to ask. Tables are always dirty and drink station is always a mess.

The food was good. Chicken was nice and crispy. Service was a little slow but it was lunch time and busy. Menu could use improvement. Only lists combos but there are definitely more options available. I ordered a 3 piece and the cashier rung it up as a combo but I wanted a dinner with no drink. She told me I should have said that ahead of time and she would need a manager to change it. Since it was so busy I just kept it like it was. The whole ordereing process sucks since all options are not clear on the menu.
