Wow! We ordered pizzas for a dinner meeting and prepaid for them. They arrived ok but when we opened the order we discovered that one of the pizzas was incorrect. We had ordered a Hawaiin and it was plain cheese. No problem I thought - I will just call them tomorrow for the refund. Well boy was I wrong. First a woman answered the phone and when I explained what happened she quickly asked why didnt I call yesterday? Then she put me on hold and a man came on the line. He made me repeat what happened and then he too asked why I didnt call last night. He then tried to tell me that we didnt pay for a Hawaiin and when I told him I was looking right at the receipt he said that there was nothing he could do because that was yesterdays shift. He then stated - you ate it didnt you? I asked to speak to an owner or manager and he said that he was the owner and then he hung up on me. So much for their promise: "OUR PROMISE We specialize in crafting mouth-watering meals and providing superb customer service."

i use to think this pizza spot was good place to get my food from but after going here for years to end up in 2017 visiting them a few times this year it has been awful the way they make the pizza way too greasy does not taste the same their fried chicken has no batter which if you dont want sauces on it already it is completely a waste of money in fact something has completely changed with this restaurant the service isnt the same and they dont wash their hands often and I dont see them ever wear gloves while tossing up pizza the only thing I truly like is delivery that is it otherwise Virginia truly do not sell any good tasting pizza Ive visited several places here including California pizza many folks exaggerate these eatery places here in Virginia! My suggestion is they train better cooks and customer service without attitudes why hire folks that dont like their job

I had to take my friend into emergency surgery and when she got out, all she wanted was some pizza. I ordered a large pizza from Mini Italia for delivery. When we opened our box, it looked like our delivery person had dropped our pizza and played soccer with the box (pizza inside). It was a pile of goop! All of the cheese and toppings slid to one side of the pizza, it was barely edible. We attempted to fix it the best we could but then we discovered it was WAY undercooked. We threw it out immediately. Will NOT be ordering from here again. It was disgusting and disappointing, to say the least.

I called and placed a order for a cheese pizza, The guy asked me if I want to pick up or delivery and I say pick up and he told me 20 minutes . I drive all the way from Hampton and I go inside after 20 minutes to pick up my food and the guy told me that he didnt have a small personal cheese pizza and he dont know who took my order that I called the right number I stated to them that I had their number stored in my phone so I know for a fact I have the right number and all he can do is shake his head and say he didnt know who took my order and they didnt have my pizza . Bad Business !!

It was Valentines Day and my husband and I were just getting over bad colds, so we decided to get some take-out and eat at home. I looked around for good Italian places nearby our home and after reading Mini Italias reviews I was sold. My husband went to pick up the food so I cant comment on what the restaurant looked like, but I do know the service on the phone was friendly, the food was ready fast, and the portions are huge. I lived off my medium pizza for three days! Very authentic taste. I would go back and highly recommend!

After reading the 2 previous views, I was a little worried about choosing this restaurant to eat at, but my worries were put to rest as soon as we walked in. Beautiful mural painting covers the dinning area with a flat screen tv. They had great costumer service, everyone was more than friendly and very polite. They had great prices; we bought a $11 large pizza, it was so big I was only able to eat one piece, which filled my plate! This is a nice place to visit.

Mini Italia has some of the best pizzas and entrees. I love their chicken wings and calamari! Personal favorites: Calzone and Pepperoni Spinach roll. Ive never had that dehydrated feeling after eating their food. I cant say the same for other commercial pizza places. We order from Mini Italia at least twice a month. They even know its us by now! Everyone is so friendly, and delivery is usually faster than they say it will arrive. I highly recommend this place!

To be honest, its a hit or miss with them, I dont know if its with the in and out staff they have but when I always order their Philly cheese steak($10.00) and 1 slice of pepperoni pizza($2.00) the quality isnt what it use to be, and Im from Brooklyn N.Y so I know whats up. Imagine paying $12.00 and some change for food and starving and when you get home and open up ur food.... its dry and burnt..cries...

Im with Bob: Born, Raised in NY means knowing Real NY Pizza. I have been buying my pizzas from this family for at least 10-12 years. This is true NY Pizza....it aint Papa Johns or Pizza Hut (puke). So if you know real pizza then try this family. Rita Ganci rules the kitchen and everything is cooked from scratch. Salvatore Ganci is the pizza master.

The pizza was sub par at best. The cheese wasnt melted and it was clumpy and barely luke warm. The cheesecake was a joke! $5.99 for a thin slice of cheesecake (maybe an inch and 1/2 at its widest point), it was frozen with a big hollow hole in the middle, and Im 99 percent sure it came from a box. Ridiculously over priced! Dont waste your money!

Excellent linguini with white clam sauce! Eggplant parmigiana is my favorite. Also the garlic knots are wonderful.......and so is the garlic bread..yummy! Tried the stromboli and of course delicious! I recommend this place to everyone. My neighbor told me about Mini Italia and they were absolutely right....the food is fabulous!

I ate there on my way back home (after being in the Norfolk area for work). I had the 2-slice special and it was just like being in NYC. It was great! Its a little place in a strip mall but it could have been somewhere in NYC. I will go back there the next time I am in Norfolk.

As far as I know one of the only restaurants within walking distance of the neighborhood surrounding it that you can have a beer with your lunch. Aside from that, I had the side salad and the Guido Special calzone and all I can say is Awesome. Very filling and VERY tasty!!
