My daughter and I visited Huddle House this morning after her therapy. It was our first time so we took a few extra minutes to look over the menu. Our server was Nina. She was nice, but didnt seem like her mind was all there this morning. I ordered water with a lemon just received water. I ordered the Ribeye & Shrimp dinner asked for the loaded potato with green beans. When my food arrived Nina said were just waiting on your green beans. Okay well she left my table so fast I couldnt tell her that my potato wasnt like I ordered fully loaded after five minutes or so she came over with the wave of my hand. Took the potato back threw cheese & bacon on top. Fine. Thanks. My meal is 90% done Im waiting on my green beans still. I asked Nina for them her facial expression clearly let it be known that she forgot. So she opened the microwave where my veggies were reheated them then brought them over. Cant lie I literally heard the microwave open close timer goes off boom my green beans are here! After that she took forever coming back over to check on us not knowing all it wouldve takin was a quick second to notice our meals were completed and to drop the check. It took too much effort for me to eat pay and leave. The food was okay but I dont she myself rushing back anytime soon.

My family visited the one near landstown commons in virginia beach. We had a wait of about 8 mins. There is no waiting area we had to stand and keep moving because we literally had to stand in front of peoples table while they ate or in front of the door as people walk in and out. When we finally got a table the floor underneath was dirty and i noticed that throughout the restaurant. There was one restroom for each gender and no paper towels which explained why tissue was all over the floor. Greti was our server and although she was nice she barely came to our table and let everything pile up until we had to ask another server for refills. The hashbrown were not done throughout..although the rest of the food was ok Ive had better at wafflehouse. Atleast at waffle house you can make substitutions. This review is from my first experience which was horrible. Hopefully yours is better. Note to Huddle house...when service is bad so is the food!!

Ruined my Sunday - my husband keeps on telling me that we should have went to Ihop. It used to be my favorite breakfast place but after several visits, not anymore. Were like totally forgotten the whole time. The food came almost 30mins, some people who came the same time as us are in the middle of their meal. My husband was asked if he needs a refill for his unsweet tea and I asked for condiments (theres nothing on the table) for my phillycheesesteak omelet. All that seems to be forgotten, i swear, i was making eye contacts to remind her about our request the whole time I was eating, didnt work, shes just looking past me. Shes out making rapport with other customers, but totally ignored us. She went back finally to give us our bill, then she asked if theres anything else we need. Oh no, im done eating so it wont make sense to ask for anything...

My family and I went to huddle house today and the service was terrible to say the least because there was none. We say ourselves which we know is standard however no server came to our table to ask us out drink order or anything else. I was able to make eye contact with another server and asked her if anyone was working out area she mouthed the words yes give me one minute. She took another tables order and proceded to go behind the counter to tell another server. She subsequently came about 3 minutes later. By now my family and I have been sitting at the the table for over 10 minutes for her to tell us she needed a few more minutes. I hate disappointing my children and I left with a crying five year old because he wanted his eggs and grits. I could be a little more understanding of it was busy but it was not. The ball was truly dropped today.

Went today was not greeted upon entry had to stop a very stressed out server to inquire do we seat ourselves. Her reaponse was find a clean table. Once myself and my party found one we set for about 15 minutes before being greeted by our waitress. We placed an order and while waiting for 30 plus minutes two other families walked out for poor service. Once we finally received our food it was cold the butter wouldnt melt on the waffles, the hash browns were like bricks, and we were informed that my boyfriends chicken fried steak was thrown away and we would have to wait 15 minutes for another. At this point I informed the manager that were leaving heres $3.00 for our drinks and left and went to Ricks cafe were we should have gone first. Beware if you like to waste time money and have cold food then Huddle House is for you.

We went on a Friday morning and it wasnt too busy but service was SLOW. their organizational system is deeply flawed. Seat yourself, random servers came to our table, tables left unbussed...it doesnt work, they need a hostess, bad, and clear roles for each employee. Two of us had burned food. Not kind of burned, but certifiably charcoal in one side (my all the way hashbrowns onions, peppers and ham). They drenched my daughters French toast in powder sugar to cover the burnt side. And on the flip side its the best pancake Ive ever had in my life. My husbands smothered platter thing was good too. I dont know what to think...its hard to want to go back, but those pancakes were AMAZING.

The food was awesome. The service was a bit slow but they were very apologetic and we got complimentary waffle chips. I would say this establishment is still very much getting up on their feet. HOWEVER, the REAL issue here is the PARKING LOT. Whomever designed it is an idiot. There was NOWHERE to park actually BY the restaurant. We had to park across the street and having a small child...thats not okay. Not to mention, that somehow people decided it was a good idea and legal to park on the sides of the entrance to the lot making it impossible to enter the same time anyone was trying to come out. INCONSIDERATE AND ASININE. You people deserve to be ticketed.

My family and I were extremely disappointed. We received an advertisement in the mail this morning and were excited to try this spot out for dinner. Everything was terrible. The best thing about the entire meal was the water. The eggs were bland. The bacon tasted like it was cooked on a dirty griddle. The hash browns were terrible. The waffle was just disgusting. WE WONT BE BACK. I dont recommend this place to anyone who likes flavor. Finally the service was extremely slow. The restaurant wasnt busy but it took us TOO long to actually get drinks and food.

I came here with my family because it was recommended by someone. This was the worst experience Ive ever had. It took 10 minutes for our drinks over and hour for our food. My fries were cold and my fathers fries were cold. They were extremely understaffed and the cooks were standing around, when clearly they shouldnt have been. I tried to understand because I am also a server/cook but this was just ridiculous. I left the waitress a decent tip because I understand its not her fault, but I will not be returning. Nor will I recommend anyone to come here.
