Okay I was in the mood for sea food and decided to go here, that was my first mistake. The service was slow and the restaurant itself was kinda gross, but the mortal sin is that the food is bleh. I got the seafood platter, it was my first time and I wanted a little of everything. The fish was gross, the crab cake was more cake than crab, and absolutely everthung was greasy. Also the sides options are decidedly limited. If youre looking for good seafood maybe look somewhere else.

The shrimp, tilapia, and whiting is good! The only two things I found funny is that they use Ore-Ida fries and you have to pay 25 cents for an extra cup of cocktail sauce, which was actually delicious. Other than that, they will still get my business. Good seafood spots (other than at the Oceanfront and Norfolk) are hard to come by and this place is a top contender.

The previous owners who were there for over a decade have finally sold the store. Now there are new owners along with new prices. Theres an obvious change and Im not sure Ill be returning for a while-Difference in food, quantity and quality. :(

I did not mind waiting; my freshly cooked Whiting fillet was worth it! Clean taste, delicious hushpuppy, affordable menu prices and best of all very courteous staff. I would greatly recommend Captain Ks Seafood to my family and friends.
