If you want a genuine coffee shop and baked goods spot, this is it. I stopped in while visiting for a friend and asked what they considered to be a house specialty and they whipped up a dirty Chai latte. Good call. Paired it with a chocolate chip sea salt cookie. Seemed to be a popular meet up and study place. Its a smaller joint but it seemed that as soon as someone was ready to find a seat that someone was getting ready to pack up, so it worked out. Nice, calming atmosphere for folks that like the coffeehouse subculture.

I had never heard of them before. I was out shopping and decided to go in & now Im in love. I had the turkey blt which comes with the chocolate chip sea salt cookie. They were both soooo good. I tried to buy another cookie but because everyone loves them they were sold out. It was so good that I came back and got the same thing the next day plus 2 of the chocolate chip sea salt cookies. Love them !

Cute little Carytown spot--great environment and friendly service, but neither my husband nor I were impressed with the coffee. We both had cappuccinos, and they were too heavy for our tastes--too much milk, not enough espresso. The apple bran muffin was fantastic, and the environment was great! Would try it again when out shopping in Carytown but wouldnt order a cappuccino again.

Pretentious atmosphere with little functionality. They needed to take my and my cousins order twice, had one person making each cup of coffee individually so the line was ridiculously long, there was no room in the place for said line, and they ended up getting my cousins order wrong.

Good coffee, prices were normal: not too expensive, but not cheap either. Has a cute bar style area with old nature journals (yea the sciency one) and other books. They also had free Wi-Fi. The pastries look wonderful but I didnt try any of it. Oh, and the barista was super cute!

I have been there twice -- the first time on my birthday and then today before I began work. On both occasions I got a box of delicious pastries. Today I shared the pastries with my law firm colleagues and they were delighted. This bakery is a welcome addition to Richmond.

I love this coffee shop. The coffee and pastry are delicious, the WiFi is strong, there are plenty of outlets, the decor is evocative of the Hufflepuff Common Room if you ask me, and they even sell alcohol at their bar during certain hours.

The ice coffee packs a bunch. I was good to go for my road trip down south after it. The staff was helpful and prepared my drink quickly. There are tasty treats such as cakes and cookies. Only one bathroom and there is plenty of seating.

My boyfriend and I got a chocolate mocha cupcake from here. It wasnt bad but it wasnt all that great either. Couldnt really taste the mocha flavor at all. Atmosphere of the place was nice and hipstery though.
