Im glad there is a place like 88 here in richmond cause when I dont feel like cooking I dont have to drive too far when Im in the mood for some good Korean BBQ, sides, and drinks! They grill up the meat right in front of you! The price is pretty decent but be prepared to spend some $$$ because itll rack up when ordering the BBQ along with any other dishes like the spicy fish or soups or noodle dishes. The BBQ is more than just Beef and try their Bulgogi! The Service is very friendly and nice. Dont let the language barrier get you... they DO understand you. They also have karaoke rooms which is fun after a few drinks or just to let off some stress with your friends and family ;o). When the new owners took over they cleaned up the restaurant really well and the food just tasted 100x better. This is a good place and I recommend it!

Ever since I discovered this place about a year ago at a friends birthday dinner, Ive been going back on a regular basis. Ive ordered at least 8 different dishes from the menu in my time going to this place and every single one has been a wonderful experience. From time to time Ill even drag friends along who have not had Korean food before and they are always surprised by how good they find the food to be, Ive never seen anyone walk away disappointed. As an added plus, the folks who run the place are friendly and delightful. I highly recommend going here and giving it a try.

By far the best Korean food in Richmond, and if thats faint praise, be assured 88 Garden would more than hold its own against much stronger competition. Delicious and fresh food -- they apparently grow a bunch of their own veggies right out back. A particularly good value for lunch, and the service is gracious and quick.

They say they close at 11:30 pm. We drove half an hour to here and arrived at 10:40 pm. The door was locked. We called and asked why, they said they no longer welcome guests. First time experience anything close to this. I wouldnt be surprised if this place go out of business soon

The food was delicious. Tasted very fresh! It wasnt any more expensive than any other restaurant. So the price isnt an issue. The employees were welcoming and friendly. And they have karaoke, which is absolutely awesome! All in all a great experience!!

Korean restaurant with great food. They often dont have some of the more exotic items on the menu. But I have never had a bad meal there or left hungry.

LOVE IT!!!!!!! Just enjoyed an AMAZING Fathers Day meal. We had Beef Bulgogi, Korean Chicken, Kalbi, and Soup (I forget the name but it was awesome!).
