La comida no fue la gran cosa apenas tenia sabor mi esposa dejo todo su Plato Los precios un poco altos por ejemplo 9.99 por un sandwich cubano mi gente un cubano y para completar la mala experiencia las meseras añadieron la propina a la cuanta sin preguntar nada En mi opinion una completa falta de respeto

La comida no es buena, en adición te cobran por condimentos ejemplo: mayo ketchup y otros:. adicional cobran un 15% obligatorio para pagar a sus empleados, y el porciento de los taxes en los recibo NO es claro. No recomiendo este restaurante. Por 4 platos pague 95 dolares.

I was craving some good homemade food and googled Latin Restaurant and oh my goodness am I pleased!! The place is super clean, the lady up front super nice and the food was ready Im no time. The food was delicious, and the amount of food you get is more than enough for one person. You can even split it to share or save for later. The $ is affordable again, considering the amount of food you get. Totally regiment this place 100% to eat in or to go! :))

La Pena Horeb is a nice hole in the wall restaurant that Im glad I found. Some co-workers took me here and Ive come back for more since. Their portions are extremely generous! My go to is their burritos, which you could stretch for 2 meals. For vegetarians, the BRC (beans, rice, and cheese) burrito with guacamole is delicious. Great authentic tasting food, if youre tired of the Moes and Chipotle burritos.

Really nice place. Great menu with Cuban, Puerto Rican... I would have to say in general it is a Caribbean type of menu. The stewed chicken was beautiful, still together and fell right off the bone. The plantains were delicious. The hostess talked up the pork but I was feeling like chicken. My friend had the beef. We both enjoyed our selections. Next time. Pork.

We began our journey by ordering the Horchata... like nectar from the Gods we filled our bellies. Next, came the Nachos Supreme... delicious. And finally, the Cuban. A Mammoth of a sandwich. I was able to feed my cat for a month off of purely the leftovers. In summary, huge portions, blissful flavor, and an atmosphere that screams... Pura Vida.

I grew up eating this wonderful food. Im in VA and my mom is in NJ, so its really nice to drive a short distance and get some home cooked food. I love that the food here is cooked (not reheated like chain restaurants) and they use ingredients...not frozen food from a catalog. Everything tastes great and fresh. Go try the Pernil (sp?).

Food was just ok but what killed it was the service. One server for alot of customers. Really? Our order was not complete and server never came to check on us because she was busy with other tables. We ate our incomplete meals and are probably not returning. This place would probably kick butt if it had more staff.

Food was worth the trip! We saw it on the Internet and decided to give it a try. Outer appearance let you know this is not upscale or fancy but, the food is authentic and delicious. Good portion of great tasting Spanish home cooking. Nice friendly staff, cozy and clean inside. Great prices! Two thumbs up!

My family and I are Puerto Rican and we love Spanish food. They have the best service and the food is amazing. You have to try the Rice and Beans with Pork and an order of sweet plantains. Awesome I tell you. I really enjoy eating here. Great service and the food is always hot and ready to enjoy.

If you want the taste of Spanish food thats so delicious and so authentic that your grandmother thinks her mom made it look no further its the best food away from my moms house that I can get any time my mom or Im not making it. The staff are extremely friendly and it reminds me of home.

The only thing more wonderful than being married to a beautiful Puerto Rican princess is feasting on some authentic food from her origin without her having to do all of the hard work it takes to prepare it!! Most fabulous dishes made me feel I was back in Puerto Rico. Thank u sooo much

Wonderful little place. The staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome. They were very sweet when I couldnt pronounce menu items. The food was DELICIOUS and tasted homemade. I will definitely come back again and again!

if you are looking for the best hispanic food then come to La Pena. Compared to many of the franchise hispanic foods around town. Its not drenched in cheese and fatty oils. if you are hunger better bring your appetite
