My husband and I stopped here on our way home from a drive in the country. We were a little worried because there arent many restaurants in the area outside of Middleburg (unless you want to head to the more congested areas east) and with no competition some restaurants may not care much about quality of their food. But we were pleasantly surprised with our find. The menu was basic pub fare. The burgers were great, the salad was fresh, and the prices were pretty average for this type of restaurant. $11 for a burger and fries isnt bad. The service was OK, not overly terrific but not bad at all. College aged kids working in a local tavern in a small country town. That fit right in with our relaxed day in the country.

The really nice patio makes this place appealing, but if youre hungry, youre probably going to want to check out some of the other great places in Middleburg. I got a turkey wrap, which I think is simple enough, but there was barely any turkey. It was mostly off-colored tomatoes and lettuce. My friend ordered a steak and cheese sub that was not made the way she asked (with no mayo). Also, we got jalapeño poppers as an app and...they really seemed like they were dropped out of a box and microwaved. Id go back for a drink on the patio but if Im gonna spend $40-$50 on two sandwiches and an app, its gonna be somewhere else.

Management staff have no structure on policies regarding seating guests. My family and I was asked to leave a table after waiting for nearly 30 minutes only to seat another family that had just arrived using the excuse that they signed on the waiting list, however, when my wife earlier went in to ask about she was told no it was first come first serve.

The name has changed at least 3 times in the past 10 years but the atmosphere and meals have remained consistent. The meals are pretty standard Sysco items. But you go here for the bar scene and to have a nice quiet lunch on the patio. Prices are consistent with the quality and it is probably the least expensive restaurant in Middleburg.

Their grilled steak entree salad is amazing. The best part is that they use real blue cheese and vegetables are very fresh. Service is not bad. The staff there are helpful and friendly. Tax is 10% here. Its a good place to dine in when you are passing this quiet and peaceful town. They have both bar area and nice patio.

Food was surprisingly good - but the menu is boring overall, salad and sandwiches mostly. I am giving 2 stars due to the interior and decor. It was really run down looking, kind of gross... Dirty scuffed walls, damaged window trim, broken windows, chipped diner tables, etc. Fix up your place!

Simple, straightforward food thats a little overpriced. The food was good, especially the shepherds pie. Beer selection is okay. Wine selection is okay. The atmosphere is very chill and the patio is awesome.
