This place was great! Took a bit to get the food out but it was worth the wait. Only been here once so not sure if the long wait was a fluke. We got the grilled ham and cheese, the brisket sandwich, and fries. It was all yummy! There was a ton of meat on the brisket sandwich. We would have preferred splitting the meat into two different sandwiches and adding some veggies, since there was only a little slaw on them (no tomatoes or onions). The fries were great. And I got the ham and cheese to share with my kids. It had to be the best ham and cheese Ive ever had! The lemonade was wonderful as well. Place is cute and comfy as well. Would definitely come back again :)

Visited easily on a Saturday morning so it was not too busy yet but I can surely see why it is usually a very busy place. Ordered the pulled pork sandwich with a side of macaroni and cheese. Even when you add barbeque sauce to the sandwhich the great flavors on the meat and slaw still shine through as you are eating. They serve a sauce which is a mixture of vinegar and tomato based that is sure to please any true barbeque lover. I am from North Carolina and have lived in Texas but have never had a sauce that unique. Their house made tomato based sauce is also amazing if you are not an avid barbeque fan.

What a wonderful new addition to the area! We stopped by for dinner and wee pleasantly surprised at how fresh and delicious every thing was. Ordering was easy and they had a bunch of canned beer + beer on tap to choose from. I had a cheeseburger - which was one of the best that I have had in a really long time and the "heavenly" corn pudding. My boyfriend had the ham and cheese with mac and cheese. He commented that there could have been a little more flavor on top of the Black Forest ham but he enjoyed it overall. We cant wait to come back and try more items.

Stopped by for a late lunch and had great service. Plenty of local drink options, but others available, as well. Got the pulled pork sandwich with Mac and cheese. My husband got the cheeseburger with fries. Everything was yummy. There were many sauce options, too. My husband did wish the cheese was cheddar instead of American on his burger, but thats personal choice. Great atmosphere with soft music playing. Great choice for casual dining on your time.

This new place looks classy but it doesnt really have much to offer inside. The menu is skimpy as are the goods for sale. It is apparent that perhaps one day the interior will be lush with goods and nice foods for sale, but that is not the case today. The uninspired menu and offerings inside the deli cases caused us to leave the premisis. Well try again in another couple of months.

Smoked turkey and slaw on a gluten free bun with great hand cut fries. Also ordered the corn and crab soup. MMMM all great. Very pleased. Love the selected offerings of the store and the menu. Really able to focus on all of the great things. Staff is there is please and is of course knowledgable. Will definitely go back. Just recommended Roots to my daughter and family.

The best dang barbecue in the entire DC area, and maybe outside of Texas. Anything you try here is amazing. The atmosphere is cute in that exposed wood beams kind of way, and the shop has locally made goods. Where else will you go for lunch while youre out tasting wine?

Great stop on route 15. Cute little shop and cafe. Not a huge menu, but enough. Local beer on tap, and cheap bottles and cans in fridge to buy. Burger was good. Wife had the pulled pork and it was good too. Fries were amazing. Stop here, you wont be disappointed.
