Small run of the mill diner with good prices. The staff is experienced and friendly. The food is on par with what can be expected from the prices. They have a reliable fish fry dinner on Fridays, and a sausage gravy during breakfast that is so popular that it is usually sold out before 11. The building could use some renovation as it has been in operation for a long while, however the ambience can invoke nostalgia of a time when it was young.

Have had mixed experiences, the last one will probably keep us away for a little while. Server was rude, service was poor, we waited 45 minutes for an omelet and french toast, both of which where poorly executed. They comped us the bill but we didnt even stay to eat, wasnt worth it. Give it a try for sure but dont expect a great experience everytime, unless it was because they were a little busy but not an excuse to me.......

I usually shy away from "family restaurants," as they never vary: too many boring items on the menu, and it all tastes the same, at least to me. But the Lakeville Family Diner is one outstanding exception! Tasty, well-prepared food (the Reuben Soup is amazing), excellent service, incredible value for the money!

I was hoping to enjoy dinner here, on my way to the Abbey of the Genesee. I arrived at 7:20 and they were closed. It would be very helpful to list the hours of operation. Sorry I missed out!
