Came for breakfast. It was great. The omelette I had was very good. I would come back in a heart beat. Okay, here is the thing reviewers need to think about: the nature of the place they are coming to. It is a counter order cafe. The staff was perfectly pleasant. This place is a classic new style neighborhood cafe that serves quality food all 3 meals but in a super casual atmosphere. It is OBVIOUS unless you live your food life at MacDonalds. Simple doesnt mean sterile. People are in here with kids having Sunday breakfast. Dude is reading paper in corner. What more could you ask of a local neighborhood gathering place. Cant speak to coffee, as I dont drink coffee. The only thing that could have been better is peppers were jarred, but it worked in this omelette. Still the omelette was cooked perfectly and I would eat it again without question. I mean look at it...it looks really tastey...and it was!!! Lets all get back to servicing the small business and local quality establishments. You will have a good meal and a good experience here. Note I am on from out of town so I have no vested interest in this review. That should tell you something, since I have taken time to write this!

Great little local coffee and ice cream shop in the west end of Richmond. My wife and I stopped in for breakfast and coffee. The coffee is from another Richmond favorite, Lamplighter Coffee. I actually got a hot chamomile tea, which was really good. We each got bacon, egg, and cheese bagels that were pretty tasty. The prices are high with a large drip coffee coming in at 3.25(Feb 2017) which is almost a dollar more than the already expensive Starbucks. My 16 oz coffee and breakfast sandwich came in just under $10. I somewhat want to drop a star for the prices in general but the prices reflect the neighborhood so I wont. However if you are just dropping in you should prepare yourself for a bigger bill than most coffee shops. That being said, the breakfast sandwich was really very good (albeit small)The environment is really nice and minimal. If you like to support local, this is a great stop for you to grab a quick meal or coffee.

Everytime I come to Shoredog I am greeted by the amazing staff. I am an avid coffee lover and let me say I am all about my PSL and I will never order one from Starbucks ever again after trying their Homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte Made with Lamplighters Amazing Coffee. I come here weekly and adore the beachy atmosphere. The fact they also are dog lovers clings close to my heart because my furbabies are my WORLD! I am so excited about them being open for dinner now!

This is a wonderful place to either go to for a quite chat with friends or negotiation with clients, or even to get on with some work done on your own. The coffee is Lamplighters and the food is all made on the premises. An ABC license has just been granted so look out for Beer and Wine on the menu soon. Easy parking and charming staff make the Shore Dog a great alternative to a Starbucks.

This is my go-to coffee shop in the West End. I love how calm and casual the atmosphere is; the staff has always been kind and friendly. My friend says their grilled cheese is the best shes ever had, but the Westham sandwich is what I always order for lunch. I wish they stayed open later more days of the week, though, so I could get coffee and study or get some things done after work.

This place is super cute and charming! The interior is really quaintly decorated, and they have beautiful artwork displayed all the time. Plus, they serve breakfast and lunch all day, have yummy pastries, and gelato. What more can you ask for? A great place to just meet friends or just hang out for an hour or two, with ample seating, though the main space can be a bit echo-y.

The level of foods is supreme. I would say its even better than some upscale restaurants. The price is appropriate, well suit their foods. Coffee is a great plus. I am surprised they are so damn good, with so much reasonable price than any places close by. Service is nice. I felt welcome here. When I looked around, I watched the sheep on the wall. I felt I am in love.

Place of outstanding service and quality! Kylie was the one who took care of me during my visit, between her and the kitchen taking the time to prepared everything just right it was an outstanding meal. Next time Im in the area I will def consider coming back

My wife and I really enjoyed our dinner tonight. She had the Caesar salad with oysters and I had the crab cake entree. Both were excellent and the portion sizes werent too big. Our server was very friendly and attentive even the restaurant was very busy.
