Had an event scheduled for today that even required me to put down a deposit because "large parties book and then dont show up too often" only to arrive at MY scheduled time to a locked building and no staff on site. Imagine that! Their posted opening time today was 11am. I called Jeffrey Moore "Jay", one of the owners, who I apparently woke up out of his sleep. He arrived to my party, who had been waiting 21 minutes at this point, in what appeared to be his dirty clothes from the night before with no apology NOR did he even speak to us until 15 minutes or more of us standing around AFTER his arrival. He only did that after one of the ladies in my party had to literally go in the kitchen and get him because he ignored us completely. He offered nothing but excuses. He never even apologized for inconveniencing us until someone asked "are you going to at least apologize?" to which he replies "I should...". I will NEVER visit this establishment again. I returned in the past because the food is good but you will not continue to offer poor customer service as if I, the customer, am here for YOU and not the other way around. This is not the first time your lack of professionalism had shined through. Fortunately, there was a party of 20+ ladies today who got to experience what and who you are and, with that, your losses will far exceed just my party today. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! Give your money to someone who appreciates the time, effort, and dollars you put into their establishment. And, then you wonder why people dont like to do business with US.

So lets start off with the food is good once you get it and that is all .So I scheduled my event for 50+ guest on the day of event I came in set up and was told everything was good I was gonna have 3 servers but as the dinner started one girl had to leave which left me with one server that knew what she was doing and then the other that was new and didnt seem to know anything.People food was cold ,orders mixed up and chicken that was grilled but said to be fried. To get some food or drinks I had to get up n ask the female to please come to the table so the family could get there food n drinks going.JAY STAYED ON HIS PHONE even while short staffed .I got so mad the food came but no silverware

My co workers and I went to Deja Vu Restaurant yesterday for lunch. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was soothing. I ordered the sea food delight, it was seasoned to perfection. My co worker ordered the Mamas chicken; everything was delicious. My waitress was attentive to our needs; she even informed us on upcoming events ;paint and sip parties. I give Deja Vu 5 stars, not just because the food was great but because the service was great, and the restaurant was so clean you could eat of the floor LOL(little humor). Needless to say, I will definitely be going back.

I was conflicted in making a decision on what I wanted from the lunch menu, because the options all sounded delicious and affordable. I chose to go with the sweet chili wing and fries basket. I made the right decision, it was great. The sauce is cooked into the chicken, so the taste is consistent throughout, not only on the skin. My fries were paired with honey mustard and BBQ sauce. My server was Jay and he was very helpful during my dining experience. I was with Jovaughn lmfao!!

My husband and I went into Deja Vu on the 7th of May and the food was AMAZING! I had the grilled bbq porkchops with mac and cheese and green beans, and my husband had the chargrilled shrimp with collards and mac and cheese. The food was delicious and Jay, our server, had awesome customer service. Deontae, the cook, really outdid himself with the amazing food! We also had long islands, which were great. Overall we really enjoyed the experience and will definitely be returning!

Had the smothered porkchop, greens, sweet potatoes & corn bread. Great! Generous portions, hot & fresh. Best smothered pork chop Ive had out of 4 soul food spots. Cornbread could be considered "dessert" moist, Flavor & delicious! Good customer service! Dont let the lack of marketing/word of mouth keep u away..You will be satisfied! Most bang for your dollar. Spoke to the owner & he convinced me to try breakfast the next day... check out next post!

Good afternoon if your looking for a nice night or day on the town check out Deja vu Restaurant and lounge. Jason help us out today with are choice of entrée and it was awesome. We both got the rib dinner which included mac & cheese, collared greens and we ordered a side of yams and peach cobbler i truly enjoy myself here they made me feel at home the customer service and the food was amazing.

The food was delicious! Hubby had mamas chicken, mac and cheese and yams - he loved it! My low carb meal was a garden salad with jumbo grilled shrimp, nicely prepared and delicious! Although the salad and shrimp was a small meal, it was very satisfying. The atmosphere was cool, great music and service. Hubby also enjoyed the peach cobbler and a cocktail.

I had the fried chicken, macaroni and cheese and collard greens. Great good, very good atmosphere. The only critique that i would give is better service. It took about 15 mins for the waiter to come over and they got my drink wrong. Other than that, its a great restaurant.

Food was delicious and service was good. My fiancé and I went during the night and had a wing appetizer. The music was good, crowd was age appropriate (25+) and not over packed. We came back a second time and had brunch. Brunch was Delish and the owner was really nice.

Food is great but service isnt. No one answers the phone, the staff walks past you forever before taking a order and you may have to remind them what youre waiting on after 30 minutes. If they take care of the speed and courtesy of the staff, this place could be great.

By far the best ribs Ive had since Ive been in Hampton VA. The meat fell off them bones like panties dropping on a night full of henny drinking. Food came quick and everything was fresh! Even the water ! .. the damn water. Money sign $hout out to my mans Jay

This place is very welcoming and it has a very nice vibe! The food is great I had the fried pork chops, mac n cheese, and yams! Oh yea, the red wine is phenomenal! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves great food and a great atmosphere

Today Deja Vu Restaurant& lounge showed great customer service i order pork chop smothered n barbecue with greens didnt c any baked potatoes on the menu but they made it work love this spot. Tamica with the drinks is awesome

Spent 2017 Super Bowl here. This joint was live. Drinks had good prices and the food was definately something to come back for more. If you want good chicken wings this is the spot...better than my mothers.

Over priced food. Dont get your good to go because they dont put their heart into those. Eat there. Least then after waiting forever for your food, your already there so you can just send it back.
